What a funny commercial, especially when that kid started blowing raspberries just because his mommy tried to make him eat his vegetables.😂😂😂😂😅lol!!! Oh, my gosh! That is so cute and funny!
Yes it was commercials back then was better then the ones today, today it's less of the programs & more commercials, back then it was the other way around.
This aired 2 months before I was born. I loved this show as a child. I used to beat my entire family at the home game. I owned every edition ever released. I don’t remember Hugh Downs as host, only Jack Narz. The version with Trebek wasn’t authentic to me since the board only had 25 squares and wasn’t even real, just CGI. I have seen three dozen revivals of Passwod, PYL, Pyramid; I wish ABC would bring Concentration back too, and with Dan Abrams as host.
Hugh Downs was everywhere. He barely had time to catch his breath between doing Today and Concentration. And always that glib, calm style.

I loved this show as a kid too and I was so thrilled to get the home version of the game. And Hugh Downs was the host that I remember.
It's Tuesday, October 3, 1967.
I hope not!
Polident. Quit smoking. Problem solved.
The first contestant sounds as boring as a tub of lard. The way she calls the numbers, doesn't seem to be having fun at all.
Remember, in 1967 dollars they were playing for real money. Never mistake a shark's staredown for boredom.
