I used to bring my daughter up here to wander around when she was a toddler. Even though we weren't members, they never gave us any trouble. The houses on the left were so beautiful and interesting to look at. It was such a peaceful place.
I lived in the second house on the left during the entire decade of the 90s. It was built in 1925. There was the best grapefruit tree in the backyard, and my kitty, Lilly, is buried in the backyard. The man who lived next door worked at JPL and during the summer he would bring out an industrial telescope and we would spend evenings with neighbors looking at the stars and eating potluck. This tragedy is overwhelmingly heart-crushing.

My husband worked in Altadena Town and Country, some of his coworkers whom lived in the area were also affected by the fires, so shocking, also many more like him lost their jobs due to this tragedy😢
The second house of left side at the entrance I used to cleaned it. And the white van belongs to the pleople who I cleaned. So sad. God Bless all this persons😢
May God have mercy on all humans. We all must pray for peace and justice in the world. No one should lose their home and life. But remember what we did to children in Ghaza who were in hospitals
from the video, it looked as if the building may have survived, since there wasn't smoke coming out of the windows or flames. The surounding area, however is gone. Heartbreaking. I got married there, too.
@tillrichterdrums I was married there & lived on Country Club Lane a few doors down. We had a joyful mini procession down the street to the club for the ceremony.
All I know bro is that we have a housing crisis and a homeless crisis, and when we need places to build shelters to get bums off the beaches and riverbeds absolutely all of these communities say not in my backyard. Well, your backyard just burned down.
Homeless encampment for a couple of them. Some are arson since they’ve caught a couple people. They’re usually from downed power lines but SCE cut power before the winds got bad
no. I lived on that lane just west of the Country Club, walked from the house to the Country Club for my wedding, got married there. That was definitely Altadena Towne and Country Club.

Prayers out to everyone affected by this. So sad 😢
Fascinating video shots, but made me very anxious! Would NOT have wanted to be there!

My old neighborhood I kept safe and secured! I was Altadena town and country club’s head of security from 2006 to 2015
I used to work there as security. This is unbelievable. 🙏
I lived right across the street from the Altadena Golf Course. I used to walk through the parking lot from Mendocino to my street Morada Pl.
This is crazy. It seems like every year a town burns down.
What kind of vehicle can drive through those conditions? What are the tires made of?
Yes i agree with you.

We are members, as far as we can tell the country club has been leveled
Yeah it’s gone unfortunately

I can believe that that's all you know.
How did this whole thing get started? Live wire fire, campers, lightning, jewish space lasers?
