I'm actually taking a CCNA course at my college. Only reason I'm passing it right now is this online class- thank you jeremy. Seriously, it's been a godsend.
I wished I knew about Jeremy's youtube course sooner in University. It's funny how networking was my most hated subject there (because of the same horrible instructor), but now it's my favorite! Even got the CCST Networking certification (CCENT replacement) before starting Jeremy's course.
The course isn't finished yet. However, I don't think any 1 source is enough to prepare you for most IT certs. Usually a video series, a book, then some sort of practice exam to find your weak points is the common path most people take.
Ah, finally at this point of course (finishing 42 Days) I can able to understand what is the meaning of commands that all people do with a title called "Basic Switch Configuration" like - no ip domain-lookup - management ip for L2 switch - password for console and vty lines (especially login and login local commands)
This course is a huge help. Even after buying a book/ebook study package, your videos really help solidify my understanding and fill the gaps with what I can't seem to get from my other sources. Great work.

a network admin using pc1 is remotely configrung sw1 by connecting to the cli of sw1 via ssh. what is the role of sw1 in this situ? a. ssh peer b. ssh server c. ssh client d. none of the above just bear in mind that servers accept connections/receive requests, while clients make requests/access resources on servers. so it's clear that sw1 plays teh role of the server (accept connections/ receive requests) while pc1 is actively seeking a resource hosted in anotehr device.

Its so silly to me that certain countries including the US try to restrict encryption technologies. Yeah, you're going to have a heck of a time trying to prevent people from running basic encryption protocols and an even harder time trying to build secure networks without encryption.

if you have 2 switches does that mean that you would configure ssh on both or just one is okay as you can connect to other devices from that switch
