+david martin I'm not really a ford fan, more GM for me, but this is the only mustang I would ever consider getting….down the road I want a WS6 trans am, but if i come across a nice terminator I'll def consider it, with a small amount of mods they are able to hit almost 500whp that's inside with just basic bolt on's

03-04 Cobra is the coolest car Ford ever made. Mach 1 gives it a run for its money for being cool, looks a little better but the Cobra with that blower... gotta give it to the Cobra.

shnoopy doopy cobras do look better than the 03-04 mach 1s but once you put a 99-01 cobra bumper on the Mach 1 it is a very close debate since the 99-01 cobra bumper just pairs well with the shaker hood and gives it one badass look
I would say the 2005 ford gt or the origonal le mans gt40 is def cooler but thats just imo

I love both the Termi Cobra and the Z06 so much! Two of the best cars to come out of America in my opinion. Looking into owning a Termi in the near future, but also really would like to get my hands on a Z06! Seems like it requires a lot more time and money to build a Z06 though, which kind of turns me towards the Cobra. But a built N/A Z06 is definitely on my list, especially for when I can afford to take one to the track. Z06 is a great platform for a bitching track car.

Awesome runs. I personally own an 03 cobra and am never selling it. However im aggressively looking for a c6Z. Both cars in this vid define bang for the buck!! With simple mods on both they can hang with most cars. Also there they best sounding cars with exhaust work. Imo

Both very nice cars. I've owned two C5 ZO6's, one was supercharged. I'd love to get a C6 ZO6 like that one. Always wanted an 03/04 Cobra, trigger finger has been itching to get one for the past year or so since I sold my Z.
termi ftw! The C6 Z is my fav bang for the buck car and I'm typically gm oriented but the 03-04 Cobra/Kenne Bell setup is ridiculously harsh. It's just about hard to believe how hard they run.
One of my friends got a whipple e85 cobra for 21000. What a deal. 640whp/750 torque.

Nevermind that the stock pulley on the 5.8L is considerably smaller than the LS9, and the only way to put a smaller pulley on the 5.8L is to mill the snout. The LS9 with an available 2.6" pulley makes over 680hp (Available at Lingenfelter).
The LS9 is 0.4L bigger; and the 5.8L has 4 times the cams and twice as many valves
The 5.0L is also about 3" taller and 5" wider than an LS7. Ford traded CID for DOHC

@Tony. Lmao. Truer words have not been spoken. They rattle and creek worse than a log truck. The Z is quicker but the Terminator sounds better and is way more iconic. The Cobra block is also indestructible.

@@zenithskull Yeah, I've driven plenty of C7's. They are light years ahead of the C6's and even the GT500. Ford got it right with the Terminator and GT350. I'm sure the C8 is in an entirely different class from everything.

All I know is my neighbor and friend has an '03 Terminator Cobra convertible with a Kenny Bell swap running 626rwhp and 589rwtq. Less than $40,000 in it.
Cobra Guy needs to Upgrade to 2.8 KB ,W/ KB Pump Upgrade,His H.P. will go up to 799 ,749,W/ Out the Pump Upgrade,then old Z-06's ,No Matter who built them & anything else that wants to Race will only see his back bumper. the Stk. Terminator Engine Internals are good for 725-740,Anymore Over that,wrist pins will need upgraded,According to BOSS 330 Racing' s Al Papito in So.Fla

There is not a 2011 cobra, the last model year of the SVT Cobra was the 2004 Mustang. Afterwards the only cars to have the cobra symbol is the GT500 SuperSnake, which is NOT a Cobra.
The z06 is mine. That's when it was bone stock. It trapped 124 mph stock. We did long tubes, vararam and a tune and the car went 10.62@133.8. Id be happy to run you're 2007 z06 since you're such a good driver? I think you need to race a couple more 600 hp cobras.....
Always been a fan of terminators since they came out but damn that vette hanging right with it considering all that is done to the cobra... Higher lift cam,exhaust and tune and I think that vette would pull a car or two. Both cars are sweet tho
where does it say that the terminator has a higher lift cam?.. and the other stuff are basic bolts on parts combine with tune other than the 2.2 kb but that kb sucks even the stock ported Eaton is better

Why is the Kenne Bell a much more profecient supercharger than other names? What does it have to offer that the other guys don't?
No because that would be a good 150 rwhp advantage easily making up for 500 lbs of weight. Don't take the time to think of how a corvette with the same hp will leave this car sitting.

ZO6 was nearly stock. KB car was a high 10 / 127-130 car with this tune.

I had a 04 cobra now I have a c6 z06 pushing 465 at the wheels and haven't lost to any cobra and if I ever do its only cus he's pushing 700 or more to the wheels
If you're pushing 465 rwhp, it shouldn't take a 700+ rwhp Cobra to beat you. One with 575 rwhp should put a nice gap between you two.

Ls9 is 10.5 psi, the 5.8L 14.5 psi. People say the 5.8L needs more boost to barely make more hp, but they're forgetting that the GT500 has tiny camshafts and is down over half a liter. Zr1's cam is .550 lift, a hefty street cam by any standards.
One could argue that if a ZR1 were to recieve a Ford 5.8, it would be faster, and the height/width difference wouldn't mean shit on the track either. F1's don't even bother using pushrods for center of gravity because of the airflow restrictions...

ive heard the same, whipple didnt have the same rep when 03-04 came out, until whipple was doing 630+rwhp and kb 600-610 ish, 3 friends battled this with theirs .same poundage the whipple did better. i have a 427r trak pack and it doesnt make sense to put anything on there but the roushcharger because of the stock 4.6 that cant handle more than a k&N lol jk . but stock the stage 3 can make 430 and be kinda safe.. i know we are talking about fully forged 03-04 but just to add

To Tonganoxiechief, fords current 5.8L GT500, the 662hp 2013, will make 510hp/480tq as a stock NA 5.8 V8... Chevy can't do that without a 7.0 427. and I've been a Chevy guy for 36yrs... The 4 engineers at Ford I talked to could've made the new 5.0 "coyote" 465hp and the 5.0 "roadrunner" (BOSS) over 485hp if it were not for super tight CAFE & emissions regs.. GM just can't do it, YET.

The N/A Trinity 5.8 would make about 495-510 HP if they treated it like a BOSS 302 and gave it 11:1 Compression and N/A compatible cams.
