I wanted to really thank you Jeremy for all your contents. I've finally passed my CCNA today after 6 months of study. And the main courses that I followed were first your course and Neil Anderson's. I'll keep follow your work because i always have something to learn from your videos. And as a non native english speaker, i find that the way you teaching is very understandable and accessible for everyone.
    Thanks Sir !

Anyone know why Cisco uses the term 'trap' as part of syslog configuration? So far as network protocols go, I've only ever seen it used in SNMP. Is Cisco using it in a more generic programming context, or did someone just screw up the command terminology a long time ago and now we're stuck with it? It seems pretty confusing to me, but I can't find anybody else talking about it.

Okay. There are some ios versions that do not support these commands. For example, "logging console 6" (level 6), or any levels are not recognized. Instead simply entering "logging console" will be recognized. It's nice to train students for exams, but it should also be articulated as to what happens in a real-world environment.
