I have no clue how to do that attack from the air around 4:10. The first one looks like a shell, but then after the full burst horizontal thing is new to me.
Hey there, Canta. I have a question about Normal Gunlance gameplay. I already asked Arekkz and GaijinHunter, but I doubt they'll give me an answer before release, so I figured I'll just ask the most competent source I know of (I'm not brownnosing, I swear!) or their other regular viewers. So basically, about the full burst combo with normal shelling. People keep telling me to just use it over and over again, but I find that impractical, especially against faster enemies. Should I, like, do it anyway and risk getting hit in exchange for a full burst, or should I use pokes and swipes until a window of opportunity (long enemy animation, stagger, stun, etc.) presents itself to me? I know that speedrunners tend to just spam it (in most cases), but naturally their gameplay is way more optimized than mine, and I'm not sure if those rules apply to more casual gameplay, as well.
I was wondering whether the aerial burst returned - can't remember if I managed to pull it off in the first demo. It's interesting that you can combo the wirebug slam with a midair shell, so I wonder if other weapons have similar ways to do that
