Fantastic video, Chris! Your photos were phenomenal! I agree with you, I really liked the last image but all of them were great. I really like the composition of this waterfall with the different terraces. I appreciate you sharing your thought processes on your decisions on the compositions. Thanks for sharing your excursion!
Hey Walter I'm glad you liked it 👍I'm glad you found my composition talk through useful, It's a great place definitely returning when there's more water so should get something different. Stay safe mate 👍
Fantastic captures indeed! I think we all are our worst critics...I must say that I like them all! I am very partial to a great waterfall...just like sitting and watching and listening as they are forever changing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and procedures...hope you are looking forward to a wonderful week...take great care...Bruce and Otis
Morning Chris, not a waterfall I don't think I have seen on video or online although if it's near Malahm I am sure it's been covered, what it called? I would imagine in full spate it would be pretty dramatic. Some nice images.. my preferences would be for slighly shorter exposures, I find when the scene is darker getting the balance between enough lligh and a texture I like a bit difficult at trimes - without the obvious bumping up the iso and ditching the filters of course. Not intentionally but last few shoots have been waterfall/cascades based. The image at 5:00 was the best of the day for me. atb Alan
Hey Alan it's Scaleber Force Waterfall. Yeah the d3100 does struggle with low light situations and noise, with its age, that's why I've had to go for a longer shutter speed to get some detail in the shadows. I should have taken some without the filter to see how it looked. Going to return in the autumn when there should be more water etc. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Nice one Chris! Superb images, the last one especially!
Thanks Robin, I'm glad you liked them 👍
Good Evening, Great waterfalls Video, thanks for sharing, have a great weekend
