I have the same vehicle and my original Delco battery finally died. 7 years is not bad but is also not that great. My Yukon is not my daily driver, so I keep a battery tender on it when it's setting in the garage. I was surprised the battery died like it did. Like everything thing else in this cycle of extremely bad leadership in America, prices on everything have really went up. I am sure a new battery will be over 200 dollars. Oh well, got to have one regardless how much it's cost. Thanks for sharing your battery removal video.

I agree the battery removal is super tight! I was able to remove the 10mm bolt from the one side of of the reservoir and that was just enough to turn the battery side ways to get it. My OEM Delco battery lasted 6 years but I opted to go w/ a Diehard Gold. Better CCA and just a better battery in general over OEM.

Thanks for the video. It helped to move the things in order. Just one comment, no need to remove the reservoir cooler on my end. I just removed one screw near the battery side which allows it to move a little backwards. Then turn and lift the battery counter clockwise while lifting and some arm muscles 💪..... Tada!! Battery is out.

i was able to get battery out without removing the other part but not until i flipped it on its side. once everything is removed from the battery, flip it on its side and then you can maneuver it out.

Thanks buddy. So with mine I got it out without removing reservoir. I tool out the one bolt to that metal bracket. And slipped out. And also my handle was one to on mine. They must remove to get that shit on top. Dunno

Have same vehicle....what a hassle. Those GM engineers are experts at making things last a little longer than the warranty to keep from paying for another one. They should have put same effort in quality.

Terrible camera work. Most of the work done was off camera
