    Finally answers for the issue that bugged me for the past six months!! The first day I got it it was the best sounding speakers from a laptop I had, and the second day I opened it and, its gone!! The bottom ones just dont work. But I am studying abroad so I might need to try to fix it myself. But at least there is a fix!! Nice video

      @@tno1219 I went to Best Buy actually and they said the sound cars was completely screwed. They covered the cost for a new one though. Got that in the mail yesterday and works like a charm.

    hey @ProCon Grey, you have no idea how annoyed was with my speakers problem, it will work fine for a small amount of time then suddenly become muffled, at times without AC it would keep working but when i turn on charger again it would muffled, as i know quite a bit about so i just clean installed my audio drivers multiple drivers in win 10 & 11 but no fix, searched internet for people searching for similar issues all lead to a not fixed end, i took this in my hand and opened the back panel and tried to fix it myself as i thought i may have accidentally hit a wire, so after searching multiple times using many keywords on youtube for the past couple of months to get any related video, once more i searched today for this issue and came across your video, a big help as i was figuring out where this laptop has speaker cable. Thank you very much, i'll test this out for a week as i am still not at that point to fully accept that it is all fixed but a very big thanks to you bro!

    If you can't find it - it's a gray cube, right above the battery on the right side. If you use a screwdriver or your fingernail to press gently, you don't need to remove the battery.

    It did indeed work after completely unplugging the speakers and carefully reconnecting the plugs 💯%. I only tried to press it once and it didn't help, but completely disconnecting and connecting it was like that. The sound became weaker after clicking on the touch panel, as with other users.

    I am having the same issue but it’s on and off. So while working on my laptop, randomly the bottom speakers auto gets cut off. I have to shut down my laptop and wait for atleast one hour , that’s when the audio gets back to normal. Any suggestions on what is wrong?😕
    And this started just 2 weeks back when i was working on premiere pro.

    • @procongrey8833

      Could be a loose contact (like in my case) that perhaps gets triggered when the laptop gets hot. Open the back panel and check the contacts or alternatively call customer care.

    hey fellow zephyrus users, about the speakers cable, for the past couple of months, it's been giving the same issue again and I followed the same fix as suggested in the video, but it only gets fixed for a few hours and again it goes back to being muffled, what to do? please help me out on this and wanted to know that should I try to unplug it fully then fitting it back again like some of you in the comments?

      Hey, yes do try and unplug and reconnect the speaker cable. If it does not get fixed take it to Asus. Could be an issue with the cable coming loose while the laptop is being used/speakers playing. Good luck.

      I'd say try calling the Asus customer care since I assume your G14 is within the warranty period. They sent a technician home in a week and got it fixed on the spot. Likely you can do it yourself too if you are comfortable opening up your laptop and having a check.

      Opening the laptop will not void your warranty. You can open it and check the connections. In my case it was only a lose contact. If it still does not work then call Asus to send a technician.

    • @procongrey8833
      @procongrey8833  4 роки тому

      Depends on your requirements. There are cheaper laptops but will be bigger and heavier; there are lighter laptops but will be less powerful. If you are not planning to game or edit videos then you can drop the dedicated graphics card and go for a good Ryzen 5 4000 series laptop. Will be light and reasonably priced with a serviceable on-board graphics. and good battery life.

    • @procongrey8833

    Hey man nice review :) I just sold my 3300$ msi laptop and luckily I just lost only 300$ the reason I sold it is because of the sound quality, it sounds like utter shit I mean the speakers and plugged headphones even Bluetooth headphones such as AirPods sounded worse than an old nokia phone. And to say that I paid that shit load of money on this garbage is frustrating. So please help me out here with an honest answer. Does the laptop sound good? Is the sound coming from the headphones affected or just as good as its quality? Can u compare it an iPhone sound quality? I know so many questions😅 but I swear that msi laptop fucked my ear so hard I lost faith in humanity. Finally, I just wanna say u got some charisma that I’ve never seen in an Indian person, good for u🙃

    • @procongrey8833
      @procongrey8833  3 роки тому

      Hey, thanks for the questions. Let me split this into three parts (i) Audio quality from the laptop speakers - Excellent (ii) Audio from Bluetooth headphones - Average (iii) Audio from wired headphones - Good when it works. Now it could be a driver issue but at times audio plays over the speakers while my headphones are plugged in and even digging into settings can fix it. Would recommend using Bluetooth headphones.
