The IJ needs to do Oe so they are AWARE of where the actual problem is, what is worth controlling, and whether there is true security rather than a false sense of security.

Indeed. Confining myself in the sensory is creating something that will already be outdated before the ink is dry. My way of dealing with it stems from the book "Righting Software" by Juval Löwy. The author describes "encapsulating volatility" as a core tenet in software development. Roughly the argument is: things change, built things in such a way that changing elements is as painless as possible. This amounts to finding the 'fault lines'. This idea has helped me immensely in being able to just 'blasting' things out. I try to structure everything around change, so I'm less afraid of the inevitable.
Good idea. Not to mention we are dependent on different things. Creating ideas is much simpler until you realized you don't have enough nails for it to be built.

"Show up!!" is a very Te energy move. "Do the work", "trustworthy" etc. is all Te. The need for confirmation is Ni however.

@@hunpo1 Dave is technically an intj in their system. I think that type is glorified and thats why they shit on them more than say esfps. Not saying that its right but that may be why. Also Dave recognizing dumb shit he does. But I do notice they rarely talk about the positives of that type
As someone with aux Ne, I don't think it sounds like Ne. I have no problem committing to new ideas (or aspects of them) if it seems better than what I'm currently doing. If I have to change it in the future, I will change it in in the future - but I don't hold out on trying things in anticipation for a better one.

I wish I could stop doing Ni all the time... or whatever my real savior function is. I don't even know at this point. Why is finding your savior functions so hard? And then I'm going to have to face my demons too.
The ENTJ is very easy to start with in order to recognize and understand the relation between Te-Fi.
Demon Fi is basically low self esteem, or self doubt. Imagine an engine that is really small, and cannot tolerate much pressure or work. Low Fi engine then, requires compensation.
In order to counter this low self doubt or self worth, is the exact opposite.
It is *Extraverted* energy, not introverted. And, it is *Thinking* not Feeling. Ergo, Te
In other words, an ENTJ must complete a broad spectrum of tasks in order to tell his/her Fi, that: "now that you've *DONE* all of these things, you are worthy and can relax."
Temperament also follows this relationship, as do fears, "quotes to live by" like religion or philosophies, and tolerance and patience towards people and mistakes.
The Ni-Se compensation pattern is harder to detect and is not at all as self evident.
The only way I've been able to really understand it, is to write. I've written down everything I like as an INFJ, and everything I hate, and looking for patterns in the light of past experiences.
A part of that list could be:
I like the idea of being a sniper in the military, they can get to the enemy because of range and stealth, but is hard to get for the enemy
I like to go to the foundation of things, so I cannot get manipulated or tricked when things get complicated or unclear
I like this superhero because of X reasons (often looking for Ni reasons, whatever that is in _your_ eyes)
I like to be able to choose and not get stuck in reality, where reality can put preassure on me I did not choose (situations, people, gatherings, demands etc.)
The most Ni thing I've come to realize about myself, is really the sense of being able "to be in or out" at my own choise.
Can you choose to leave, or do you feel forced to show up? Distance. Preparedness. Not being dependent. That is the *core*, to every motivation I have as an Ni Saviour.
Bad economy? I am prepared, so I don't have to suffer. Oh, you aren't? Good luck then...
Betrayal? Ok it hurts, but I can leave and never come back because I don't have to be stuck in X situation (Boss, co-workers, partner etc.)
Transportation issues? Yeah, thought of that too, no problem
Other people in need? Mm, prepared for that too
When you play a game, do you research about it before? When at work, do you want to be prepared, or be in the thick of it with screaming people and workorders that take too long because no one thought it through? Do you enjoy sporadit visits at home when you haven't cleaned or are running around minding your own stuff, or wish it was planned?
Phonecalls and texts and emails, loud noises "at the wrong time"...
These are some things that describes the Demon Se poking at Saviour Ni

Have always had a similar mindset myself, but always felt aware about why I think that way, and summed it up to be a defense mechanism.
My brain seem to rationalize things in ways that honestly force me to believe in my own personal narratives, and when it’s hard to argue against that very narrative I set onto myself, I rationalize that it must be the correct mindset.
When it comes to experiences in life it can usually be an asset, but when it comes to how I should change or think or develop usually it’s easier to boil it down to “well, I know myself better than anyone so I should just accept it.”
Been starting to think it may be something like Ne - Nemesis denying other possible mindsets. The question is, for what purpose? Maybe because it’s challenging me to change my fixed vision of an ideal future. I’m just mad I can’t easily do that, so better to just accept my fate.
I’m not very religious myself, but the strength of our will is enormous. More often than not I wonder that if I could “beat” that nemesis, then everything else would fall into place because the best opposition against me is myself. As if I’d finally have that true inner strength I crave.
Just my own food for thought. Always like to self reflect to help wake me up in the morning, so figured I’d give the ramble here.
@@tylernelson9039 Shadow work on Ne Nemesis can prove useful though. The Ne-Si dichotomy is a bottom-up approach in perceiving reality & is more forgiving in
branching out to many N-possibilities becoz the N is external, it's also more representative of the group rather than my own N connections. Ni-Se however takes the reverse top-down approach hence it tends to stick on universals & absolutes in viewing & explaining reality & is personal. Ni is more demanding over Ne in terms of constricting our views w/c is indeed taxing on us Ni doms especially with relationships so I'd rather rid myself of that drama. I mean we can't really complain can't we. We're good in seeing meaning in our own little world but it's hard to Externalize that N as it seems to be especially catered only for us Ni user to see. Nah, just felt like Blasting. It's nice reading comments well thought out.
Well there's one thing for sure: I definitely don't have Ni😂 I had absolutely no idea of what he was talking about, like who tf cares about efficiency that much, I (yeah ENFP) want something original! I've learned that there are a lot of things to consider before actually having something amazing but it definitely pays off and satisfies my first function

Either that or enfp, that’s what I always assumed him to be. Watch his recent drunk champs interview and decipher whether you’re seeing dominant Ni (intj) or Dominant Ne (enfp) . ..nore brings the real Kanye out that he doesn’t often show to interviewers. As an intj I do see that being something we would do almost as if putting up a mask. But the thing is if you let him go long enough the Mask will almost ALWAYS be unveiled. Possibly infj unconcious seeping out because he’s enfp??? He gets real personal too. It doesn’t come off very intj like how personal and Fi motivated his claims come off.

Ni still have its uses. Thought it is problematic when it's wrong. Cause expectations attached to it. Maybe having a flexibility means don't use NI at all. So, flexibility equal SE, or not planning at all?

It means that De and sensory function are masculine or in the case you mentioned, Fe and Se are masculine

Actual planners know that planning isn't a one-time thing, it's an ever-evolving process that always incorporates the sensory.
