I have used this spray (following his exact instructions) and literally sprayed my entire house, top to bottom, inside and out a few months ago. This spray did NOT stain, and it got rid of my spider problem. Good luck.

I made this substance yesterday but used lavender oil because that's what I had on hand. I sprayed all the cracks to my doors that lead outside. I sprayed all the window sills as well. Pleased to say I have not seen a spider once today and my home has been crawling with them daily since its gotten hotter outside! Thank you so much for this video!😊
felt something crawling on my arm.. hoping it was an ant like last time I shone my phone light onto my arm to find a inch sized spider... I swatted at it leaving a scratch on my arm ... then proceeded to throw my phone in the same motion lol jumped up ran to the light switch (no glasses on) but still managed to find him crawling on the floor... threw a cup over him then grabbed a dust pan and beat him til he stopped moving. sorry but I'm not sorry.

I'm watching this because just a second ago I saw a spider in my bed. Which I was sitting in. Under the blanket. Scared the SHIT OUT OF ME!
I am watching this as well since last night next to my face on the wall was a big ass spider, and today one was running around and almost climbed my leg, needless to say I was strongly discouraged from burning down the house.

Got bit by a black widow once, felt fine but my friends took me to the hospital. Got there the doctors did tests and found I was immune to the venom.

Im definetly going to make this! I was in bed and I felt something on my arm so I started slaping my arm and ran to the lightswitch. Nothing was on my arm, buta heugeee spider was dead on my bed. Pulled my bed and everything away from the walls and stood I the middle of my room for like half hour -.-

I retract my previous comment, no spider has ever been as big as the ones under the roof tiles🤣🔫 my dad passes me the tiles and I just scream all day, I did break a few tiles that we needed but the spiders didn’t get on me💁🏼♀️🤣 we only moved in a couple months ago, I bet our neighbours hate us from me screaming because of spiders every weekend doing the roof🤣🔫

just got up to check on my son and there was a big brown recluse on his wall. he saw it and started freaking out. im so scared of spiders I keep seeing it in my head. I always have to pretend I'm not afraid of stuff for the kids even tho I feel like I'm gonna faint and run through a wall at the same time.

Funny AND informative. great video. it's early Sept. here in Kansas and we have had a few wet days. just today the local news station online feed wrote about beware of black widows and recluse spiders coming inside houses. will get this setup and start cleaning up the clutter in and around the house and start spraying...

It really works. I do the entire perimeter inside my house and they were gone in a few days. Re-apply every month or two.

I was moving bags of wood chips and they were in 3 stacks if 3 each. At the bottom of one stack I found a bigass spider and it had all the eggs with it. Between that and the other 6 bags I found 10-15 smaller spiders and the first big spiders husband I killed them all. I feel unsafe. The hive is after me. My home is compromised.
Just move on other way around it haha!

@@rosemariebuchanan7683 don't pick on @Skitsun. I know what they mean, even pictures or videos of spiders can cause anxiety in arachnaphobes. More ppl need to be aware of this. When you come here for help to get rid of spiders, sometimes it's because you can't bare to see them. That's all.
I moved into an apt a few yrs ago. Was putting dishes, pots and pans away. I turned around after pulling out drawer on bottom of my stove and there RIGHT behind me on the kitchen counter was a GIANT BROWN RECLUSE. I MEAN IT WAS THE SIZE OF A SAUCER. It just was staring at me, like one and a half ft away from me. I had nothing there to kill it with. All I could think of was it’s gonna jump in my face and bite me. The thing looked like it was twenty years old. It has almost red long ass legs that were like almost three full inches long. So while I was praying for protection, I slowly lifted my foot up and very slowly took my flip flop off and killed the crap out of it. Like twenty times. Then promptly got in my car and went to co-op and bought 8 brown recluse spider traps, some spray just for them and a giant sprayer. I sprayed the total complete inside of that apt, plus the outside. Bricks, dirt, holes, windows. Everything. Plus I did not sleep for months. I hate hate HATE spiders!

I boil one tablespoon of dried lavender and peppermint leaves and add a mint extract as well. Fresh lemon juice is great too!

Just moved to a new house and it has so many brown recluse spiders. The other night my husband had just layed in bed and a brown recluse started crawling on his head. And my little pom pom likes eating bugs, just today she was playing with a brown recluse! I hate them. I'm just glad she didn't get bit. I will try to this. Thanx for the video.

I've used a similar recipe for years. I live on a lake and the harmless spiders around here are very prolific web spinners. The webs are what annoys me most. It does cut down noticeably on the webs indoors or outdoors in a very well covered area... meaning it's easily washed off by the rain, dew etc... A different approach is needed areas where the elements are a factor.

Actually here in Western NY were we get harsh winters. The only time I start seeing spiders in my house is during Spring and Summer.
They never show them selfs in or outside in the cold mouths.

In the US, you can buy bug bombs that spray a mist out that kills spiders and bugs. You have to be really careful to follow the directions exactly. You remove your family, friends, and pets, no food items or dishes sitting out, follow the directions exactly. Get everything prepared, start the aerosol can of spray off, and scoot out of the house. All doors and windows closed. Don’t come back until the directions say it’s okay. When you return, you open the windows and doors to air the house out, and wipe everything down where food will be. It really works!

i recommend adding odorban to this as well it has eucalyptus in it !
thanks for the video I went to a health food store in town sold about 8 bucks an ounce and it left the house smelling good and I haven't seen any more spiders.

I've been using this for awhile now and it seems to work but only for so long. And I'm finding them in my bathtub.. I need like a 5 gallon bucket of this stuff. One bottle only last like one spray around my house (baseboards, doors, windows, etc.). With Autumn here; guess I need to make two spray bottles at a time so I don't run out and can spray about once a week.

i had a few in my house.i cleaned alot and thought i cleaned everwhere.but then i cleaned more and found webs behind radiaters.on the front of house above doors windows etc.they get in corners alot.since then not seen so many.and i sprayed white vinegar that seems to work aswell in corners.
Spider webs are somewhat irritating. This will ruin your mood when you see spiders around your garden or even at home. Gladly, as I heard this information on how to repel spiders I was surprised because it helps me a lot to get rid off of it. Thank you for sharing this!

It's probably in your hair.
For the ceiling I use a glass jar now. It is very affective. If you try anything else they ALWAYS immediately drop down or fall to the ground and run. With the jar just put it up the ceiling around the spider, slide the jar lip gently (not trying to kill it) to the spider, it will drop in the jar. Quickly put the lid on and now you have a spider pet you can keep or release or you can do what I sometimes do and capture a few spiders in the same jar and see them eat each other. After a few days you start sympathizing with the spider that keeps winning and I tend to release them outside eventually.

I also lightly spray this on my outside lights to keep flying bugs, a food source to them, at bay and regularly "zone clean" the entire house (like spring cleaning, only more regularly, which is much faster/easier), and this works really well. I use a more concentrated version with lavender, orange, peppermint, citronella and lemongrass as well as more soap (suffocate to them), because we just moved into a newly built house with black widows (and their young) and moved from a previous house with even more there. Might mix in borox if I need to (with a mask), but so far so good.
replace your outdoor porch lights with "bug lights". it's an inexpensive bulb that has a amber coating on them, bugs can't see that spectrum of light and they won't be attracted by it cause they can't see it. you can find them at Lowe's for sure and maybe home depot.
You don't need large amounts of soap since it is only used to break the surface tension of the water and allow the rest of the liquid to cover evenly. For a great fruit fly trap just put about a quarter cup of vinegar and a drop of dish detergent in some water and set it out in a container with some holes in the top like a glass grated cheese shaker. Leave it on your kitchen counter and change it out at least twice a week. You will see the flies on the bottom of the container. Without the detergent the flies float on the surface and don't drown or worse yet fly out.

Can I use ordinary hand soap or scented dish soap as a surfactant? If not, is there other alternatives or does it not matter?

Once a year I spray with Bayer 12 month insect spray. No spiders or any other bug lives here. And this product can be used indoors and outdoors. I apply it just like a pest control person would ... where the walls meet the floor and around the door thresholds that open to the outside.
Once a week I put peppermint oil on my broom & do the ceiling , walls& windows.... Everywhere, I missed 1WEEK and just watched a brown recluse galavant in through my shotty window.. it's a run down house in a beautiful neighborhood in paradise, Sarasota!!🌴🌞 so I put boric acid & diametricearth near the windows, peppermint , white vinegar while cleaning (they hate vinegar) & now I have 99% less 🕷🐜

How do you prevent webs from clinging to surfaces? A spider simply cannot set up a web or attach a thread if the web thread cannot attach to a surface.

So rn I am living in a townhome that is molding,filled with bugs, and stinks and i am terrified of spiders, I dropped something behind my bed the other day and I looked then there was this huge spider and in the end I stood on the dresser while me sister tried to kill it and now we don’t know where it went and now I am temporarily sleeping on the couch
