If you have it, Provisioner's Ring is a game-changer for Alpha/Omega because I'm pretty sure the charge time and damage bonuses only decay when the weapon is in your hands. I use it with the ring and a Twisting Wounds handgun + Abrasive Whetstone setup, and my Alpha/Omega always fires at the tap of a button even if I haven't shot it in a few seconds because I've been using my handgun to bleed the boss or dodging with it stowed. This means you don't have to invest in charge time at all, and when you can use those slots to stack crit instead Alpha/Omega just cooks bosses.
I measured Savior's RoF frame by frame (counting how long it takes to empty the mag) and Gunslinger's Charm does affect it. It doesn't affect charge time per se, but the delay from ending the last shot till the next. Gunslinger's actually was a noticeable bump.
Interesting, so it’s similar in effectiveness to how rate of fire boosts affected single shot weapons in r1 (and prob r2 as well since lots of quirks carried over.). Good to know!
Savior with twisted wounds. Harmonizer with feedback. Amulet: Whetstone Ring 1: probability cord Ring 2: stone of malevolence Ring:3 burden of destroyer Ring 4: Ahanea crystal Hunter shroud/ rampage. I shred everything. You do not need the supercharger or archers crest. Frankly after using both and all other builds I find it’s better to time the perfect shots without either. Given that I have bleed, fire and corrosive at all times thanks to my mods constantly being up- my ahanea crystal is providing a multiplicative 15% damage buff at all times. I shred EVERYTHING. You don’t need reload speed or any of that nonsense. You just need to land your precise charges which are more consistent with the standard charge speed. I average 6-7k per precise shots with my top shots doing 10k per shot with all buffs active.
The Deceit doesn't need any reloading... Because it has a way to infinite mag. Full One True King setup (amulet and rings) with Archon, and just sling the swords with a melee heavy for big chunks of damage, fire two or three shots, and cycle the mod to instantly reload the gun. After the bugfix to Faerin, it feels even faster somehow. World's Edge with the new Edgelord mutator or Godsplitter purely as a drip option, put on Zania and a ring of your choice, pop on whatever second archetype you feel like, and it's good to be the king.
@@WryHarpy Absolutely is. It's incredibly high sustained DPS until you run out of ammo, because you basically have the triple sword coming out every three shots (massive AOE and way more damage than the single throw) and functionally one large mag the size of all your reserve. Battery versus Supercharger is preference, but Battery will have 100% uptime (of course). Secondary weapon... Hm. I like running Archer's Crest and C. Meridian, but C. Rune Pistol would be good synergy as it debuffs enemies constantly with an enemy side damage bonus and adds a bit of weakspot damage. Or regular Rune Pistol for healing. Or anything, really, but I like sticking to Losomn stuff thematically.
For savior i choose to go with gunfire security lanyard and for rings i use singed ring, probability cord, zania's malice and archer's crest. with singed ring when you burn someone with your weapon mod you get an increase to all damage which is huge for a ring. I recommend you all to give this a try it's actually pretty good for everything from roaming to boss fights
The guys on the hell mod team have talked about making a Hell Mod 2 once all the dlcs release for R2. We still have all of our assets so it shouldn't be too difficult to re implement them into R2 once we start working on the project!
@@WryHarpyThanks! I loved playing with it, wish the game had a FAL, IA2 or another battle rifle. Will be looking forward your channel (srry about my english)
They can definitely feel slow without running archers crest and super charger. Hopefully they add other trinkets and mutators that affect charging weapons, it’d be nice to see some alternatives to just firing faster.
*Something very annoying is happening to me, I'm not gaining characteristic points when I'm in adventure mode, nor do I pick up a book or when I level up. Furthermore, when I change from one class to another class, I am losing points for characteristics that I had already placed in some (such as mod power and vitality), is this a general bug or does it only happen to me??*
Every archetype has a set number of 5 trait points allocated to health, stamina, mod power and skill cooldown. When you swap them around it’s shifting the points out that would be overspent had they been invested previously. As far as not getting trait points when in adventure mode/picking up books, I assume you haven’t hit the trait point cap of 65? Unlike in remnant 1 trait points are now limited. And additional books grabbed after hitting the cap just grants scrap and archetype exp. And boss kills are the same.
Appreciate it! Subbed, not enough quality deep dives on remnant 2

Oh wow I haven’t heard of that setup before 👀 sounds pretty strong.

I love the bolt driver with archers crest and supercharger
Definitely gonna try with some fire rate increases as well, looks fun
Any chance of you adding the Battle Riffle to Remnant 2?? I’ve played Remnant 1 only because of your mods, and I loved it

Hey are you planning to do a handgun apocalypse tested? I would love to see one of those.
Yes! After I finish my current video on the rest of the base game long guns I’ll begin covering the handguns!
@@WryHarpy Looking forward to those :D
Am I the only one wishing I could just run 2 secondaries? I find them to be way more unique and fun
That would be a ton of fun!

Alpha/Omega sucks balls. worst long gun in the game. very disappointing reward for beating the game.
When I first got the weapon I thought it sucked too lmao. I'd say it's a bit of an acquired taste compared to the other long guns.
