She just has a voice of an elder lady in the 80’s her voice was higher and then it became lower with time. I personnage prefer her older voice there’s something much more sexy :)
Thats her real voice in AHS. Your voice changes ad you age, but hers changed alot, but she looks just as beautiful, she aged so well and without surgery. Your voice tends to change as you age in both sexes. Puberty and around your 60s. Post menopause for women and men just tend to get more husky in general.
I just saw her on Broadway and I wish you could, too. I knew she'd be great, but I wasn't ready for what a fine voice she has for the theater. I could hear every word, but she didn't shout or appear to be emoting. Gabriel Byrne was her leading man, and he, too, could not have been better. Jessica Lange should have been cast in the film of "August, Osage County" instead of The Meryl Machine ("Watch me ACT!").
Clare Quilty Lange and Streep have been at it since they started out in 1976 as one would always win a role over the other. Seems both always go up for the same roles. It may seem Streep has been more successful, but you'd be surprised how many roles she has lost out to Lange. Streep has openly been complimentary towards Lange's acting, but Jessica has been mum about Meryl.
shihlin1 I think Jessica Lange probably has better things to do than comment on other actresses. I like Streep about half the time, but leaving the theater thinking "Wow, The Meryl Machine sure can act" instead of thinking about the woman she was supposed to be playing isn't my idea of serving the material.
And that should tell you what? Think about it. If two actresses are not taking snarky shots at each other, if Streep actually complemented Lange's work, and if Lange hasn't even mentioned what she thinks of Streep, how could they "have been at it"? Feud fanatics are rampant these days and it's getting old. We have two fine actresses here who possess integrity and all people seem interested in is some imagined feud between them.
