As a craft beer drinker I’m really enjoying the Octoberfest beers I got from Beers of Europe. I’m currently enjoying the Lowenbrau Oktoberfest on the PerfectDraft and it’s beautiful. I think I’ve had too many IPAs, I’m really starting to appreciate good continental Lagers / beers. Cracking review 👌🏼
can't wait to see what beers are on draught at the plymouth oktoberfest i'm going to. hopefully they are as good as this selection. had to order the beer separately on trembling madness, as it wasn't in a box deal. the pauliner was the box deal. how fast did you down these first two, dangerous!
I like that you actually quaff it like a beer. Some reviewers take little sips and swish around, which im sure helps with tasting but come on drink the damn thing like its meant to be consumed. Also Im loving having paulaner at my local corner store here on the west coast of u.s, their pils is my go to daily beer, but this came in last week and ive been really enjoying it. I think i still prefer the brighter, drier, more hoppy pils.
Cheers Paul, ordered a case from Majestic. Thanks for the tip. I've ordered from Trembling Madness before too and their service is excellent. A little expensive but they have a wide range of beers, next day delivery (free if over £75) and really well packaged. Their mixed box of German beers was lovely.
I love Paulaner standard hell lager, I tried so many other standard lagers and no other is like Paulaner hell lager for me :D. Everyone has different palette, can't wait to try this Paulaner Oktoberfest, but as you sir mentioned that's it more easy drinking, I would not be optimistic if it's better but who knows... I can barely imagine what should they do better to make it better than original lager for me. My friends so many times give another lager beers who they think it's better and with blindfold till this day I always choose Paulaner Hell lager to taste better, for me it's like this lol
Agreed the standard Lager is gorgeous stuff really need to be trying this one though could happilly drink the lager version untill they day a die superb with a wee goldie beside it
Never compare Munich 6 to Weinstephaner. Weinstephaner will always win nomatter what. I compare them to one another. Not all big 6 brews are good IMO. I hear Augustina is the best and Paulaner is extremely popular and has the most popular Oktoberfest. They also serve the Munich hells because it was their original offering back when and ppl love it aswell as the Oktoberfest beer. Paulaner is arguably one if not the most popular beer tents at the event.
@@paulsbeerreviews I drove 3 5 hrs yesterday to get hofbrau October's beer. Fucking bloody hell.....its fucking gorgeous!....blows the Pauline away. I wished I got more than 40 pints lol
I agree, the Weihenstephaner Festbier is probably better. Bavarian "Helles" is rarely as good as the regular Pilsners made in the other parts of Germany, like Krombacher. If you want something like that - don't go to Bavaria. If you want Weizen - than Bavaria is the place.
Watching this review on a Wednesday morning before work, and now I feel like having a beer 🍺 😂

Cracking review 👌🏼
Agree Gaz. The Lowenbrau Oktoberfest on the PD is beautiful.
Same for me this time of year. Then back on the winter beers 🍻
Got a torp of the Paulander Octoberfest for this weekend, looking forward to it.
I imagine that will be superb. Enjoy 🍻
You can tell when the beer is good by the amount your gulp in the first sink!! Ha
Haha I notice he drinks pretty deeply with the first gulp every time; think that’s part of his review process
Your local Aldi may have some in the middle aisle

Agree with everything you said Paul. I had this last week but didn't review it. I drank this so quick and wanted more.
Another belter!! Great beer
This one just reminded me of a pilsner
I need this Oktoberfest box in my life. Just one banger after another 👌 🍻
I wish Weinstephaner was in Oktoberfest
This is a true gem
Enjoyed the review. Just ordered a box of 20 bottles from Majestic.

Love to try that. The original one is great.
The box you bought isn’t available on the website anymore. Just letting everyone know, in case they went to try and buy it like me.
You should try it on the Torp Paul, it is different gravy
I compared 5 of 6 Oktoberfest - Beers in one of my Videos. Paulaner was my Number One.
