I won't lie I just subscribed. I recently got into tying my own flies, and it's lots of fun. Don't have that much for supplies and looking to expand.

Hey Brian, thanks for the care package. I'll be on the road from Easter Sunday until the end of the month so maybe hold off a little sending the package, I've forwarded you my address. This was a great video. I thought the tails were great info and from what one of the local fly shops tells me dragon tails are generally only good for one fish, but he could have been talking about those toothy critters we have up here in Michigan. BTW if I win again in the next year please redraw, we need to spread the wealth. Keep the good stuff coming buddy.

Love the channel Brian! I’m retiring April 30 and plan to spend more time tying when I’m not actually on the water. Really appreciate your tips and videos!

It's super important to start out with good proportions. Since the tail is the first part tied in (usually) tying it in well and in proportion to what you want your fly to be is essential. Thanks for this great video!

Great tips! Went in our local flyshop yesterday in Fredericksburg Tx. and the owner Martin Pursch whose 88 was hunkered over his computer screen..I asked what cha watchin? He said he’s learning a new method on wrapping an articulated fly by this guy who’s a great fly tier...I heard the voice and said that’s Brian Wise..he didn’t know but said he just subscribed. You teach new and old alike Brian. Thanks a lot! 👍👍🎣

Use em for lingcod flies, n cast them with 12 foot spey rod from jetties. They are loud but help hold anchor as to not blow out n smash against said jetty.
