About the Switcher Jewel, should I invest in upgrading the rampage slot for this? RN I'm using a build from the website game8 with the chaos magala switchaxe, and this does not have a big enough rampage slot. I've never played a MH game before and just picked up Rise+Sunbreak with my friends. I decided to go with the switch axe because it reminds me of the trick weapons from bloodborne, but I had no clue how it works as the game tells you next to nothing and deciphering information from reddit posts is a chore. This channel is a Switch Axe bible! Picking up MhR + S on the steam deck recently and I haven't played MH in years. You got me up to speed and the switch axe is more fun the ever before.
That ZSD on Narwa’s head when she was way up in the air was so cool! The switch axe in Rise is so fun, i’ve been playing Iceborne lately and I fought Alatreon with switch axe and had a lot of fun, but it’s even better in Rise. This weapon is better than it ever has been. Great video ! I definitely learned some things
Thank you!! Really appreciate it. I'd have to agree, shifting the best attacks to be morph attacks forces SA to actually have to use both modes somewhat evenly. This side effect in my opinion has successfully corrected one of the worst issues with SA which is the "use sword as much as possible". Combined with adding fantastic defensive options making SA's greatest weaknesses into strengths.
@@AifritGaming Exactly it really is awesome, that was my biggest issue with it when I was using it in W/IB, I often felt overly reliant on mantles or had to wait until end game to be able to fit in enough evade window to be able to play the weapon comfortably without sacrificing damage. Now that they’ve given us defensive options and incredible morph attacks and silkbinds it is way better. I can’t wait to see what they have cooked up for us in the next game.
I do have one piece of advice for maintaining phial gauge. While mid air, the standard loading animation is much faster than the standing one and usually finishes when you hit the ground, depending on how high you were. If in a pinch or to avoid attacks I will use a wire bug to go up and come down loading and it reloads a huge chunk of the gauge

When Sunbreak dropped, I switched from CB to Swaxe and absolutely fell in love with it. Watching this video reaffirmed the combos that I was doing but also helped me get back to basics and even learning some useful tips and techs about Swaxe I did not know. This is a great video
Such a good video. There was no updated switch axe guide with combos I could find that was newer than a year ago. I'll try doing more of the combos you suggested to build the amp. Just was getting discouraged about not keeping amp state up because of finicky monster movement in mp and no chances to counter; kinda just monster-specific, which makes sense some weapons aren't as good as others depending on the monster. I still stand by how eaaaasy bowguns are compared to any melee weapon haha.
Thanks! Yeah, if you're running element or exhaust those combos should do well for you. You can also do the heavy axe slam ahead of amping interactions to make the most of those opportunities as well. Maybe tack on power prolonger. Multiplayer is such a different beast because countering isn't really viable.
Hmm... Was considering picking up Switch Axe in Rise, but looking at this, playing it in a "Use the sword as main/only use morph attacks" being the objectively best way by far, I understand this weapon is (no longer) for me. I enjoyed using it a lot in 3U and 4U, as axe main, and then only using sword mode to "get rid" of the phial charge. That said, this is a super informative and really well thought out guide! Would love to see you do more guides for more weapons!
Excellent guide! Additional info: after a Soaring wyvern blade if you do a morph attack while the explosion goes off it increases the explosion's damage (likely a bugged interaction with Rapid morph)
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it's fenomenal! I've watched it at least a dozen times. I've been jumping between different chapters and practicing on the toadversary all the combos and switch skills you cover. I'm getting there. The switch axe's so fun to use, and learning it alongside your tutorial's been nothing but a pleasure.
Absolutely top notch quality guide! I wish all other weapon guides I've watched so far are like yours. I'm not interested in constant jokes, completely skipping important sections like attacks & combos, or ignore everything from Rise and only focus on Sunbreak. Plus all your recommendations and careful analysis are just extremely helpful! Thanks so much for such an informative and amazing video!
I unintentionally made switch axe my main weapon in rise. I was playing it for so long after making a random build for a monster I don't even remember and found myself winning my hardest fights thanks to it.
I'm at mr 125 right now and wanting to switch it up to a new weapon. I decided to take the plunge into switch axe for the first time despite playing since 4u, so this video couldn't be more perfectly timed. Thanks so much!
Singe overhead/diagonal pokes in sword mode good when you want to deal a bit of damage but unsure about what monster is about to do and don't want to risk, because they can be instantly followed up by hop. They chain sequence can be delayed, so instead simply pressing top face button as fast as possible you tap in once, wait a bit and then do either a next poke or hop depending of the situation. This usually means that you gonna to i-frame incoming attack so it's worth noting about evade window skill because hops has lesser i-frames than a regular roll.
Great vid! I've been playing SA since the start of rise and there's a good amount of info that I didn't know about, especially with all the armor skills. Super glad to have found your channel, keep up the good work!
I find it cool that when you combine the Amped Discharged attack with Blood Rite, you basically heal any damage that you take while performing the attack, if you're on a broken monster part, of course.
I’m so impressed with how easy it was to follow your guide and information. Been watching a lot of videos on MH and yours was the best by far. Thank you and will be recommending your channel to my friends.
Thanks for this guide. I main insect glaive but there are just monsters that i really need a blunt weapon for easier hunts, so i went for switch axe and this just made me more interested in the game 😍😍
Ah Switchaxe, the amalgamation of 4 weapons, hunting horn, greatsword, longsword and bow. Hunting horn in Axe mode, Greatsword movement speed, Longsword fluidity in Sword mode and Bow vial system.
Will give this a watch as I'm doing switch axe now and considering insect glaive, though i haven't been using soaring wyvern at all. I prefer to stay grounded.
I don’t usually comment on youtube, but definitely had to. This video is amazing, although I didn’t really memorize all the combos; but it really shows that you put so much time and effort into explaining this amazing weapon :) thank you ❤️
Just recently got into Rise after being a Switchaxe main in World, only to realize I was using the weapon wrong during all my initial hunts! I was used to trying to stay in sword mode all the time, chaining left/right swipes and a finisher double slash to dish out damage, only to find out the morph attacks are the way to go in this game.
my sidenotes as a fello swaxe main 1:30 fade slash and the alternative to the double morphing slash you can do while holding back on the stick, and the normal forward morph attack are your best friends here, they move you a lot, don't sleep on those, take it from a dude who forgot about them for like 800 hours and struggled a lot because of this 3:42 thankfully elemental burst counter made amp buildup almost irrelevant, thank god, really 5:10 small correction, is not guaranteed that you'll latch on the exact part you hit, is actually fairly inconsistent from my experience.... like "i purposefully thrusted in the head and latched to the tail as a pesudo counter move against an incoming attack multiple times" level of inconsistent. i would say you get the feeling of twhere you will latch fairly quickly, but it's not always going to be where the thrust connected 7:15 on top of that (don't quote me on that) should benefit from rapid morph since you constantly go back and forth with sword and axe, and gives you a healthy chunk of amped gauge 8:55 can't live without anymore, easy 30 raw from adrenaline rush and.... nani? kansei dorifto vibes, also scales with evade extender (and window) for truly hilarious drifting moments 10:15 be careful with the counter, only the first hit gets countered and you have hyper armor from there to the end of the animation, which may lead you to take an eventual followup in the face 13:45 imho the heavy slam was never really worth, especially now with all the sunbreak tools, we can already charge amped mode really fast with the 2 staged morph combo if not istantly with the counter 21:21 funnily enough, if my eye balled math is not mistaken, is even better than element exploit since you get the 45% more element on the double morphing slash always instead of the... was it 5 or 10%? everywhere IF the hitzone is high enough 22:00 let's just say is straight up wrong, crits being bad is a true statement only if you exclusively spam the zero sum discharge and the soarign wyvern blade, which in sunbreak endgame is basically not really an option since the hyper armor will get you killed in the blink of an eye, sure you can do a couple of those if the monster is down or tired or whatever, but it's not a safe option in the slightest, not to mention, morph attacks are probably a superior choice for dps since a build centered around them still is very likely to get attack boost 7 anyways, which greatly improves the scaling of the 20% from rapid morph AND the 40% from a critical hit, and everyone is multiplicative with each other 24:00 is important to point out that wind mantle 3 fully up is roughly the same as wirebugh whisperer 3, so use wind mantle only on top of wirebug whisperer and never instead, if you need the extra boost, i found level 1 is more than enough personally, but if it shows up as a decoration i can see running level 3 without a big sacrifice being possible
Wow thanks for the detailed comment! 1. Yeah, starting to use the quick morph attacks as movement and positioning changed everything for me. 2. Yeah, ebc had such a huge impact for SA in sunbreak 3. ZSD thrust has weird logic on the hitbox connecting for sure. 4. Yes, you are correct however it only affects the opposite weapon part of the attack. So sword part of stage 1 and axe parts of stage 2. 5. Yeah same, wire step is stapled in for me at this point. 6. Images of countering first hit of valstrax beam comes to mind haha! Absolutely vaporized. 7. I think as you become proficient enough with the weapon I would agree about heavy axe slam. But not a bad option for kind of "training wheels" early on learning SA and perhaps the multiplayer issues of monster focus. 8.Tricky here.. Definitive math is generally hard to say because SA has all these attacks that have different multipliers along with phial bursts. We can come up with rough estimates that are probably true within some % degrees of error hunt to hunt. I'd say the bigger factor is the opportunity to always be able to do the RR loop with phial gauge being trivialized. 2 stage is ~20% weaker than RR loop iirc so it is a big deal if you have to 2 stage for phial gauge even if you are already amped. Plus PSB elevates the chain morph attack combo to being the 2nd strongest SA combo. 9. Yeah, I'm working on something to hopefully put this in the grave finally. 10. Interesting, yeah I would love wind mantle decos then!
Heya! Fellow SA enjoyer here. I would just like to add that if you want to do damage consistently you should also consider the arc of your weapon. For example, when a rathian is struggling on the ground, it might not be the best idea to perform the heavensword flurry and 2-stage morph slash considering where the morph attack will land. If you need precision feel free to stick to sword mode as it is more precise about where your attacks land. So instead of hitting your most damaging axe hit on a hard spot and landing 100 damage, you can stick to sword mode and deal 135 damage on a weak spot. I've actually encountered this issue a bit, so please don't worry about being stuck to one combo only. But hey this might not even be an issue for you if you are better at positioning than me. Just to let you know though, you never know when a piece of information can become useful.
Absolutely! There's definitely some subjectivity as the combos can be inaccurate based on the situation. Thanks, throwing some sword hits when I need to be a bit more accurate is helpful!
Many thanks for the guide! Heading towards the endgame of Sunbreak and i am having fun with the Switch Axe. Glad to have stumbled upon your video as it made me notice a lot of flaws in my attack patterns and habits! Great and informative guide, I do hope to see more content from you for anything Monster Hunter Related. Cheers!
Ah good catch! I forgot that. Yes that's the way to go after the soaring wyvern blade. There is also a strange interaction where if you instead do a hop as soon as possible and then do the morph slash the SWB phial burst gets affected by rapid morph. Basically if you do a morph attack around the time the phial burst explodes.
"The zero sum discharge will latch you onto the monster part you hit with your stab" Or, you know, when you stab the tail of a Zinogre it'll magically transport your character to one of its front legs.
I liked the switch axe in world but never really got good with it. Picked it up again in rise to expand my gameplay a bit (hardcore SnS main) and couldn't really do much with it. The evade extender was the answer to my problems. Thank you for that! Also, great video! Its so in-depth and it's perfect for someone like me.
Coming back to this video again to say I am now a Switch Axe main, and my SnS is now a secondary. I've switched things up a little on the attacks and Switch Skills to find a good fit for my play style. I've found that the Invincible Gambit, while low on damage is great for avoiding attacks while counterattacking and it's amazing for breaking parts. And the forward overhead slash is amazing for approach swings, especially after a big attack when the monster tends to stay out a few moments or roar. I feel like I'm a much better Swaxe player than I ever was with SnS and I'm having so much more fun with the game.
As someone who started with World, dumped about 1,200 hours into it playing mostly Switch Axe before dropping the game for Rise/Sunbreak, I give this video a big thumbs up 👍 Over the past month, I’ve almost completely made the switch (no pun intended) to raw swaxe, mostly due to the mechanics of Valstrax’s hitzones changing during the hunt. And in doing so, I’ve found success in swapping the Sharp +4 jewel out for a Polisher Pro +4. Just having point of Protective Polish instead of two really feels like the sweet spot in maintaining the Grinder(S) buff while also not having purple for too long before being able to sharpen again. It does a *lot* of damage, and it puts a smile on my face having been able to figure that all out on my own
Thanks! Very interesting on the grinder (s).. Are you using the ibushi switch axe? The damage numbers are pretty huge with a multiplier like grinder (s). Reminds me I want to get around to trying out the lucent one and also stack buildup boost hah.
@@AifritGaming I’ve actually been swapping between the Scorned Magna and Reconqueress Switch Axes, and will eventually acquire the one on the Lucent Narga tree so I can choose based on which status each monster is weak to. However, for the Reconqueress, I actually don’t use Grinder(S) because it has too much white sharpness and requires too much Handicraft for purple. I’m sure there’s a way of working that out though, but the way I use Grinder(S) on Switch Axe, which is with minimal to no sharpness management, I don’t think I’ll be the one to figure it out 😅 Last thing I can think of bringing up for raw Swaxe is to try and augment armor skills for Buildup Boost. Though, that may go without saying. Lol
I really needed a video like this. Switch Axe one of my three (possibly four ad I'm enjoying bow once again) favorite weapons in Monster Hunter and after a lot of Gunlance, I'm looking to get build for other weapons and tackle the challenge quests with all of them. P.S: Yeah, just the focus on Morph attacks and Switch Skills made this weapon play a lot different than World
Evade extender 3 is crazy useful in multiplayer hunts imo especially in a party with randos using mainly range weapons as they'll be kitting the monster most of the time and depending on how good they are, I'll be playing tag with the monster but I'm the one chasing so more mobility always helps.
It’s not as necessary in this game as opposed to Tri Ultimate for example, then the triple slash combo was the best combo and power phial was busted. Staying in sword mode without needing to sheathe was amazing, nowadays with morph attacks taking the spotlight it might have lost some of its shine but I still find it essential. Great guide!
Wow, so much information I'm gonna have to rewatch and practice at least 5 times probably. Really felt like I needed Word open and to be taking notes. Cheers!
As a Hunter who's versed in SnS/GL/HH/LBG/GS, I find it hard to approach and move with the SA. I'll just keep watching and coming back to this video until I get it right. I'm already at the end of SB's life on console but I told myself I wanted to learn SA on the way out.
Amazing video I particularly liked how you went over things a few times and then came back to different things it really helped to learn and build a better picture of what i should be doing, i fully understood everything by the end thank you so much!! : )
What a great tutorial! You really covered everything possible. I would like to give constructive feedback, but there ain't much to say when it's just perfect so I'll leave you with digital applause!
I had played most of the weapons in base game but almost exclusively played longsword in SB til now. Still getting the loops down but the shear amount of damage exhaust puts out is pretty absurd

By far the most comprehensive guide on SA I've ever seen. thank you, well done!
In terms of completeness (and completeness alone), one of the best if not the best weapon mechanics guide I've seen so far.
Thank you!!
Thanks so much for such an informative and amazing video!
best weapon guide i've seen in all my years of playing monhun
Wow thank you!!
I unintentionally made switch axe my main weapon in rise. I was playing it for so long after making a random build for a monster I don't even remember and found myself winning my hardest fights thanks to it.
Hahah, that's awesome!
@@AifritGaming As was your video! It was extremely helpful!
@@JarvisBaileyVA Very happy to hear that thank you!!!
This guide is phenomenal, played a few hundred hours in Rise/SB with SA exclusively and still really enjoyed and learned a lot.
Thank you!! Really appreciate the positive feedback!
I'm at mr 125 right now and wanting to switch it up to a new weapon. I decided to take the plunge into switch axe for the first time despite playing since 4u, so this video couldn't be more perfectly timed. Thanks so much!
Very happy this was timely and helpful! Good luck on your switch axe journey!
Thanks!
WOW! I'm speechless, thank you so much!
I’ve been looking for a good SA guide since I bought the game last year and this is the first guide that motivates me to play it. Thanks for the guide
Glad I could help!
just getting started into SwAxe and this has been really helpful compared to some other guides I have already watched!
Really glad to hear it! Hope things go well!
3:26 I am too old to be laughing this much at a random sound. 😂
this is by far the most useful guide on switch axes ive seen even though i dont have sunbreak. great job
Thank you thank you!
Great vid! I've been playing SA since the start of rise and there's a good amount of info that I didn't know about, especially with all the armor skills. Super glad to have found your channel, keep up the good work!
Thank you! Really appreciate it and happy to hear it was still helpful!
Amazing video has given me the confidence to try this out after being a GS main in MHW
prob the best switch axe guide out there. even a switch axe main like me learned some new things. keep the good work up!
Happy to hear it was useful even for you! Thanks!
Hey thank you! Really appreciate the kindness here. Happy to hear the videos work as intended!
Amazing guide. It was clear, concise, chill and super useful. Probably the best mh weapon guide I've seen. Thanks so much!
Too kind! Very happy it's useful for you, thank you!
Thanks for this guide. I main insect glaive but there are just monsters that i really need a blunt weapon for easier hunts, so i went for switch axe and this just made me more interested in the game 😍😍
Normally I never comment for UA-cam vids but this is a perfect video for Swaxe and best I could ever find. Thanks!
Wow! Thanks for the comment and feedback!
Getting back into Rise, and this is hands down the best SA guide I've watched. Thanks brotha!
Thank you! Welcome back!
Best switch axe tutorial video in UA-cam
I'm going to study this later.thank you for your work.
I'm new to SA and this is easily the best guide. Covered all my questions too. Thanks a lot!
Thank you!! Always really happy to hear this video was effective! Good luck on the Switch Axe journey!
This is seriously so good, I'll be referring to your guide for weeks to come.
Thank you!! Love hearing that it’s helpful!
Absolutely lovely guide right here and all in one video, nice one!
Thank you!! Appreciate the comment and feedback!
There are so many things I didn't know about the SA. I really appreciate all ur hard work and commitment, This is an incredible video👍👍👍
I just came here to learn about swag axe more due to Primordial Malzeno and THANK YOU am gonna make a build when I unlock Valstrax.
my sidenotes as a fello swaxe main
1:30 fade slash and the alternative to the double morphing slash you can do while holding back on the stick, and the normal forward morph attack are your best friends here, they move you a lot, don't sleep on those, take it from a dude who forgot about them for like 800 hours and struggled a lot because of this
3:42 thankfully elemental burst counter made amp buildup almost irrelevant, thank god, really
5:10 small correction, is not guaranteed that you'll latch on the exact part you hit, is actually fairly inconsistent from my experience.... like "i purposefully thrusted in the head and latched to the tail as a pesudo counter move against an incoming attack multiple times" level of inconsistent. i would say you get the feeling of twhere you will latch fairly quickly, but it's not always going to be where the thrust connected
7:15 on top of that (don't quote me on that) should benefit from rapid morph since you constantly go back and forth with sword and axe, and gives you a healthy chunk of amped gauge
8:55 can't live without anymore, easy 30 raw from adrenaline rush and.... nani? kansei dorifto vibes, also scales with evade extender (and window) for truly hilarious drifting moments
10:15 be careful with the counter, only the first hit gets countered and you have hyper armor from there to the end of the animation, which may lead you to take an eventual followup in the face
13:45 imho the heavy slam was never really worth, especially now with all the sunbreak tools, we can already charge amped mode really fast with the 2 staged morph combo if not istantly with the counter
21:21 funnily enough, if my eye balled math is not mistaken, is even better than element exploit since you get the 45% more element on the double morphing slash always instead of the... was it 5 or 10%? everywhere IF the hitzone is high enough
22:00 let's just say is straight up wrong, crits being bad is a true statement only if you exclusively spam the zero sum discharge and the soarign wyvern blade, which in sunbreak endgame is basically not really an option since the hyper armor will get you killed in the blink of an eye, sure you can do a couple of those if the monster is down or tired or whatever, but it's not a safe option in the slightest, not to mention, morph attacks are probably a superior choice for dps since a build centered around them still is very likely to get attack boost 7 anyways, which greatly improves the scaling of the 20% from rapid morph AND the 40% from a critical hit, and everyone is multiplicative with each other
24:00 is important to point out that wind mantle 3 fully up is roughly the same as wirebugh whisperer 3, so use wind mantle only on top of wirebug whisperer and never instead, if you need the extra boost, i found level 1 is more than enough personally, but if it shows up as a decoration i can see running level 3 without a big sacrifice being possible
Wow thanks for the detailed comment!
1. Yeah, starting to use the quick morph attacks as movement and positioning changed everything for me.
2. Yeah, ebc had such a huge impact for SA in sunbreak

4 i see, weird
I know a swag axe main when I see one. 🔥 You are extremely effective with this weapon, my man. I appreciate the tips for sure. Such a fun weapon.
Haha, thank you! Yeah I didn't expect so much out of SA. Weapon just kept on giving!
Thanks, throwing some sword hits when I need to be a bit more accurate is helpful!
but my muscle memory says otherwise😅
I will have to look at this a few more times but that should be enough information to get good with the switch axe
Great video my friend - keep up the good work. As a SA main I am loving your videos!
Thank you! Happy to hear my videos are providing value to you!
Cheers!
Hey thank you!! Really appreciate the comment. Happy to hear it was helpful to you!
This is theraputic to watch at work while just starting to get into playing Rise
Haha hope you enjoy the game!
@@AifritGaming so far living it compared to world and generations
the madman did it
It only took 4 million years!
something worth mentioning is that you cancel soaring wyvern blade end animation my mashing to go into a morph slash
"The zero sum discharge will latch you onto the monster part you hit with your stab"
Or, you know, when you stab the tail of a Zinogre it'll magically transport your character to one of its front legs.
Thank you!! Happy to hear this helped you find your answer!
Love this! Really happy to hear you’ve found your way. SA is very special in this game. Weapon keeps on giving the more time you put into it.
Super underrated video, I just got back into MHR so this video was hugely helpful, tysm!
Thank you and welcome back!
This is such a good guide, thanks for putting it together for switch noobs like me
Thanks!! Very pleased to hear it was as helpful as I wanted it to be!
Man you explained switchaxe so good almost converted me almost lol
Hah! Ah so close!! Thanks!
This was great! Swaxe is my main in Rise, but i still learned a lot! Thanks for making this!
Thanks! Glad it still helped!
As someone who started with World, dumped about 1,200 hours into it playing mostly Switch Axe before dropping the game for Rise/Sunbreak, I give this video a big thumbs up 👍
Over the past month, I’ve almost completely made the switch (no pun intended) to raw swaxe, mostly due to the mechanics of Valstrax’s hitzones changing during the hunt.
I’m sure there’s a way of working that out though, but the way I use Grinder(S) on Switch Axe, which is with minimal to no sharpness management, I don’t think I’ll be the one to figure it out 😅
Last thing I can think of bringing up for raw Swaxe is to try and augment armor skills for Buildup Boost.
That's a great point, I didn't think of that! Chasing the monster around is pretty tedious especially if you're with a bunch of gunners.
Great guide! Im a SA main but this taught me a few details I didnt know, thanks a lot!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
Literally the reason I picked up Switch Axe is because Zero Sum Discharge looks so cool.
Ill be back to edit more once on my PC.
But WOW could not recommend this video more.
Thank you for the live of my favorite weapon.
Thanks!! Really appreciate it!
I just picked up switch axe after failing miserably with long sword, this video can't have arrived at a better time for me
Happy to hear it! Hope it works well for you!
Wow, so much information I'm gonna have to rewatch and practice at least 5 times probably. Really felt like I needed Word open and to be taking notes. Cheers!
Haha, thank you! Happy to hear it's helpful!
This is simply and enormously amazing guide. Well done 💙

This is the best guid out there for sure. I don’t watch a ton of MHR vids, but I’m still subscribing.
I appreciate that thank you!!
This video is about to take my SA game from beloved hobby to Obsessive perfection! Great Vid :)
This is the best SwitchAxe guide I have ever seen. New Sub and Like for sure. Great job!
Thank you!!
As a Hunter who's versed in SnS/GL/HH/LBG/GS, I find it hard to approach and move with the SA. I'll just keep watching and coming back to this video until I get it right.
I'm already at the end of SB's life on console but I told myself I wanted to learn SA on the way out.
This video is gold, good job man
Man you deserve a sub im in love with switch because of you. great stuff

Thank you!! Glad to hear that, I wasn't sure if I was being a bit repetitive at times!
aaww man i love evade extender 3 xD with switchaxe and rapidmorph i feel like a walking blender

Wow thank you! Really appreciate it!
You are amazing and a freaking God send for me (new player) I hope you continue to help me and others out with more vids!!!!
Thank you!! Happy to hear it, channel definitely will continue on!
I had played most of the weapons in base game but almost exclusively played longsword in SB til now. Still getting the loops down but the shear amount of damage exhaust puts out is pretty absurd
