Nice work and cutting thumbs up, shared and thank you for the video.
Nice upgrades, wish I was younger I'd get one.
you wished you were younger, I wished I was richer! lol.
I like the improvements Jake! Can’t wait for my mill to arrive. You need to get a mic on your hat so we can hear you talking while you are milling. Cheers bud!
We need more please
Wish I was there for the sawdust cedar is GREAT for my free range hens as it keeps away the red mites. :)
Very interesting machine
Blade maintenance nearly nonexistent and lasts a LONG time. Sharpened in a minute.

Looks great Jake. Is that mill running the fuel injected Honda 30 hp?
Yes it is. Nice motor.
Can the scale on the computer control be set to Imperial as well as Metric ?
How to buy this type of blade in India
Please i am in Ghana and we need this type of machine very serious the 12 inches one.
What kind of red wood it is? Is this machine good for cutting African Azobe/sipo, sapele/ teak? What is the cost of installing one unit? Space required? Other technical details? How often you have to change the blade?
Of course, a swing blade easily cuts the hardest timber in the world - it's not like a bandsaw.
@@TURBOSAWMILL thank you for your response. From our company, we would like to know, what is the cutting thickness? Means, in each pass of the blade, how much timber will be lost in terms of mm. Also please let us know the other information we mentioned. Or at least let us know from where we can get those information.
@@CS987liberia I really think it's an over simplification when considering this as your solution to processing timber. You will soon find out: simplicity of operation, simplicity of maintenance, consistently accurate and straight timber probably the largest factor, manual input for production (not having to rehandle slabs for Sawing). Deflection in hardwood and diameter of logs. These are all the significant issues before you get to kerf. Sawmill competitions in the US highlight kerf is irrelevant to both production and recovery. These competitions compared swingblade mills and band mills. The swingblade achieved higher results both in production and recovery. Kerf ranges between models: 5.7mm to 7.1mm kerf on an equevelent bandsaw will range from 2mm to 4mm depending on model and not taking into account deviation of cut which is typical and a far greater loss.

How long did it take to clean up all of the saw dust from this log? 😂
On mine I use a Stihl leaf vac it takes NO time at all and picks it ALL up. :)

Looks expensive w/ lots of aluminum. Think ill stick w/ my Mobile Dimension 128.
Yes, the beam is alloy, but you don't need to purchase with the digital sizing if it looks complicated. We make a very simple, reliable machine.
