    This is such a good tutorial and I think it's perfect for people that are just starting out with sewing and dressing historically or historically inspired! Easy to sew and it will give a lot of outfits a historical touch!

    Such a simple video. Thank you for making this. If you didn’t already, tag Ascot. No one else has made a video like this on the Ascot side. This is such a wonderful tutorial. I’ve already watched it three times; and I’m ready to make mine. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    BTW, audio is great 😉

    I love this tutorial. I'm making my son a Western Sherriff Halloween costume and he wanted to add a cravat to it! Thank you for sharing. :)

    Hi. How long do you make the narrow box of the cravat? My husband has 17.5 inch collar size. Should I make narrow part 18 inches?

      I happened to make a video on how to tie them! Good example of it on a person. ua-cam.com/video/w5_54Qc61Ow/v-deo.html

    What should be the length of fabric before and after sewing

    • @EzraOctober
      @EzraOctober  3 роки тому +1

      The ones I was sewing were 54” (the width of the silk I bought) and ended up being about 53” from tip to tip. You can really make them any length you want.
      You can do two pieces and sew them together at the back of the neck before you sew the length of the cravat.

    What heat setting did you use to iron?

    • @EzraOctober
      @EzraOctober  3 роки тому +2

      The lowest possible, without the steam option. Sometimes I even put a piece of fabric between the cravat and the iron.
