Something about the feeling of a dying fire. The glow weakens but the heat is still so strong. The dryness of the air and the smell of smoke combined with the burning pain of said smoke filling your lungs and stinging your eyes. What a horrible way to go.

honestly, every floor of repentance is terrible in its own way, downpours depressing, dross is disgusting, mines in frustrating, ashpits uncomfortable, mausoleum strikes fear, gehenna gives a sense of dread, corpse is all of the above.

Fun fact: I have beaten mother with 4 different characters and probably went to mines more then 20 times and I still havent unlcoked ashpit because of the stupid spider boss which i have never encountered
