Yes! Thank you! Things are moving along quickly... We are in our home and it feels great! I have been sleeping better as well. I hope to get another upload soon on our home and the progress on the studio. Jim has worked so very hard to get us to this point. Another victory!
That is interesting! Exciting! I live in a modular and when it was moved in the company used a remote controlled bulldozer thing. Also I do not have a concrete pad under mine, plastic and gravel. Probably because there was a mobile home that was there and had to be moved with water lines and septic lines coming from the garage. Can't wait to see what you do with your new home! It looks like you have a jump start on Christmas lights. LOL

My sewing room is a big bedroom but I have my longarm and cutting table and material and books and yarn in a 17 x 33 room. I am in the basement. So, I don't have windows. I miss that. But I am always cool in the plus 100 degree summer and warm in the below freezing winter. I hope you have been using local shops and Facebook Marketplace to replenish. I found my longarm in CA on Facebook Marketplace.

Oh those dangling lights! LOL! I think we have about 1500 square feet. It's very roomy in here. Quite a downsize from my beloved farmhouse but its all one level. The sewing studio has a foundation and will be going up soon. It is gonna be 1200 square feet. Much larger than my farmhouse sewing room. We hope to have 2 long arm machines, lots of shelves, bathroom, coffee bar, small sink & fridge. I'm hoping this will be a space will be a place where guest & customers can come in to have fun, sew, grab a coffee, relax, or just get their quilt quilted. For me, this is a place where I will spend much of my time creating, connecting and sharing with the youtube world. 😊❤️

We are pretty sure it was an electrical fire that started in the living room outlet. Our home was over 150 years old & the fire progressed very quickly. I still can't wrap my head around what happened that day but I believe God was watching over me. I debated on leaving the house that morning because it was a very nasty day out. I had my sister & niece with me....We hadn't been gone for more than 30 or 40 minutes when I got the call. I was a frantic mess and I don't remember much of my actions. I was very erratic about my dogs in the house, Millie & Tinker. I found out a couple days later that my kitty, spartan was in the home too. It was devastating.
Hello, we are in our home. It has been a couple of weeks now. It feels homey & comfortable. There is much work yet to be done yet. We still find little things that we still need here & there but everyday is progress. It is absolutely good to be home even though it's just different. I do sleep better now as it has been a rough journey but we are determined to move past it. Jim has worked very hard to get us here and is now preparing the studio foundation. I plan to get video update very soon as April was a whirlwind month....
