@killerbee6310 There is a business that builds trusses in Haven, just north of Sheboygan. They sometimes get more lumber loads than they can take. They leave the extra cars on the main. But since the main is now "end-of-track" since the CNW days, tying down cars on the main isn't an issue.
Since trains run in bad weather thanks for putting on the rain jacket and catching the FOXY on shall we say a banner day. Hopefully this line can build other traffic. I think I saw some of these cars pass by on mallard duck in DePere so.now one knows where these cars go
it's good to see a mixed manifest instead of all 1 type of car for 1 on-line customer - all covered hoppers for 1 co-op. looks like they are expanding the customer base. bodes well for the future
I enjoyed watching this short FOXY train, KilerBee! Thank you for taking the time to capture this train on 5 November 2024. (Posted 5 November 2024 at164 CST.)
I had to go to "Hunter Camp" so was immersed in everything Hunter for three days. He was definitely passionate. Other then that, I successfully escaped his wrath.
@ I had a manager who had worked for CCP/CN that had to hi-rail his territory with him. He would tremble when talking about it 🤣 Sounded like Harrison was strictly a numbers on a spreadsheet kind of guy.
@@bestfriendhank1424 Hunter knew railroading and the railroad inside and out and it was his way or the highway. He would look at the dispatchers screens from home and if he didn't agree with how train meets were being made, he would call up the dispatcher and "coach" them. But the operations guys that worked for him all swore by him and insisted you had to work for him to understand him. He believed in "cutting through the mud" and would directly call people, now matter what level they were at.
There are a few bundles missing. They’ve been stealing off trains in Chicago. But I guess bundles of siding wouldn’t be as exciting as a big screen tv.
I remember doing some work on FSRR in Mexico. Carloads of lumber were worth more than car loads of beer or VOlkswagens the local thieves. As far as missing, sometimes based on the order the dimensional loads like these don't load out full. Also possible the destination carrier has a weight issue on the branch.
Very nice to see a little Foxy video. There hasn't been too much around about our new local shortline!!
The FOXY Facebook group page is a good place.
I lived in Bellevue for a few years and watched the Foxy take over for the CN. Chased it to Denmark many times. Thx KB
And thank you for watching and commenting. Glad you can relate to it.
Excellent video my friends 😊awesome 😮 Greeting 🙋
Greetings. Appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
Great video. Love teh sound and the angle.
Thanks! The angle was a result of it raining and me shooting from the car.
Good to see FOXY gaining business.
Let's hope it sticks. The poor lumber guy had 12 cars on the train and can only take 5 at a time.

That train rolls past my daughters home in Bellevue every morning.
Well, every other morning-LOL

As always, glad to accommodate and good to hear from you.
Nice looking engines!
Yes, we could have worse to look at
That Bee a Killer catch!
LOL - Thanks Mr Kazoo !!
Short and sweet
Loving all that lumber for Dufeck!
Unless you are Andy and have to unload them all-LOL
it would be cool to see every one of there trains this size
The three main customers all just happened to get a big influx of cars at once.
Thanks Killer Bee for a long FOXY train!!
It had to be done - I am not aware of one this long (to Denmark-Bellevue, that is) previously

They basically had cars for three customers - for some reason, all three had a big influx together.
A nice catch
Was worth getting up early for.
Nice catch
All three customers happened to have a heavy day all at once.
A wee bit wobbly over this old jointed rail, but not too shabby. I guess they have a speed restriction on (this portion, if not all of) this line.
"Good for 10 (mph)"
👍! !! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Liquid nitrogen and bulk fertilizer to the coop and beans/corn on the return trip.
Whomever applied the stripes on the noses of those leasers wasn’t too concerned about orienting them consistently. 😂
And I'm waiting for the medford line to be re-activated. Foxy hasn't been nice With the Medford line.
I've had 74 cars back to Wausau on 305....
I should have clarified that the 33 cars was probably a record for the GB101. Ya, 305 can be heavy into Wausau when things come together just right.
@@killerbee6310 No need, Brian. Keep doing your thing, we'll be okay over here without the internet accolades. LOL.

I enjoyed filming it, despite the rain. Thank you as always
Did you ever meet or have an encounter with Hunter Harrison?

@ I respected the guy. He revolutionized the industry.
