You are a Super intelligent and patient man!!! I just pray that you are Blessed with sons who watch you!!! REALLY enjoyed the video!!! Please keep it up!!! You are a dying breed my friend!!!
Awesome restoration. I have always found buying new plastic shells for old tool restorations was worth it. They are fairly inexpensive ($35 for a hackzall) and give the tool a brand new feel
@@michaellim4165 yes. A lot of times with a brushed tool the problem stems from worn out or broken brushes. They are very cheap and easy to change. With a brushless tool there’s many other problems that the user doesn’t have the intelligence to fix which results in them buying a whole new tool which is expensive
Which spot welder did you use very well made video BTW thanks for sharing it with us. Just curious which spot welder you used for the battery terminals.
That's amazing news for sure I broke a few in the past and a I broke another a day ago and I don't have $200$ to spend for a replacement i have the old broken saws and the one I just recently broke now with all the parts one should work I hope so anyways Now I got a question ❓❓❓ About the battery and some of the circuit boards that come with them can they be inter changed like let's say from a 3amp hour to a 9 hi pathetically I don't have a 9 I am asking about the boards can they be used for other battery packs from smaller to larger or larger to smaller Great video Thank you in advance
The screw driver is small. But it does its work perfectly as its crutch makes the bit stop right there not tripping the screw heads. What is its name, model or make please? It is a nice tool to handle small home projects.
Can you make an april fools video, where you "restore" an old (brand new) tool and make it old fashioned. Perhaps that Sawzall could use some wooden grips?
Nice work. I like the tire glue repair. I also have a tip for rejuvenating the plastic housing: a propane or butane torch. I first saw it with stadium seats. Here's a video doing to it to car trim: ua-cam.com/video/1uJF7k7faGs/v-deo.html
Allow me to say that this is a throw-away society. You are so passionate to restore things. Awesome. Thank you.
Beautiful work with the tire adhesive, looks like it's straight from the factory!
Milwaukee is the inventor of the saber saw in 1949 ! The tire glue seems appropriate for repair the rubber parts ! Great work 👍

Where can I get the plastic shells? I was looking the website and I can't find them
Same question, where is that site
This is first good video that I see about repairing this tool !
Congratulations !!
What an awesome job restoring that tool, and making a new battery pack for it is just as awesome. Works like a charm, too. Good work.

Fantastic job 👍 my favorite part is always when you make the batter sac. Project cleaned up sweet. Great work
This is why brush tools are good, they are easy to repair and maintain. good job.
Brushless tools are more difficult?

You must be an angel in disguise. Period.
Belo trabalho, só pra quem sabe mesmo, o que muito admiro é o cuidado que se tem nas limpezas da peça, isso é muito importante, parabéns 👍👍👏👏👏🇧🇷
Ur a beast bro!! I admit I watch in 2× speed but I do watch n enjoy the whole video start to finish!!
Great job one more tool brought back to life with your know how👍
Excellent job really nice restoration 👍
Very nice work. Was there a kit for the battery or did you recover hardware from an old one?
Very nice, I have a Milwaukee basic circ saw that needs repair, I’d be happy to send it to you lol
20:25: Use spot welder, not solder, on this part.
Very good repair/restoration 👍
Good video.like the detail in which you do the repairs.keep it up 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Pretty cool. I thought you were gonna make a cool contraption from it. Great fix.

There’s just something about the grime coming out as the screw is being unthreaded that is so astonishing

Loved this video, great work! 👍👍
That was very good restoration but I noticed that when you did the battery you didn’t use red lithium batteries so idk how long that’s going to last
You definitely know how to take tings apart and make them look new again but definitely don't know how to cut with a Sawzall 😉
Where do you get the bearings from
What is the white powder you put in the water to brush off the dirt please?
What is the pin thing you stuck in the middle?
i cant find anything strong enough to push out and center the puller.
seems like mine has 3 different size torkx screws?? Naturally, I only can find my #10
It might be nice to show or tell what powder you put in the boiling water to clean the case.
Nice work. 👍👏👏👏
Thanks you 👍👍👍
very good thanhk

maybe it was necessary to put the battery in the beginning...and it wouldn't have to be disassembled:))))
Я люблю инструменты и это очень интересно но было бы круче если автор озвучивал что делает
2625 Manual says -- "NOTE: Clean Gearcase Kits with a clean dry cloth. DO NOT wash up."
Min 7:45. Washes with kerosene. 🤣
Nice
Code of small bearing in motor ?

Not brushless motor
👍🇪🇨
Another example of things engineered to fail…
... the main issues was bearings... your comment is useless
Could of just used the warranty but ok
Where did you get the battery box and the BMS?
