Classic, hybrid, volumes or MEGAvolumes? Which one are you going to try out first OR which style is go-to?!
How do we book with you 😭
volumes
I had my lash extensions installed yesterday I’m glad I found your UA-cam account I got a volume set ☺️
Hybrid
Volumes since I’m super hooded eyelids lol
“There’s no talking during the procedure” lol me and my lash tech are actually friends and talk the entire time which makes it go by so much faster
There are some OG lash artists that are so talented that they can knock out a bangin' lash set and talk to you the whole time. So jelly! But for most lash artists, we need ULTRA concentration lol.
I’ve only ever had convos with all my lash ladies too
@@thelysleung I agree with the no talking rule because peoples eyes flutter open when they speak without noticing ! Also noticed the under eye pads can move up bruising the eye. Love your videos btw!
Literally... she sounds like an amateur.. I did lashes today for the first time and we spoke for the entire time... I got a volume set and she took 1 1/2 hours.. not 4 hours.. wtf lol
@@amrikaramlagan9181 Let me tell you that IT IS dangerous. She does not sound amateur at all. My last appointment I talked and laughed with my lash artist and I had bruises in my eyes after, like a straight line of veins. When we laugh we can't see it but we squint our eyes, we can flutter as well. So there is chemicals vapor that is going in your eyes meanwhile. I ended up swelling and I had to go back to her 2 days after to take all of my extensions off. So really, be careful.
I’m currently on research mode and this video truly helped!!!
Yay! exactly why I made this video, to help you get all the info :D
What a great tutorial! Now I'm psyched to get my first set! Thank you. (Carolyn, age 75, Long Island, NY)
I’m 62yo and about to get my first set in an hour. Thank you for this great tutorial!🥰
Just had my first ever lash ext today by my friend's daughter, who recently completed training and looking for people to practice on. Cost AUD$45 for classic set (usually $150+). She did a great job but was light on the advice regarding care and maintenace. So your video was really helpful!
This was the most perfect eyelash extension video ever. I'm a lash tech as well and I couldn't have said it better. I can't wait to share this video to my new clients! 💕💕💕
Thanks Michelle! :D I'm so happy! I tried to incorporate everything in as little time as possible, it was NOT easy haha (as I'm sure you can attest to). Happy lashing babe! 💜
What about showering or taking baths? Do we not get them saturated with water?
So glad I found this video! I've been on/off about trying lash extensions but I think I'm going to! I was mostly worried about not wearing eye makeup. You're so wonderful! I'm definitely subscribing 💓
It’s my first time but I may go with hybrid since I wear lashes like that and may feel like the classics are not dramatic enough
can't go wrong with hybrids. It's the perfect median!
how much do they cost
I just got hybrid lashes and it looks like volume since my lashes are fuller. Next time I’m getting Luxe/ classic to hopefully get that hybrid look.
@@tieany1 does it damage the natural lashes? Like when the lash extensions started to fall off do natural lashes fall off too?
@@irraalvaran8211 this is so late but your lashes shed naturally so you might notice some fallout that has your natural lash attached to it, which isn’t a bad thing, it’s normal!! It only damages the natural lash when you don’t clean them regularly or if your lash artist just isn’t experienced.
Best video EVER! So much info. You delivered on everything you said you would. I learned exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!
This video was great! Def underrated :)
aw thank u so much! :D
I typically apply lash strips myself when I do a full face makeup look. However, I would like to do a more natural/everyday lash look moving forward. This video was very insightful!
I get my first eyelash extension set tomorrow! I was so nervous before watching your video. I naturally have longer eyelashes so I debated whether I should get them done or not. Now that I’ve watched your video I’m excited for my appointment tomorrow! ☺️♥️
How was it?
That’s how I was yesterday! And now I absolutely love it
@@maisonbradley3925 did they damage your natural lashes?
@@julita9528 to my surprise not at all! I was super worried about that because I have fairly nice natural lashes. But there’s no damage done!
@@maisonbradley3925 what set did you get?
Love the thoroughness of lash extensions explanations. I'm in medical field so I really appreciated how thorough you were with "bad" side effects if application is by bad or inexperienced lasher. I'm so glad to have chosen this video to start my research. In addition, as a RN, you are so organized and very articulate in what specifics newbies should do. Yes, I'm very interested in eye lash extensions and because of this video, I feel a lot more informed than other videos that I have watched so far. Great video. Highly recommend people to subscribe! Thank you!
I'm getting my first set of extensions in a couple days. This video is very informative and thank you for giving us this advice. 💕
Very informative video! I got my first lash extension as a classic set for my birthday months ago and now I’m thinking about a hybrid set 😍
Yes yesss do it!! I hope it’s everything you wanted and more lol
Been planning to get extensions in 5 days for my vacation and this is very very extremely like extremely informative 👏 thank you so much dear!
Just a heads up: if you get lashes that are too long/heavy your lashes will straighten and start to invert and eventually will scratch your eye and you’ll need to get it pulled out. So definitely avoid heavy sets
Thank you for this video. I am getting extensions for the first time and found this to be extremely helpful.
I get my first set tomorrow. I'm going with volume. I'm so excited after watching your video. I was super nervous. Thanks so much!!!
How did you go?? Im getting my first set in two weeks and im nervous
This video was very helpful!! I’ve made an appointment to get a classic fill for Christmas and I’m very excited now!! 🥂✨
how did it go?
I was hesitant before this but now i know i definitely want extensions!
Thanks❤ All I could possibly need to know! Thanks for being so thorough.
Best video on eye lash extensions hands down! Getting them done for the first time on my birthday this month! Thank you, this was very informative and helpful!
Okay I’m new to the lash extension life and this video answered so many questions I didn’t even know I had!😮
I love you . You are so informative. I’m all in .
Thank you so much!!! Going to get first classic extensions next week!! Your video has really helped 🙏🏻👊🏻👍
Thank you for the tips! You were so clear and concise in your explanations :)
Thanks for watching Candice :)
So many of my clients have lash extensions and always look beautiful...I think it's time to take the leap!
Very informative! Thank you for sharing your expertise/perspective.😁
This video content was super helpful!💗
Love the details and easing anxiety. Can not wait to get the glam on.
Thanks for the video, I've been considering them for a while now!
Glad I could help!
This is so amazing. I should definitely get eyelash extensions!!!
Thank you for the video. I'm getting hybrid lashes done for the first time tomorrow.
This video has been super helpful!!! Thank you!!
Thanks for watching Alyssa!
I am considering getting eyelash extensions for the first time, just to try it out. Thanks for the informative video 👍🏼
So informative!!! Great video! Thank you! ❤️
thank you for this video, it really helps me to know better about lashes extension.
Getting my first set today! Thanks so much for all info! ❤️
Getting mine on Friday, going with the hybrid 😁
I kind of want them but I haven’t gotten them before. How are they? What did you get?
The girl canceled on me right before my appt! I was going to get hybrid but now I’m glad I didn’t actually. It’s just a lot of maintenance and money for something that only lasts 2 weeks or so. It all worked out. Just get a good mascara haha
this was such a great video, you deserve so many more followers 💖
thank you, you're too kind 🤗
my appointment is tomorrow, watching this so i know about everything before my first time 😁
I’m watching this because I want to get lash extensions 😊
I love the way you talk and the tone.
This video is super duper educative. I learnt a lot. Thanks😊
Great video. I'm getting my first extensions tomorrow and I'm 65 years old!
I just started lashing a few weeks ago !!!! good video ! Let’s see if my clients want to watch this and inform themselves more xD
I have my first eyelash extensions appointment today with my best friend, she gets hers done all the time and they look so good. I’ve never done it before but I wanna try it because I have graduation in May so if it goes well I’ll do it again for pictures.
Thanks for the advice! I just got them done for the first time and it’s been a week but I’ve lost the majority of them and I’ve been careful. I’m going to go tell my lash artist bc I thought it was normal!
You're welcome girl! One week is not normal :( Could be so many factors, but letting your lash artist know is the first step. Hopefully she can get down to the bottom of it 😄
Omg awesome info. You're toooo knowledgeable. Thank you sooo much
Hahaha it’s my job!! Thanks for watching 😉
C.O.A here! And waiting on a course availability for opening where I am :) I've seen it all on the medical end. I'm so driven to do the extensions and researching/learning the right way and what to watch out for, your video was very informative!!!
Wooot!! excited for you 🙌🏼 (btw, what's a C.O.A.?). I'm glad you have a learner's mindset. The ones that go far are the ones that become obsessed with knowing everything about their craft and practice on the daily. Good luck!
@@thelysleung Certified Ophthalmic Assistant = medical eye doctor assistant! I've seen all the bad outcomes to some poor eyelashes and then assist with treatments on the medical spectrum. I've questioned on the basics of how is it possible for eyelashes to come this way which driven my new journey to safetly know all techniques and steps both medically and eyelash extension perspective to avoid terrible cases and start doing eyes on a beauty side too, best of both worlds!!
I want to try out lash extension! You're so informative. This helps a lot.
I have an appointment for next Monday, I was worried since I’ve never done this before but you explained it soo well!
Hi. How was it?
Please twll us about ir
I can't wait to take my lash class in a few weeks!!
This was a great informative video I've seen on UA-cam!♡ thank you x
Thank you so much Carla :D Hope you have a happy lash extension journey!
This is a great video!!! I have been wanting lashes for a while. I think I will get them for my birthday🥰 question, do you do bottom lashes as well? Or are they not recommended?
Thanks Jessica! Glad u liked it :) Birthday lashes are THEEEE BEST!!! I hope you love em. I, personally don't do bottom lashes, and I don't see anything wrong with getting them. But from what I know, these lashes don't last as long. Could be good for a one night out, such as your birthday though ;)
So much great info!! Thank you ❤
You’re welcome :)
Thanks so much I just got my eyelashes done today
this was so helpful, thank u!
Thank you for doing this very informative video! Sending blessings your way
Thank you for this super informative video! 😊
I’m so glad I saw this video. Tomorrow is my first lash extension appointment 😀
Woohoo! hope it went well April :D
@@thelysleung Thanks 😊! It went really good!!
Tell us about it
Getting lashes done for the first time in 3 days😍
Great explanation i've ever watched hope you share more content about eyelashes coz i want to know more about lash
Thank you! This is so helpful!!!!
You're so welcome Kim :D
Very informative. Thanks for the tips.
I am always mistaken as Chinese/Japanese (nothing wrong with that) because I have small eyes so I was really happy to know that eyelash extension can open my eyes.
I am also glad that I don’t have to avoid products with oil because I literally use oil cleansers every night to remove my sunscreen.
The good thing though is I don’t wear makeup at all so I hope to have long retention. I will get extensions after my exam week as a reward to myself 🥰
Planning to experience eyelash extensions 🤗Thank you for sharing this video❤
Thanks for your sharing and learned a lot!
I just had my first set done a few days ago. I’m obsesssseeedddd
YASSSS love hearing this!!! 😆
Which kind did you get??
@@avabrigham5121 i got the classics! Then I did hybrid for a while. I love classics though, they look very natural
I’m always addicted to coffee and I be laying on the lash table with my eyes twitching 😭😭😭 I swear I love my lash lady she’s so patient LOL
lol I do not envy your lash artist, no offence. Get a decaf and then drink the real stuff after perhaps??
No wonder my eyes was twitching during the process 😭😭😭😭😭
Great overview!
Thank you for all the information it was very helpful
@15:23 this video is amazing and I definitely want to get lash extensions!
wow very informative video thanks. definitely getting this after my rhinoplasty procedure.
I like this video. Verly informative. I have sensitive in general, but I want lashes. I think I am going to give it a try.
Wow thank you for all the information
I cannot wait!
very helpful- thanks!
Can you do a video of explaining the right lash courses to take? (How to start, where, etc) I want to get into this field but don’t know how to start. It would be very helpful for people like me with no guidance at all, thanks!
Hey Nazeerah! I published a video recently about licensing and how to get certified as a lash artist. ;) In case you haven't seen it, here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/Si20_hGftk0/v-deo.html
This is very informative! My clients usually ask for volumes and classics. I use LLBA products they are my fave go to,.
Thanks for all the tips
You’re so welcome!
Great video! I just got my lashes done for the first time today. Total virgin! I SO wish I had found your video first! My tech had NOTHING on her site about how to prep (I had on tons of waterproof mascara - UGH!) OR how to clean or care for them afterwards - she just made me spend another $27 on cleaner stuff - NO instructions at all.
I'm looking to get lash extensions done for the first time and this video was super helpful 🥰
I'm so happy to hear that! You'll be prepared AF!
Very informative thank you!
You're welcome!
Love a good set of lashes 💕✨
Good tips thaaaank youuuuu 😊✨
Excellant Loved this video
I definitely want to get lash extensions ❤
Excellent video
I love the look of my hybrid cat eye extensions.!! Strangers compliment them. My appts are something I totally dread because either the tech is griping at me the whole time or doing something painful. The foam pad edges feel like they are cutting into my upper wayer line. She plucks off the old fans with natural lashes sometimes get plucked out. Care instructions were minimal, but her number one admonishment is brushing and NO powder eye shadow. I am trying a new lash salon hoping for a better experience and fewer glue clumps and no plucking out natural lashes which is so painful.
Okay this just gave me more anxiety lol i want to try them for the first time but ow painful. Thats awful. Im looking at the hybrid cat eye as well!
@@withloveleli Just ask people whoses ladhes you like about their experiences. I was referred to another salon where they told me what was wrong with my extensions and differences in regill processes. I got my extensions temoved with zero discomfort and new much lighter bolume fans that don’t have the extra glue my old ones had. My old ones were also too close to my lash bade causing irritation. It was a good ecperience. they use hand mafe fans made of much finer lash hairs so look like natural full lashes. The artists and salon owner were more than happy to take the time to demonstrate differences and to share segments of the training that helped explain the best technique. The owner suggested that someone getting ladhes for the first tome find an artist at a salon where they also do training.
@@suziq-zy2620 oh wow! Okay, appreciate the update on this and def will look into it! If i decide on trying it I want it to go smoothly. Im a cry baby and get anxious for anything and especially if its going on my eyes lol appreciate it once again! Good information and hope it helps anyone else that runs into your comment!
i want the hybrid look for my first time. my lashes are already classic enough lol
This video!! I want to send this to every single client of mine 😂
I love this video because I would love to get the classic lashes…but what about crying, tears, swimming, does that affect the lashes at all?
Thank you so much. I really need to know that .
You're very welcome :)
When I got mine done, my natural lashes were already measuring at an 11mm so I have 13mm with a ton of curl because my natural lashes are curly too
Thank you this video helped so much. I was thinking if i could wait 2 months to get a new set everytime?
When someone is in a situation when the lashes are done wrong, do we let the lash artist know and ask for a refund or them to be redone ? How should a client go about it?
Hi Alysa. Thanks for the video. I got my EE 2 days back but now they're hurting my water line . I see that each extension has been applied to only 1 natural hair but still it feels rough around the base. Is this normal?
This was very informative. As someone who has never had extentions, but is interested in getting them, I've learned a lot. I have " allergy eyes ", always tearing and burning, now I'm unsure if this will work for me.
Eyelash extensions may not be ideal for you, but that doesn't mean you can't get them now and then (especially for vacations and special occasions!). Make sure you go to a reputable lash artist who is knowledgeable in preventing irriations etc.
I really do want to get lash extensions xx
