  • We squat every day from sitting down in a chair to getting out of bed, or even sitting safely on the toilet, but squats can be a painful task when something hurts, or our muscles are weak. Practicing squats in a reverse order can help strengthen the muscles and work on doing them correctly and safely. Watch another video about squatting safely: • Squats with a Chair - ...

    Hi dr joe! Could you make a video tackling tendon issues for the back of the hand? Im dealing with tennis elbow and even some wrist issues and gamer thumb but im also finding that the tendons on the back of my hands are suffering and im not sure what to do about that, getting a lot of mixed results or even odd random videos talking about nothing except very random specific miracle cures and your exercises have been super helpful thus far! Im sure its all connected as ive noticed treatment for all these various tendons have a lot of similarities but i still wanna do what i can (while not doing too much of course, rest is still important) any help would be incredible

      The tendons on the back of the hand are the wrist extensors, and those come all the way up to the elbow. So that is connected to tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), which is where the tendons come up and attach to the outside of the elbow. It's the same tendons, just connected at the hand/fingers instead of at the elbow. So hopefully some of the exercises for tennis elbow or wrist tendonitis will help. Hello ma'am have been following you since many years and really appreciate your work. A little request from my side if you could share something about menopause management in women who have had hysterectomy and have been going through hot flushes sleep disturbance and urine incontinency. Quite complex to deal with it.

    Doc, I have heard that if you develop stronger gluts the pressure on the knees is the reduced and thus knee pain. How true is that.

    • @AskDoctorJo
      @AskDoctorJo  3 місяці тому

      Depending on what specifically is causing the knee pain, yes, stronger glutes can help.

      They can be done every day as long as they don't increase pain, but they can also be done a few times a week.
