Nishant Nandan Mishra Cheers for this, been searching for "what should i think about during meditation" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Ganlizabeth Preliminary Genie - (do a search on google )? It is a good one off product for discovering how to get abundant success using meditation without the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my partner got excellent results with it.
Meditation is just life changing. I meditate daily, if I miss a day or so I really notice a difference. I feel so much better and have more energy after meditating....life is more effortless. The ability to REWIRE YOUR THINKING through meditation is such a GIFT.
I’ll have to say, once I started meditating regularly I’ve become calmer and more patient. My problems haven’t gone away of course but I approach them differently now.
I have practiced meditation for most of my life and i dont go on social media unless i have to, i try very hard to not compare myself, i dont hang around with people who are not good for me and even though i get stressed i can sort my own problems out by sitting quietly for 20 mins every few days.
I meditate daily , as I go to the gym … I want my body and mind both to be strong and flexible so that I am able to adapt and manage every situation with calmness and inner peace❤
Let me put this in an "I" statement: "If I meditate regularly, I will have peace." The world is not my business and not under my control. My choice to meditate is.
Beautifully explained the need of a mindful mind and the technique that keeps the mind , mindful - meditation 👌👌 It’s our responsibility to keep ourselves at peace and happy , world will automatically become peaceful and happy ❤️
What to do about lacking motivation to meditate Simple Meditation "Life Hack" - that I learned in my ashram. A lot of us out here who have been practicing meditation daily for years, run into a meditation hour where we simply have zero motivation to meditate. There is a simple "hacK" that helps these situations. And it can actually apply to a lot of things beyond meditation. So, let's say your standard meditation is a 15 minute session or 30 minutes or 45 minutes. And you just can't bring yourself to do it that one day. What do you do? Well, you can trick your mind into "allowing you to meditate." What you do is say to yourself that this day, you will only meditate for 2 minutes. Then, immediately your mind relaxes and says, "well, I can do 2 minutes, that is nothing." And then, you sit down for those 2 minutes. Now, most of the time, once into meditation for 2 minutes, you will actually feel like it is not big deal to continue. And then you go for 5 minutes and 15 minutes and you are off into a regular session. And sometimes, those 2 minutes don't gel into that further meditation. And you can take that day to just meditate those 2 minutes or maybe 5 minutes.
I'm enthralled by this content. I recently enjoyed a similar book, and I was truly enthralled. "Reclaiming Connection: The Journey of a Digital Detox" by Joshua Ember
The single most important tip is stop trying to control the mind, the mind has a life of its own. The day you realize that your mind thinks for itself it will be one of the most eye opening experiences in your life . That’s how you know you did transcendental meditation . Just make sure your not high so you won’t be confused as to did that really happened or was it the drugs
Very well said on Meditation , I practiced first Vipassana mediation ,now I practice TM transcendental mediation, 30 mns twice a day, very useful .you can get more information on both meditation practices at U tube and can get benefits ,really every one must do meditation daily twice a day .thanks to Dr ,Bhat for this session . Regards
Who feels feelings.. 🤷🏻♂️🤔 Anything anyone does is to feel good. I’d much rather feel god than not. .. “Thoughts are creating my emotions I am in control of my thoughts how I react to events is my responsability and it is great cause I can chose to be happy in any circumstance”..
in the 1800s, Americans said how are you and meant it. We had plagues for godsakes, and we would ask genuinely how you were feeling, how things were going at home.
Maybe we should start talking to our brain, maybe we should use it as a secretary instead of a boss. Tell the brain what you want and learn how to ignore it.
People with physical limitations may not be able to participate in certain meditative practices involving movement. Along with yogic practices one can also use some herbal preparations from Planet Ayurveda for betterment. So, you can try simple breathing practices which calm down your system, brain and body.
The inventor of meditation wanted the skill (meditation skill) to be FREE (and available) for everyone! If we have to pay to learn this SKILL; then it would be like paying someone to learn how to make KADHA recipe for COLD. It's one thing to keep cetrizine/ fexofenadine etc. patented and pricey; but let's not make the MEDITATION skill/ KADHA recipe so EXPENSIVE; like they are patented TOO..
"If I don't use the mind, the mind will use me" what absolute truth!!
UA-cam is a powerful tool. You just need to learn how to use it.
Great Talk!
I truly believe that if we all meditated every day, we would have world peace...
Amen
I agree. 🙋🏾♀️
And a lot of self awareness
World peace within the mind. But it wouldn’t solve world peace. At the end of the day, your conscious mind is not the king of the palace.
Dalai Lama says this
I loved that knife metaphor (your mind is like a sharp instrument in which most people don't even know they should have control over"
This video is awesome. Including an example of meditation was thoughtful.
If no one has told you this today, let me. I love you. I’m proud of you. Everything’s gonna be okay!
