A fun fact about Jim Cummings that I didn’t know until someone showed it to me, and this is on UA-cam that he sat down and did a table read of Star Wars as Winnie the Pooh. He was playing the role of Darth Vader. There is several and I do mean several table reads of Star Wars and other stuff with other animated characters if you not seen them it’s a gut busting laugh.
In my old college town,, I’m talking about the 1980s there was a place called Duds & Suds, where you could do your laundry and get a beer and bars, snacks.
Mike, back in the 1970's in Gainesville, FL, Allen's Gator House had the laundry/bar idea already working. You could throw your clothes in the machine, step through a door and get a pitcher of beer while the washer did its job.
Also, a fun fact that the white star line the owners of the titanic wrote a letter to the band members that died during the event, expressing their loss and saying that they owed them 5 pounds and three shillings for the instruments and the uniforms that they were wearing when they died yes, they actually sent this letter saying those were white star property andthe families owed them money in a greedy corporation
Ive always wanted to make a show called "Breaking In". Its like breaking bad, only instead of selling meth, he gets locked up for the free healthcare in prison, and the show follows his descent from "fresh meat" to "lifer"
One other side note on the Lion King Scar/Hitler scene. When they do the close-up of Scar, you'll notice all of the cracks in the walls are now curved into Art Deco shapes and motifs from the period.
I did a paper on that in English 101, as we did a final paper instead of a final exam. I saw the professor on the bus between terms and he said that my comparison between The Lion King and the rise & fall of Hitler got the top grade in the class. I was like "HECK YES!!!!!!"
@@GL-RTA_SORthats awesome! When i was in high school i ditched a minimum of 3 days a week at a continuation school. I went in to class one day as they were starting a project and decided i want to try that day. So i copied a photo of a woman on a magazine with pastel crayons or whatever they are called. Well that was a few weeks before school ended and when i came back over summer that art teacher pulled me aside and said he submitted my work to a contest and won. I had to go to the ceremony and make an excuse on why and how i did my work lol. Mind you i wasnt artistic nor a drawer 😂
Love Love Love Love Love your channel. Thank you for all of your team's hard work! I have been watching your videos for about 3 months, and I look forward to it every day. You rock dude ❤
6:04 Regrowing teeth huh, that's interesting. This has been going on for 4 years, about to enter clinical stages will see a massive progress upswing between 25 and 26 if that ever happens. It is said to help people fix damage teeth, replace missing ones, and help those with rare disorders. The medicine itself should be a mimic copycat, behaving as it would normally do. You can have it for 1.5m . They plan to test 50 kids and adults over the next two years, but I tell you...keep a very close attention to this. The Health Profession won't want this to succeed, as it would hurt thier business. I am glad you mentioned this...but apparently it carries no side effects yet, which is odd and has a 100% rating success.
You have done it again, Mike! Another list that lets us know a LOT of things we didn't. I actually knew a couple of them, but not in depth, so you've managed to expand my mind a bit further than it was! Thank you!
There should be No division in America when it comes to the populaces feelings about politics. We should all agree we are getting The Shaft no matter who is in office. I have seen the corruption each year for 56 years and it's getting worse.
For real. Blue vs. Red as if one or the other will help. Hahaha. It's cute people still think it matters. Name me one, just one, social problem solved in 56 years, besides the one that was going to kill us all (Ozone Layer). That's the only thing the government fixed afaik.
I said this on Reddit once to someone who asked what the world would be like without religion “Likely barely any different humans always find something to fight over”
Regarding number 23: boardgames were never gone in Europe. Every year thousands of new games are released and the world largest annual games fair (SPIEL in Essen, Germany) only paused in 2020.
For the silica project, I'd be willing to bet that Star Trek is a contributor to the inspiration. As for predictive policing, 1984 was meant to be a warning, not a blueprint.
Mike, referring to number 25, during Covid, a new pub experience cropped up. In Massachusetts two entrepreneurs created the “tiny pub”, which is a small pub on wheels that you can rent. It parks in your driveway.
Thank you for all the hard work everyone at List 25 does. How about doing a list on every country in the world? That would also make an interesting compellation. I would love to have that on in the back ground during the holidays. Would make for great conversations instead of politics.
Wonder what it would do for me, I had crooked terrible rotten teeth until they were all removed two years ago. Hm. Someone mentioned $1.5m price tag, times 28 ( very few have room for the wisdom teeth to come in properly, and quite a number of people have less than four-I had just one) comes to $42m for a new mouthful of teeth? I doubt dental insurance is going to pay for that one.
21:25 We had a similar pub in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It was called the “Wash and Slosh”. It was closed a couple decades ago, when gentrification started happening on Broadway.
I thought covid’s unintended boon,(I know, I’m digressing), were the amazing photographs of completely non-polluted landscape. Especially in India. They were absolutely beautiful, and were a reminder of how things really ought to be. Environmentally of course.
There IS a semantic difference between "pitch perfect" and "perfect pitch". But that seems to be all we really have on the matter. I don't remember the difference, but it was explained to me once.
US government wanted to set off six nuclear bombs in Alaska. Thankfully there was enough scientists that were able to show that they were affected already from the bombs set in world war II that it wasn't a good idea. But they still did them in the deserts here in the United States.
* So, in quarantine porn flourished. Years later board games are on the rise. What's wrong with that picture? 😕 * Years after Keegan, a woman who applied for child support and was accused of fraud and had her children taken away. Took years to figure' it out. * Yakuza is that distant uncle that'll chase off your bullies, but don't you dare cross him either. * AI reliability is an oxymoron, Mike. Great list!👊🏼 Thanks for the bonus bits.
Hes absolutely right about number 12!! It will only work to enforce bias and stereotyping simply for a persons past record. Its certainly something that shouldn't just be used on the general public, and only used with warrants, like when someone is being watched or under investigation maybe.
My little sister was born in June 6, 1966 (or 6/6/66.) We grew up in a fanatically religious household, so it was really easy to make her cry by telling her she was worse than the devil because she had 4 sixes and the devil only had 3. These days we can laugh about it, but back in the day, it was kind of mean.
I love this show. I watch it everyday. Don't change a thing PLEASE. I'm kind of old. That's why I called it a show. I can't remember what it is called.
The fact that Diogenes and internet trolls go to the same defense (freedom of speech) is actually pretty fascinating. Not a surprise, obviously, but fascinating nonetheless.
Jimmy John's used to have a combo where, if I recall proper, if you got a club with chips, a drink, and a cookie, it rang up to $6.66. eventually, they changed the price of the drink being added to add 1¢, so it would ring up $6.67. I may be wrong about the exact items, it's been like 17 years since I worked there.
Been a fan for a long time. Your looking good after the weight loss(you looked good before too) and I'm loving the way you rock that 3 tone beard.. keep up the good work.
I heard about that voice actor change in the middle of Be Prepared before but I so far hadn't taken a closer listen to it. Had to do that now in the middle of the video. XD Can't say I hear much of a difference though. But then again it's probably because he's singing, accompanied by a choir and music. It probably would have been more notable if he was talking.
8:29 Scar was the best, but unfortunately, due to his uncanny resemblance and actions, they sort of goofed him up a bit during the remake because for a long time people saw the similarities and it is the only way to avoid the ban and the negative backlash. (Yet, the cartoon is still loved and ranks #2 after Dumbo considering). Yeah, Cartoon Scar was cool..... I wonder what they going to do with him during another remake that is said to come out next year. Lion King The Mufasa. This one has been a long awaited youtube fan theory creationary, so it will be interesting to see where they go with this.
So he was a meth tutor by day and a math dealer by night? Wait, i think i might have those mixed up. But in case i got it right i need that guys number, ive been in search of someone who can sell me math equations in a dark alley and also someone who can help me pass my meth making test.

In IDOC it cost $2 did you go to the doctor and $2 for medications. I would watch your show
Love this idea.

Appreciate the timestamps with description.
Been watching list 25 for countless years love the show and mikes transformation over the years
I've had serious problems with the entire idea of trusting AI with anything beyond basic online searches.... even that has problems!
Even that, I heard are not always true

Mike, your linguistic prowess is SO cool!
Yaas! The man could read a Chinese phone book.

i am supporting your channel with a comment. thanks mike!
#8 Yeah well The Yakuza started out as an altruistic organization and most members still see themselves as "Robin Hood" types. 🤓😎✌🏻
Regarding number 23: boardgames were never gone in Europe. Every year thousands of new games are released and the world largest annual games fair (SPIEL in Essen, Germany) only paused in 2020.
Calling the internet out, is why I clicked the video. Delivering the bold facts - is why I enjoyed the stay! Great video!

@@user-ml3hl6vr4t definitely a bit more expensive than a solid drug habit to loose them……. 😊
As usual exelent work Mike keep it up
Awesome Mike, I love learning all the stuff I never knew and so appreciate your sense of humour as well. You're the best!
I appreciate that!
I would have loved to have a pub in our washateria growing up; a game room or mini theater would have been nice too. 😂😂
21:25 We had a similar pub in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It was called the “Wash and Slosh”. It was closed a couple decades ago, when gentrification started happening on Broadway.
I look for a new list every day.
We've got you covered!
A great bar in Madison, WI is the Caribou, or "bou, right next to a laundry mat.
You have the best videos…..an actual human talking and really great content. Keep it up 😉

Guaca-frickin-mole is probably the funniest thing I've heard you say.😂😂😂😂

Imagine using the same idea but with let's say Ruby and other precious gems. For Diamond/Ruby Faceted memory.

What are the legal implications for someone being a chimera in court?

One of your best lists!
i really like monoply candy land and clue those are some of my favorite board games 🙂
What's up with the plain shirt Mike? I always like seeing the different cool shirts you wear.
I guess i'm a nerd because I google everything every single time I don't know what it is.

Nuke the moon, is a science book, along with elephants on acid and electrified sheep. All about the darker and sometimes funnier side of science.
Board games are back really? It's like pulling teeth to get anybody to play a board game.
Perfect pitch is what I was raised on, I can do all accents, and sing al songs with ease
On sunset bch in T.I. FL. I used to do laundry across the street from the Driftwood bar , now Caddy's
Number 12 was actually done in an episode of The Thundermans
21:03 You didn't say if the meal is included in the outrageous cost of the laundry.

Scar is featured in Hercules in the bathroom as a rug.
I think Mike should do a list 25 about himself eh lol
I literally never wanted to Google any of this, even if I wasn't lazy😂
Much love from Polk County ❤

I truly appreciate it!!
Plot twist: I'm already am lazy... Until I have to work again.
