Grew up in Florida. Biggest wall of bucks I ever seen there came from my brother in law. He said find something that’s makes them move thru an area. Florida doesn’t have much nutrition. Try finding a bunch of private land that people most like feed deer in and hunt around those spots or position yourself to intercept. I’ve always thought that the moss bluff and Eaton lake areas would be good spots to figure out better.
Goethe is ok during the week, during archery before they know you are hunting. By the time rifle comes in, after muzzleloader, you are lucky to see any deer move at all, does/ fawns, anything. The dogs keep the place pretty cleaned out except a long private property edges. If you find any sign you are close to where one lives, very little sign in Goethe. Hog central though. I love n scout here all year. I'm amazed at the lack of deer in interior. Bi a$$ gators in waters too. Be careful in swamps in there. Bears too
Really cool finding that cat face on that pine! I found a Herty pot in Croom WMA that some hogs had rooted up. So great to find something possibly 100 years old. I’d love to know the story that pot could tell us of old Florida. Thanks Peter and as always thank you for good safety information and an enjoyable video. Blessings
Glad your out there enjoy it
Goethe is my new archery spot.
good luck, going next year for sure.......
