- This is an overview of how I build a motorcycle frame from scratch without using any plans. I wasn't feeling too well and when it came to time to start recording the audio and between the snotty nose and the brain fog it wasn't going too well. So I used a text to speech AI from TextMagic to read the script as I wasn't doing great at it and the AI was free. Part 2 to follow...

What type of metal u used for the frame ??
I use normalised cfs 3 seamless tube. Basically the same stuff that they make roll cages out of. If you're in America, you can't get that, so I'd use DOM in that case.

Stick welding possible? 😔
Bottom line there is really if you have to ask, then no.
I will say when I was a kid, my Dad did some pretty radical surgery to some frames building me dirt bikes using an arc welder. The important thing to remember there though is that he knew he was good enough with a stick welder (big old oil cooled arc welder too) to do the job safely enough for his 12 year old kid to beat the crap out of around a field. I do see a lot of Indonesian guys building small chops using stick welders on the other hand. If, for some reason I felt the need to stick weld a frame, I'd design the frame with as many straight welds as possible, so a rectangular box section top tube for instance so you had long straight, flat welds either side of the head stock, that sort of thing.

If you meant plans for a jig, I don't have plans for that either, because that limits you to the size of material you have to use for the plans to be effective. But there's a video on building one here...

In this context "plan" is a noun, not a verb. :-)
Why did you use an AI voice? It’s so bad. And it seems like you have good info to share but the narrator makes this video unwatchable.
Because basically I have some health issues, and I make these kind of videos when I'm having a bad day. I can write the script and get the AI to "read" it in less time than it takes me to make a decent recording of the first paragraph between the coughing and the brain fog.
