At least the guy that shot him first was a sportsman and congratulated you on killing the buck. He may have never caught up to him and Coyotes would have got him and he would have suffered and no real Hunter wants that. I don’t know how you guys do it up there but it’s always the one that puts the deer down that gets the kill. Hate that it was that way as I am sure the other guy hadn’t gave up on the buck and had him bleeding. I often wonder how many of the bucks killed are the one you are tracking. I know you want to find a big track and follow him until you kill him but bucks run the same areas and that was like the forth one you had jumped Thad day. Still a buck to be proud of and I am sure the other guy was a little unhappy at the outcome but sounds like he was a Sportsman and took it in stride. He could have got in a fuss and demanded the deer. Glad it turned out good for you and you have nothing to be disappointed about. I wonder how many bucks get jumped and run right into another tracker. That’s Deer hunting!
