The motorhomes looks so nice and very comfy to live in. Maybe I chance from my littel tent to a nice motorhome. So much space and all you need ❤❤❤

Wow some beautiful vans there!! Some have great features, think if we ever changed we would go with a van rather than a motorhome. Thanks for showing us
So would we now I think. We were going for a van originally and in a couple of years we will probably look at changing down for more manoeuvrability despite less space!
Thank you, Dave. It was a good exhibition. The Mercedes was nice, but for that price you could buy a house in Bedfordshire or 25,898 pies in Lochinver. Nice motorhomes.
😃😃😃. Totally crazy prices Serge. £180 thousand and we bumped into a guy who bought one nine months ago and it’s been out of action for six months as the engine isn’t fit to pull a five ton Motorhome!

Very nice rigs. Lots of choices to be made. The amount of items the booths had in yesterday's video would get me in trouble lol. A very nice show. Elongated was one of my favourite bands when I was a teenager. Have a great weekend Dave and Sue

Crazy isn’t it mate
Bumped into a guy who said he has one! Had it for nine months - been off the road for six. He’s been told by an engineer that the engine isn’t fit for purpose. Too small on that 5.0 ton motorhome 🙄. 180 grand!!!!
Well done Dave, at least you got the Bedfordshire county flag flying above whatever that other thing was😁

Hello Dave and Sue, enjoyed looking around the vans, but the Carthargo was amazing but a little over our budget ha ha , do like the Autosleeper Burford always think they are made very well. The IH motorhomes are very nice aren't they. Think we will have one of each 😉 Enjoy the evenings entertainment. Take care x Julie and Tony x
Ha ha is too Julie. We bumped into a guy who owned that model of Cathargo. He had it from new nine months ago. It’s been off the road for six months!! Major engine problems apparently! They reckon that engine isn’t fit to pull five tons - so I think we will stick to ours too 😃😃😃

The Aztec was a good van - we had looked at one of those a couple of years back. We will maybe look to downsize from Florrie when (hopefully) I hit 70.

Wow… I absolutely loved going to RV Shows & Conversations. We would arrive in the morning, and would walk around and mark on our map the RVs we were most interested in seeing, and those are the ones we would visit and inspect first, then hit as many as the others as possible. Many of the shows were two days, and we’d camp nearby and hit the convention again the next day. How I mess those days.
Per one of our previous conversations, I’m looking at RVs now, planning of getting one to use for travel, visiting our National Parks and to visit my home state of South Dakota for a few weeks each year. I really like the Camper Vans, but my wife wants another travel trailer/caravan… which means, that’s what we’ll likely get. She’s the boss… 😔
I would enjoy either… and would certainly not be unhappy with another caravan.
I’m sure you guys had a good time, and were like children in a magical toy store at Christmas. I know I am when I go to these.
My goodness, those were just amazingly beautiful, and caused me to catch the RV Fever from you!

I had to return and tell you, I’m a major E.L.O. fan, and they’re one of my three very favorite performers (groups). My absolute all-time favorites are The Moody Blues, followed by Pink Floyd and ELO… then Genesis.
Back in the 1970s, my cousin, friends and I would attend any ELO Concert that came. And when I was 17 and up until college, I had my hair curled (permanents done by my cousin), and at ELO concerts, people often mistake me for Jeff Lynne! I kid you not Dave… even my eyeglasses looked very much like his…😊
Hi George. Thank you for your lovely comment We are just about to leave after four days here- we’ve had an absolute blast! It’s the first one we’ve ever stayed at, as we’ve only had the van for seven months. We were a bit nervous about it to be honest but it’s been so relaxing and so much fun. There’s a great atmosphere and we met so many friendly folk and whiled away many an hour just chatting. Some of the Motorhomes (coachbuilt) are crazy sizes for the UK but we’ve seen similar ones in the US. The campervans (converted vans) are great to walk around too. No caravans at this show which is quite unusual as they’re normally all combined.
But, yes, a great time. I hope you get to travel back in a new van of whatever design to South Dakota. That would be wonderful to see George.

Oh my goodness, our tastes in music are completely the same. Genesis were my band as a teenager - saw them many times live and the. It was Pink Floyd and ELO close behind.
Saw both bands a few times too. Plus anything else rock or prog music really.
The ELO tribute were absolutely brilliant. Professional and tight and the vocals were superb plus an amazing violinist.

You have to take a test at 70 to renew a C1 licence which means I couldn’t drive over 3.5t without that.
So in a couple of years we will have to think about that. But don’t want to change really ever! 😃😃

Wow, some of those vans cost more than our house 😮😂🙈. But, if we ever have a lottery win, we will be purchasing the 180k van, gorgeous!🤩. Adventure mobiles for sure, you really would be quite happy living in these vans, everything you need for van life ❤🤩. Such a shame about the flipping English weather, as you said, must have had a big impact on the store holders takings 🫤. We really enjoyed mooching around Dave and Sue, what a great event 😊👍

Thanks Shell and Pete. 🙏🙏. Yes those big vans are crazy. We met a guy near the first one, the Merc. He had bought one nine months before, new, and it had been off the road for six months of them!!!! He had an independent engineer inspect it and he said that the van was too big for the engine! Crazy at that price.
We do reckon we could live in Florrie for a period - if we ever had to move and needed temporary accommodation we reckon we could do six months at least. And you would be out there in nature all the time so a big bonus!!
The weather was just so bad that weekend - the only day it brightened up was on the Sunday and a lot of people were leaving by then!
