I've never been a lipstick person having perpetually dry, chapped lips so I am absolutely thrilled with how many tinted lip balm options are now being offered. The trend over the last 8-10 years has gone from full coverage matte everything to sheer & barely there. I fall somewhere in the middle & love all the new formulas & "natural" looking products( creme, gel, liquid & balm) as my skin has changed & has different needs. It's also nice to see actual neutral eyeshadow palettes (people keep saying they are cool but they're just desaturated/soft) Everything was very orange/red or jewel toned in seasons past.
I know I am late to this thread, but I have the same lip issues as you. I love the lip balm by Soothing Touch. I have tried like 50 brands. I use unscented.
I got 9 blushes in the sale. Not even sorry. On another note, the shape of your eyes and the way your eyelashes are more curled and fuller on the outer edges is so, so pretty! I love watching you do eye makeup

That happened to me too! I received my order and they had thrown in the Patrick Ta Major dimension 3 palette, it was in my wishlist, so I double-checked to see if I accidentally ordered it, but I didn't. I'm super grateful, but my first thought was also that I hope the people who are packing the orders are ok 😅

Other than the fact I haven’t yet retired I could have authored this comment! I too have gotten all new makeup and brushes including Rephr. Have learned a lot from UA-cam that has improved both my skincare and makeup!
As someone who can't handle having make up on her skin for long time, the Chanel bubbly thingy is the perfect way to give myself the minimal coverage I want to feel more cpnfident with the feeling on having nothing on the face. Hope you will enjoy the Beauty Inc version!
It’s taken me 20 years to go with the one and done eyeshadow… I think those Tom Ford eyeshadow sticks are perfect for that and it looks beautiful on you…

You know what is so great about this video? It’s your joy 🎉. Makeup should be fun and you bring it. So many “UA-camrs” have gone the way of let’s not overspend, we’ve moved beyond Sephora. Even if you don’t spend a lot at at the Sephora dale (I did), it’s fun to be reminded makeup is supposed to make you feel good and bring joy. Yay for you! And I’m a lot older than you 😊
My fave concealer is the ETUDE Big Cover Skin Fit Concealer in the shade Neutral Mint - and yes despite being a grey mint shade it literally matches my pale olive skin almost perfectly 😂 I use it as my only base product! It wouldn’t work for most people, but if anyone reading this is a superrrrr pale olive girly, give it a try!!! 🙌
The fenty stick foundation is my new absolute favorite. It’s the right amount of light coverage that lasts 8 hours for me. It’s just isn’t much stick for $35. I’m over halfway through and had it about 3 weeks.
Have you seen how the packaging of their foundation stick allows you to use up all the product, including what’s down in the base? Usually a good amount of product is unusable in a stick once you can no longer roll it up, but Fenty designed their stick differently

Nectar by Weatman Atelier is my favorite highlighter, bar none. It can be very subtle. I also love the blush stick in Chouchette. Also like Petal blush stick. I bought the pink powder, but haven’t tried it yet.

I don't know if it's because I haven't purchased new highlighters in so many years, but suddenly... I just really want new highlighters? It's not like I even have much of a dent in the few I have because you need so little, but it's just been so long since I've tried anything. I got the powder Rare Beauty one about a month or so ago (wasn't personally impressed, so that doesn't help, bummed out by the one the first one I purchased in like... 5 years), and now I have ones by Makeup By Mario, Dior, Bobbi Brown, and Hourglass on my wishlist. Tough decisions.
This is the stuff dreams are made of 😊 My wish list is several G's...

Lauren, you should try MAC's studio fix concealer/foundation pen. It has a stunning, natural, flawless finish to it and I can cover my whole face with one pump or do a half pump and just do spot concealing. I have combo/oily skin. Highly recommend!

You should try the Westman Atelier contour stick in Biscuit. Blends out so beautifully! You can even buy the smaller size of that one

Oooo I’ve been using the rose inc tinted serum skin tint for the past year and a half and I love it! I don’t use it every day but it is definitely part of the rotation. I have more dry skin with lots of texture so the radiance is loved by me. I always apply with a brush from the back of my hand. Will try it with my fingers!

I own tons o' makeup, and WA Peau de Peche is the most beautiful product in my collection. I don't know what made me buy it a couple of years ago, but I'm so glad I did. I wear it as a blush, and the finish is angelic. The hype is beyond real with that one - nothing makes me feel prettier. (Westman's formulas are exquisite, I must say.) Great haul, Lauren! xo

Violet Voss is a very underrated brand. I have a few of their palettes and they preform just as well as more expensive ones. I wish they had better marketing. More people need to know about them. Especially with inflation and more people wanting affordable makeup.

I absolutely love WA Peau de Peche for Spring/Summer. Also love their highlight sticks in Nectar and Parla. Holy grail for me!
Lauren, idk if youve tried the paula's choice toner that everyone raves about, but i think you would really like it. It's the one product that truly makes a difference almost immediately. & it really simplifies the routine bc all you need is moisturizer!

Hannah Louise Poston loves that Rose Inc concealer because it is so desaturated and she uses it often (or at least on the videos I had seen BF (before Felix)) as a foundation! Also the Tom Ford Rose Iris highlighter may be my favorite release of the year! It is GORGEOUS!
I love the Danessa Myricks shadows, so I was on the app at 3am (my time) as soon as the sale started, to get the palette. No regrets!

I usually love your recommendations but I finally got one that I HATED! It’s the Fresh strawberry scrub. It felt so squeaky in between my fingers when I was applying it, I couldn’t stand it! I tried one more time to see if I could try to stop being crazy, but no 😂

I'm so happy you got the Rose Inc. Serum tint! I love that stuff for when I don't want to wear typical foundation. It's so awesome! Also the Rose Inc. Cream bronzer, so 👏 good 👏 All of the products work so awesome together too. Maybe the bronzer next sale. I love the huda beauty concealer and the Lancôme. The rose inc is okay I love the color but it’s kind of drying over time. I just picked up tower 28 so I’m excited to try that. Also I love the rose inc serum foundation is so beautiful and makes your skin look beautiful. If you want more cover use a brush :) it’s probably my favorite skin tint
I absolutely LOVE that you apply your products the way they are supposed to be applied. My Husband laughs at me because when a creators blush is straight up being removed I am screaming put it on a brush and then he yells ‘and stipple, don’t swipe!’ 😂😂😂
I have put in 2 orders! Girl, I’ve spent so much money!! I didn’t get my LYS contour and it’s sold out , but they sent me 2 Haus labs foundations.??? I’m loving the Milk cream lipsticks they are gorgeous. I also love the Givenchy blushes. Wow! Your makeup looks great. I passed on the Fenty cream stick and got the new Sheseido foundation and I do love it! With my blonde hair I’m struggling finding the one and don’t eye shadows. I got 2 palettes Mario ethereal and DM Ground Effects. I thought it wouldn’t work for me as well, but I love it!🖤

I cant wait for your thoughts on the Danessa Myricks palette because the SAME THING happened to me! I didn’t want it, and then the moment I laid eyes on it in store I HAD TO HAVE IT! Lol
Don't waste your time returning the extra Tom Ford highlighter, I received additional items in a clothing order recently, thought I was being honest brought them back in store. The Sales assistant behaved in such an annoyed way, almost rude. When I commented to the manager, she told me I shouldn't have bothered, if they sent it, it's yours.
My Danessa Myricks V palette arrived the other day. I wore my Xenon palette yesterday for a daytime look. The pale pink shade shows up very pale pink/ lilac on me. The colors looked great on my fair/ light skin. For reference I wear NARS Light Reflecting in shade L2 Mont Blanc.
I went to an event later that evening. I added a few of DM V shades onto my eyes to complement the shades I was wearing from the Xenon palette.

Last year, Sephora accidentally sent me an ENORMOUS holiday candle. I'd just ordered a brush or two, so as soon as I picked up the box and felt the heft, I knew something was up. I skipped the sale this time around but it's seriously tempting to order a small thing just to see what they send lol

I would love the DM lightworks I AM palette , it looks so beautiful . I feel its priced accordingly as they are all special shades no ordinary shimmers in this palette so those extravagant shades are expensive to make .( so Ive heard).

I also love the WA super loaded tinted highlight! Peau de Rosé is the perfect blush/highlight for me, I found Peau de Pêche to be too warm.
U should try using a small eyeshadow blending brush to get as close to ur hairline as possible!
