Lots of Square-Enix titles on your top. I sure hope you don't hate my initial comment against mainstream titles, haha. To be honest, KH2 is the only KH game that I've ever really liked. Roxas' story felt like a truly great addition to the game. Without it, it would have been another "meh" title for me.
Erick Landon RPG Well I know that you don't like KH,but I was surprised that FFX wasn't on there or Tales of the Abyss. The main reason why my SNES,PS1 and PS2 lists are a bit odd is because I cut a lot of games that are on my GBA,NDS,PSP,3DS and Vita lists.
i cannot bring myself to consider kh an rpg. it's an action game, not an rpg, and no matter how much they try to twist our perceptions of this, i'll never fall for it.
What a nice list. I loved Odin sphere, my first vanillaware game and I fell in love with other vanillaware games ever since. I'm so glad you mentioned Tales of Legendia!! A LOT of people ignored this game. It is on my top list of Tales of game.
It sucks so much. We're stuck with shitty open world Ubisoft games and endless live service microtransaction filled trash. The ps2 was really the last great generation for video games
@@GeraltofRivia22 hopefully, you've softened on the stance of "all games suck now, ps2 was peak gaming", in the last few years. While it's true that the overarching gaming scene has issues, there's many great games out there, some are my favorites of all time now. I'm glad that changes in gaming forced me to try different kinds of games, other than "old school turn based", and SRPGS. Had many memorable experiences thanks to that. Of course, each their own; but I don't think it's as bad as your comment stated

Kingdom Hearts 1 6. Grandia 2 7. Persona 3 8. Persona 4 9. Shadow Hearts 10. Suikoden 3 and 5 Honorable mentions would be Tales of the Abyss, Valkyrie Profile 2 and Shadow Hearts: Covenant.

Dark cloud 2 3.Grandia 2 (dreamcast is better but still love it) 2. Suikoden 5 1. Arc the lad twillight the spirits With a lot of close ones with ffx, rogue galaxy, ToL, suikoden 4, persona 3, nortune, and i could probably keep going but all this makes me remember is the ps2 had a very good rpg library which is why I'm probably going to break out my freemcboot😉
My list: 1.Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2) 2.Suikoden V 3.Star Ocean: Till the End of Time 4.Dragon Quest VIII 5.Persona 3 fes 6.Persona 4 7.Final Fantasy XII 8.Shadow Hearts: Covenant 9.Odin Sphere 10.Final Fantasy X The ps2 era was just an awesome time for jrpgs(almost as good as ps1 era)
This guy is kinda similar with me. I'm with Metal band which automatically makes me a fan of Gothic stuffs and that also includes JRPGs with Dark Fantasy settings. I'm a huge fan of Koudelka, Parasite Eve, Vagrant Story and Xenogears back in the PS1 era. For the PS2? Man, this console just has so many great JRPGs. I just couldn't decide what games are better than the others. But of course games like Digital Devil Saga, Eternal Poison, Shadow Hearts, SMT III, Persona 3 and Xenosaga are always gonna be on the top of my personal favorites.
Hack G.U. omg i love the game and the character like Haseo, Ovan, Shino, Alkaid, Endrance and many more so much memories from those three part of the game. RENGEEKII xD
And I really LOVE the G.U. games. I'm a big time dot hack fan, glad to see these mentioned on this list. So glad last recoded was released, now more people can play this series!

I like seeing people’s personal top 10. If all top 10’s were the same then there would be many gems that I wouldn’t hear of and to make my opinion of. I watch these videos to find and play games that I haven’t played yet.
My top 10 PS2 JRPGs, no particular order: Rogue Galaxy KH 1 KH 2 Radiata Stories Star Ocean TTEOT Tales of Abyss Dark Cloud 2 FFX Tales of Symphonia DQ8
Out of curiosity, what are your favourite Tales of Games? Personally I never really played one (maybe Tales of Symphonia on Gamecube) Thinking of starting with Tales of Phantasia or destiny / Eternia I just dont know...
Sam Deacon Tales of Berseria is what introduced me into the series (very late into the series, I admit). But because of Berseria, it’s made me curious to try the other Tales games. Destiny has a great story with the combat taking some getting used to. Eternia elevates the story more with the combat feeling more polished out. Can’t speak for Phantasia as of yet though.
I’ve played every game in the series. I’m a bigger fan of the 3D ones. Symphonia is considered one of the best jrpgs of all time to a lot of people and though it’s usually controversial I like dawn of the new world (it’s sequel) a lot. Xillia 1&2 are great. Tales of the abyss is long but has one of the best stories. Tales of graces has some of the best combat and a lot of the new games have based their linear motion battle system on tht one. Berseria is better than Zesteria (and it’s the prequel to it so to get the whole story you should play both)
The .Hack series in general is pretty awesome. Isekai anime have always been one of my favorite types of anime, but no anime does it better than the .Hack series.
Same happened to me with tales os legendia, even more than that, it was my first jrpg game, it holds a special place at my heart, altho later on tales of abyss became my favorite, I can't describe how good tales of legendia is (for me), it was truly magical, one of that experiences I wish I could have again
This is a good, solid list! I enjoy seeing top ten's that include good titles that are often ignored in most reckonings. I agree with you on many of your choices, although I disagree perhaps on a couple. If I were to make a top ten list of my own for PS2 rpg's (although it is difficult as there are so many good choices), it might be as follows: 10. Stella Deus 9. Wild Arms Alter Code F 8. Star Ocean 3 Till the End of Time 7. Suikoden 3 6. Eternal Poison 5. Persona 3 FES 4. SMT Digital Devil Saga 3. Growlanser 3 Dual Darkness 2. Radiata Stories 1. SMT Nocturne
My Top 10 PS2 Games: 10-Radiata Stories 9-Dark Chronicles/Dark Cloud 2 8-_Hour of Darkness 7-Final Fantasy X/X-2 6-Tales of the Abyss 5-Wild Arms 5 4-Growlanser Heritage of war 3-Persona 4 2-Suikoden V 1-Rogue Galaxy
Great list, i can’t possibly narrow my favourite PS2 JRPGs into top 10, there are just too many of them, PS2 is the best console ever for a reason, it’s game library being a big one of them. I am a bit sad that SH was only number 10 tho as SH: Covenant is my number 1 for sure :) Looking forward to more top 10s!
Can't believe Tales of Legendia was your first tales! My 1st tales I played was Symphonia. Didn't play legendia till like 12 tales games later. It is great though !
I'm glad you don't put mainstream games on your lists. Everyone has heard about and played them. Id rather have hidden gems talked about so I have new games to look into and play
Thank you. I'm not anti-mainstream or something, I just honestly picked my 10 favourites. It is a coincidence that some of them are hidden gems and some others not that mainstream. But hey, Odin Sphere and Persona 3 are there so...yeah.
@@ErickLandonRPG Right, I'm not either it's just nice to shine light on games that aren't as well known. I was thinking about getting Odin sphere for Psvita. I have Persona 3 on my vita as well I honestly forgot it was for ps2 as well considering that's the only way I've been playing it
Good question. I already have 10 books published so... perhaps it's time for a top 10? Hahahaha. Well, you're about to read a book with the antagonist as the main character, a girl that might be as hateful as the characters she wants to kill. It's definitely not a conventional book and has been both praised and criticized heavily, that means it's kind of a controversial short novel. Let me know what you think once you read it (or a review on Amazon would be much obliged).
Been a while since I played any of them, but I think this is my top ten. Some of all time favorite characters and villains are in these games. Ar tonelico straight up has one of the best boss battle songs, Misha's version of Purger, that I've ever heard. 1. Atelier Iris 2 2. Tales of Legendia 3. Mana Khemia 4. Ar tonelico 5. Suikoden 3 6. Radiata Stories 7. Wild Arms IV 8. Grandia 2 9. Tales of the Abyss 10. Dragon Quest VIII
That's a very loaded question but here goes. If you're looking for a balance of difficulty, story and gameplay I would recommend The first Digital Devil Saga game. It's not quite as brutal as Nocturne and the story is thought provoking with a twist that sets up the sequel very nicely.
Watching this video and reading through the comments I feel really nostalgic remembering all those games, but I see no mention from anyone about Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force. If you haven't played it I HIGHLY recommend it. You have to go through the game 3 times to get all the routes and the characters are great.
Its ok to put Shadowhearts and Shadowhearts Covenant on 1 Spot cause Covenant is a sequel and a prequel at the same time (Timeloop) and directly changes how you see the first Shadow Hearts. Tales of Legendia is your favorite? Did you play Tales of Berseria? I think you would like it. Dot Hack G.U. is realy good but the new PS4 Version has the 4th part included and rounds the Story up. Are you a Dot Hack Fanboy? When not i highly revomend watching the Animes and OVAs, cause they give you additional insight, i love it.
Me watching this: "You better mention VP2, You better better mention VP2...Holly shit that's what I'm talking about!" . Played alot of JRPs on my ps2 from FFX to Xenosaga but VP2 is the one I would really like to go back and play again for the first time. Amazing graphics for the ps2 (they really pushed the hardware to it's limits) and the combat was fun af once you figured out the basics. It's easily top three for me personally. The others being Dragon Quest 8 and probably Star Ocean 3. Maxxed out characters in all three lol.
I just missed so many games on the PS2 it hurts my JRPG lover pride haha, I was super into MMORPGs during the PS2 era so I have only played half of your list. The fact I never even heard of or played the Shadows Hearts series until recently is one of the main hurt pieces for me that I have to rectify soon! I really liked Tales of Legendia also and I feel a lot of the criticism it gets is unjustified as it has a lot of really good qualities that are unique to it. I think it all has to do with Tales of Symphonia and everyone wanting more games like it that Tales of Legendia got a bad name. The computer AI is kind of bad and you can't play multiplayer (not that I ever had friends who wanted to) are about the only valid points I can agree with.
Exactly. Legendia's biggest enemy was Symphonia itself; it literally overshadowed Legendia, even though, in my opinion, it's nowhere near as good as it.
Their are parts of Symphonia that are better, I think Symphonia had some of the best dungeon design of any Tales game they were all unique and interesting. The story of Legendia was on par with Symphonia in my opinion but the music and battle system were far superior in Legendia. One of Symphonia's biggest flaws for me was its battle system it was very clunky and didn't flow well.
Love the "Eternal Poison" theme music. Good tactics game. Only problem is lack of redo of levels, if you miss a chance to level in an area you might get screwed. Yeah it has a new game + mode but it kinda makes it hard to level up certain characters, even though the max lvl you can get is 30.
Nice! Though, I highly, HIGHLY recommend the Odin Sphere remake. It is so much better than the original in every way possible. Gameplay and power up/skills of of the characters really improved a lot. It is not as hard as the ps2 version, even on hard mode of course. But it is a good difficulty, not easy. And there is a newgame+very hardmode that is really awesome as well. This is a perfect game in all fronts for me: story, characters, gameplay, progression/power up, music, graphics, content, etc. It is on my top 5 games on ps4 even it being a remake lol. Oy yeah and my favorite ps2 game is SMT Nocturne for sure.
I can't wait to play Odin's remake, but I REALLY want to try it on the PS3 or 4, not on the Vita, but oh well, I'll settle for it if I take too long for the other versions.
I love shadow hearts. tied with skies of arcadia for my favorite rpg, though I know youre not a fan of skies of arcadia, but I love it. Hey Im toying around with the idea of a video that I can feature you in if you are interested. Do you have a twitter or discord?
all these games I will never get to play first hand because I was born in the 2000s and can't afford to get so many amazing ps2 games. this channel has showed me so many games that deserve a re-releases especially games from Atlus's past
@@reirei4510 rereleasing the games will make them accessible to new audiences. SMT Nocturne, Disgaea 1, Persona 4, Odin Sphere, and Dragon Quest 8 all have QoL improvements or added contents.
Interesting list. I’ll definitely have to look into some of these. On another note I appreciate you putting both Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 on the list. While Covenant is good the first gets overlooked way too much in my opinion.
oh nice one growlanser and suikoden 5. i have fun time with both game. Anyway speaking of growlanser have you played Growlanser 6 Eric? it is on PS2 too but JP only... i manage to snatch one long time ago.
@@ErickLandonRPG it kinda suck Growlanser 6 have no eng ver specially since it was entertwined directly to growlanser 5 story. I really wish that i can recommend it openly like growlasner 5 sincei have much fun with G 6 but the jp only didnt help much.
Well I won't be an ass hole hahaha. I love almost all of your game list. You have a unique taste of gaming. There are two kind of people..one that love the mainstream and one that got bored of it. And for me I love to play some new unique games and honestly I got almost all of the list from your choices. So thank you very much and please keep moving forward! 😂🙏
I do appreciate you added voice to a previous video, but man, you could have upgraded gameplay video quality too, dont you :-D, the video does not match to the epic words about them you said, Anyway, congrats, I enjoy your work, thanks for making them
Thank you and you're right, but getting gameplay footage is quite difficult sometimes. I either have to record it myself with my shitty-ass low-quality capture card (Suikoden 3, Odin Sphere and VP2 for example) or ask another UA-camr for permission to use their own. The problem is that some people just never reply and there's no way to use their high-quality gameplay unless without permission, which is why I unfortunately sometimes resort to low-quality footage. Sorry about that.
Persona 3 FES has extra content like, a hard difficulty level(P3 only has easy and normal), more costumes, more personas and a another episode called "the answer"
I would like to know what do you think about Kingdom Hearts I and II, Grandia 2, Dragon Quest VIII, if you hate this games and why, I think most people have this games in their list. Anyway I really enjoy to see that you have a different taste for games, doesn't like the more popular, because with this I can discover more new games and maybe play them.
Grandia 2 and DQ8 are great, I loved them. KH2 as well, but that's kinda the only KH I've ever beat and enjoyed, hahahaha. Not a fan of the KH series at all =/
I was putting some games away yesterday and realised I had Shadow Hearts 1 still unplayed I loved the second one but the first was always really expensive and hard to get by then but I found it at a comparative steal in a second hand shop bought it and forgot about it lol I will rectify that asap. Valkyrie profile 2 I have but I never got very far think I beat the first boss and put it down but its one I always meant to go back to and actually figure out how to play the damn thing because I had no idea how to use the battle system but it always intrigued me. No idea what my favourite PS2 RPG is I mean if you count Okami as one then its that one but I personally wouldnt call that an RPG. So many great games of all sorts on the PS2.
My own list: Star Ocean 3 Persona 3 Persona 4 Grandia 3 Suikoden III Suikoden V Tales of Legendia Tales of the Abyss Wild Arms 4 Ar Tonelico Legendia 2
9. I love Persona 3 too, because it isn't so bright as next games, but I will finish this game only when developers create Persona 3x2(In my dreams...). 8.Odin sphere is a good game, but I played on emulator and because of it, game was crashing every 30 min. 6. Most players are hating Tales of Legendia because of Shirley and the end of game (if only they make remaster with different end...). 5. Hack G.U is one of the best games, but I was annoyed by forced grinding after every round in arena.
Nice list. Mine is of course very different, as I don't like Strategy RPGs, and I also have some of the more well known titles. I would also probably have Wild Arms 3/5/both, Digital Devil Saga, Tales of the Abyss instead of Legendia, and probably also Rogue Galaxy or Dark Cloud 2. I also think you need more than stats to make an RPG, and wouldn't have Odin Sphere there, even if it's an amazing game. And while touching the subject, how about touching games that have RPG elements, but I bet you don't even consider them as RPGs? You know, all the Castlevanias, the Yakuzas, and even Zelda clones? Hell, Okami has encounter screens, with your currency calculated by your performance in battle! It's as close as you can get to an RPG without actually having any element of the genre.
First ones that come to mind when talking about games with RPG elements are, of course, the Zelda games or some of the Castlevanias post-Symphony of the Night-era.
Yes, and recently also Yakuza, which is basically Japanese themed GTA with RPG elements, and Monster Hunter, which doesn't really have level ups and permanently upgrading stats. Yeah, and also Hydlyde... except that there aren't any good Hydlyde games. How the hell did it become a franchise?! Then there are games you consider RPGs, but they're so diluted, there's hardly any traces of Final Fantasy or Baldur's Gate in them. I think a category called Modern RPGs would suit them best, as most of them try to appeal to newer audience. Pandora's Tower, NieR, Dark Souls and any other games that play like it, Final Fantasy 15, anything made by Vanillaware, and even some old games like the Ys franchise, at least until 8. From the west you can say Borderlands is here, Horizon: Zero Dawn, any game made by Supergiant, and even possibly other open world games like The WItcher 3, even though you actually make choices there. Not on a world shaping Bioware scale, but still.
Something feels lost with jrpgs since the ps2 era. I’ve been playing them for years and I think some great great games have been on the 3DS over the years (that thing is a jrpg machine) but a lot of the next gen games just feel so automated. Don’t get me wrong, I loved xenoblade 2, dragonquest XI, and Persona 5 but something just feels so off with the exploration. The snes/ps1/ps2 were just incredible times.
You’re completely right. It’s crazy how beautiful a game can be and how exciting it can look only for them all to ultimately be very…samey. There’s a lot of “natural discovery” absent. PS2 JRPGs took risks, and let you find things out on your own, ultimately making them more “true” to what an RPG adventure would really be like. Immersive, basically. And well, don’t even get me started on the trend of every JRPG lately having insane amounts of pickups leading to UI constantly being onscreen. That’s a trend I’d like them to scale back a bit.
I blame the internet for this. People now have a ton of resources to look for game guides, so spoilers and walkthroughs became a pest. I still remember buying game mags every month just for bits and pieces of information on my games. Plus, digital only games kinda killed the thrill of owning physical copies. Sleepovers carrying game controllers, some carts, and memory cards were the thing back then. These days, it's mostly online, making coop games boring af imo. Nothing beats the era of playing smash, time splitters, Mario Kart, and asking for help from a friend for that one badass boss you can't beat. Playing on the couch with friends is infinitely better than playing online.
I'm really impressed you liked Legendia. I think this Tale is the worst of the series, but I liked anyway since I am a big fan of Tales series. The combat system is not as good as the others, but the story, graphics, characters and the soundtrack (this last item is the best of all Tales series) are really amazing in my opinion. But wow man, It's a good list, really good. Of course I wouldn't choose some games, but like you said: it's based in your opinion, and I liked.
"Where is this game? On your own list" lol that's a perfect answer !
Been saying that for a while, hahaha. People just don't get all these "best of" videos are just products of the uploader's opinion. Nothing objective.
I have to agree with you on that for similar reasons, for me anyway, FF games are put on a pedestal, and past PS1, I don't think they they are very good and for me have been more of a chore to play, if I even feel like playing them at all.

The ps2 era was just an awesome time for jrpgs(almost as good as ps1 era)
Shadow heart need a comeback he remastered
I love your content. Only discovering it now!

Persona 3 is my favorite jrpg of all time

I like seeing people’s personal top 10. If all top 10’s were the same then there would be many gems that I wouldn’t hear of and to make my opinion of. I watch these videos to find and play games that I haven’t played yet.
My top 10 PS2 JRPGs, no particular order:
Rogue Galaxy
KH 1
KH 2
Radiata Stories
Star Ocean TTEOT
Tales of Abyss
Dark Cloud 2
FFX
Tales of Symphonia
DQ8
Out of curiosity, what are your favourite Tales of Games? Personally I never really played one (maybe Tales of Symphonia on Gamecube)
Thinking of starting with Tales of Phantasia or destiny / Eternia I just dont know...
Berseria is better than Zesteria (and it’s the prequel to it so to get the whole story you should play both)
FF12, SHC, DQ8, Rogue Galaxy, SO: Til the end of time, Grandia 2, KH1+2, Dark Cloud, Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits
Cool, thanks for sharing!
I always find new games on your lists, which defintely says something about your eye for catching good games. BTW congrats on the new book.
Thank you!!!
a good top ten list and brought back a few memories too
Thanks
The .Hack series in general is pretty awesome. Isekai anime have always been one of my favorite types of anime, but no anime does it better than the .Hack series.
Yup, I couldn't agree more.
Wasn't .hack one of the first isekai anime?
Same happened to me with tales os legendia, even more than that, it was my first jrpg game, it holds a special place at my heart, altho later on tales of abyss became my favorite, I can't describe how good tales of legendia is (for me), it was truly magical, one of that experiences I wish I could have again
This is a good, solid list! I enjoy seeing top ten's that include good titles that are often ignored in most reckonings. I agree with you on many of your choices, although I disagree perhaps on a couple. If I were to make a top ten list of my own for PS2 rpg's (although it is difficult as there are so many good choices), it might be as follows:
10. Stella Deus
9. Wild Arms Alter Code F
8. Star Ocean 3 Till the End of Time
7. Suikoden 3
6. Eternal Poison
5. Persona 3 FES
4. SMT Digital Devil Saga
3. Growlanser 3 Dual Darkness
2. Radiata Stories
1. SMT Nocturne
My, that's what I call a non-mainstream list, haha. Thanks for sharing!
Loved Valkyrie Profile 2 too, my second favourite PS2 RPG behind FF12.
My Top 10 PS2 Games:
10-Radiata Stories
9-Dark Chronicles/Dark Cloud 2
8-_Hour of Darkness
7-Final Fantasy X/X-2
6-Tales of the Abyss
5-Wild Arms 5
4-Growlanser Heritage of war
3-Persona 4
2-Suikoden V
1-Rogue Galaxy
Excellent list. Thanks for sharing!
Great list, i can’t possibly narrow my favourite PS2 JRPGs into top 10, there are just too many of them, PS2 is the best console ever for a reason, it’s game library being a big one of them.
I am a bit sad that SH was only number 10 tho as SH: Covenant is my number 1 for sure :)
Looking forward to more top 10s!
Thank you!
Can't believe Tales of Legendia was your first tales! My 1st tales I played was Symphonia. Didn't play legendia till like 12 tales games later. It is great though !
Never play shadow hearts but I love the see a HD remake or reboot
I've been waiting for you to do .hack!
:D
I have Persona 3 on my vita as well I honestly forgot it was for ps2 as well considering that's the only way I've been playing it
Wich opinion do you have of legaia 2 for ps2

Haha, thanks.
So many gems on ps2 that I still need to catch up on.
Yo!!!!!! VP number 1 this time!!! a great top, very much like mine, excellent video as always. Cheers my bru.
Thank you!
Hey man, I just ordered your book 7 shadows, how would you rank that book among those you wrote???
1. Atelier Iris 2
2. Tales of Legendia
3. Mana Khemia
4. Ar tonelico
5. Suikoden 3
6. Radiata Stories
7. Wild Arms IV
8. Grandia 2
9. Tales of the Abyss
10. Dragon Quest VIII
I want to play Odin Sphere, but I don't know which version is the best. PS2, PS3, PS4? Any advice would be appreciated.
PS4 remake
Erick, and everyone else- for someone whose never played a single SMT game, which of the ps2 entries would be the best to go with?
That's a very loaded question but here goes.
If you're looking for a balance of difficulty, story and gameplay I would recommend The first Digital Devil Saga game. It's not quite as brutal as Nocturne and the story is thought provoking with a twist that sets up the sequel very nicely.
Watching this video and reading through the comments I feel really nostalgic remembering all those games, but I see no mention from anyone about Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force. If you haven't played it I HIGHLY recommend it. You have to go through the game 3 times to get all the routes and the characters are great.
have you played Mana Khemia 1 & 2 ?
Yes, both, great games. 2 is my personal favourite. Such an underrated series.
For me Legaia 2 is an hidden gem.. a great battle system with a more than OK story. I played it 3 times and a still found new battle combo every time.
Did you get a chance to play the fourth .hack//G.U chapter? It was a great excuse to play through the game(s) again.
Love sassy erick!
One of Symphonia's biggest flaws for me was its battle system it was very clunky and didn't flow well.
just download a ps2 emulator
@@Vitalrose I mean this video wasn't about Hidden Gems to begin with?
Love the "Eternal Poison" theme music. Good tactics game. Only problem is lack of redo of levels, if you miss a chance to level in an area you might get screwed. Yeah it has a new game + mode but it kinda makes it hard to level up certain characters, even though the max lvl you can get is 30.
Star ocean and tales of Abyss are TOP games of ps2 too
Dude, Ergo Proxy poster in the background?! One of the best Sci-fi dystopian animes. Where did you get that poster?

Highly recommend Dragonquest and Grandia series. DQ 4 and up are great, ESPECIALLY DRAGON QUEST 7!! xD
Is dragon quest 8 worth playing on my ps2?
Have you played tales of the world for PSP it's my favorite Tales of game mainly because of its replayability and character customisation
Hey, man. Yes, I'm interested :) I don't have a Twitter or Discord but I have a Facebook and a Blog!
I thought SoA isn't really available on PS2.
How about Shadow hearts: from the new world? because it's one of my recent games, i just started the search for the third spirit but i like it so far
all these games I will never get to play first hand because I was born in the 2000s and can't afford to get so many amazing ps2 games. this channel has showed me so many games that deserve a re-releases especially games from Atlus's past
You can get pcsx2, a ps2 emulator on pc.
@@reirei4510 rereleasing the games will make them accessible to new audiences. SMT Nocturne, Disgaea 1, Persona 4, Odin Sphere, and Dragon Quest 8 all have QoL improvements or added contents.
Good work. Love your content.
Thank you!
Interesting list. I’ll definitely have to look into some of these. On another note I appreciate you putting both Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 on the list. While Covenant is good the first gets overlooked way too much in my opinion.
Thank you.
Plan to pick up Legendia since my local shop can special order games for you. I also just adore G.U.
Well, definitely agree with #1!
oh nice one growlanser and suikoden 5. i have fun time with both game. Anyway speaking of growlanser have you played Growlanser 6 Eric? it is on PS2 too but JP only... i manage to snatch one long time ago.

Thank you!!
Dragon quest 8 is easily the best one in my opinion.
Valkyrie profile 2 silmeria is close second.
Do you recommend a good ps2 pc emulator?

What different persona 3 fes and persona 3 (without fes)??
Persona 3 FES has extra content like, a hard difficulty level(P3 only has easy and normal), more costumes, more personas and a another episode called "the answer"

Same here Fan of Shin megami tensei franchise Finished Persona 1-3 And still finishing persona 4 golden time Too bad i cant play P5
Suikoden 5,and Growlanser is just masterpieces that never will meet worthy apponent
I'll have to agree with you on this. Something def feels lost. I big reason why I went to school for game development lol.
Thanks!
Persona 3&4, Suikoden series, grandia series and many more
