I tried to was some yeast from a carboy last night. I am not getting the split that u got. I get a beer/water layer then what looks more like the solids. there isnt a milky yeasty layer. I added a little less than a gal boiled/cooled water to the carboy, swirled & let it sit, them transfr'd the top portion to a 1 gal growler. when I swirled in the growler, the sep was just 1/4 beer/water & the rest was mucky looking solids? tips on what I might be doing wrong? HELP ME DAWSON!

That seems like a much easier way to wash yeast than what I've been reading about..think I'll give it a try.
I brought this useless app. Doesn't work, but straight away wanting more than twice the amount I paid up up date! Not happy at all. A waste of money
