ProCon - is all about the space between 'Pro'fessional & 'Con'sumer. The tech, tools, gadgets and games that 'professional consumers' will be interested in.
In addition, most decisions that require investment of time, money or a combination of the two often go through a mental game of 'Pro's vs 'Con's. I hope to make this a bit easier for you, at least for the topics I'll be covering.

⚠ 🛑 Customer Beware! Avoid City Clutch Product! ⚠🛑 I bought the City Clutch from Gandhinagar in November 2024 for around INR 50K-55K, which was reasonable if it delivered on its promises. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing due to poor management and misleading information about the product’s capabilities. 😤 The City Clutch management team initially assured me the product would provide basic hill assist support also (of course with no rollback) even for CNG and petrol cars. However, this has not been the case. The car rolls back even on slight upward slopes on regular roads (forget about driving on hills and ghat), posing a significant safety risk. You can not drive CNG car without handbrake in city flyover or normal roads also. Misleading claims and inconsistent communication have made this purchase extremely frustrating. Safety should never be compromised for the sake of selling a product. Had a really disappointing experience with City Clutch due to mismanagement, misinformation, and product limitations. Here are the major issues I faced: 1⃣ Not effective on normal slopes or flyovers-your car will roll back, putting you at risk of an accident! Using the handbrake for a basic slope isn’t practical, yet the technical team and owner may even blame you, saying it’s a driving issue. 2⃣ Extra charges for a GST invoice for a product - unexpected and unfair. Unethical way of business! 3⃣ The product marketed as universal but later informed it’s mainly for people with specific needs, not regular drivers. 4⃣ Misleading info: They’ll later claim it’s not suited for CNG or petrol vehicles due to torque issues, despite knowing my vehicle’s details upfront. 5⃣ Poor support: Installation and future help depend solely on their limited management, with no local support available. 6⃣ Low social media presence-no recent posts or timeline updates on Instagram, Facebook, UA-cam, or Twitter, which raises doubts about their confidence in product quality and service. This experience has left me disappointed and frustrated. I hope this helps others make an informed decision before purchasing. 🛑I got a partial refund after multiple pleading/messages and phone calls. Good management and clear information are key to building customer trust, but unfortunately, this experience has been lacking both. To anyone considering this product, be prepared for a bumpy ride. Thank you for a detailed review sir. Does this needs servicing like kind of health check yearly or some sort of after time frame. ?
I don't think it needs any servicing. Seems like a robust system. Working fine since I have this installed over a year and a half ago.
Thank you! Question, where exactly do you place the photos? I tried one, and it was upside down and cut off.
Please provide Mobile number

where would u put the new earths and snoppys in your list my friend?
Hey , Hope you are doing well !! Just a small question, what is you review as you've been using it from almost last 1 year ? Have you facedAny issues in last 1 year ? Would you recommend it today if anybody like to get it install. Also what is your proportion of driving in city traffic or highway. Thanks in advance Happy motoring 😊
Hi there, I've not faced any issue with it till date. I do typically only use it when there's heavy traffic. Otherwise I switch back to full manual. My only minor complaint is that it's a bit slow to release the clutch from first gear. This is fine for bumper to bumper traffic or if I'm on an incline but if I'm at a traffic signal then the slow gear release on first can be a bit annoying. I'd say it's a 70:30 split of city: highway.
Only need confirmation from ur side are there any wirecuts while installing it. Thanks man really appreciate ur effort 🤜🏼🤛🏼 😊
I don't think so. It was a pretty simple install. Best to reach out to City clutch to clarify.
@@procongrey8833how is your experience now with city clutch ? Is it still working as expected ? Planning to install this in my Brezza CNG car , do you think it will work well with this ???
In uphill and if its bumper to bumper traffic,in first gear moving ahead is a hell of a task, cannot lift hand brake every second and release to move forward slowly. The manual half cltuch usage helps. So my sincere advice its good only for plain road conditions where there's no chance of rolling back.
Actually my experience is different. I have a diesel so it has good low end torque. I simply press the brake when I need to stop and lift the brake and it crawls forward. It's quite comfortable. Not sure if this will damage my clutch in the long run but I have zero fatigue.
@@procongrey8833 Agree, diesel vehicles have good torque and pick up is good,in petrol vehicles have to press the accelerator which is risky,as chance of rushing forwards. Mine is Automate India located at Pune, and better not to go with it,though youtube reviews are fancy by some it's misleading. Have corresponded with them, number of times but not of much help.
@@procongrey8833 You r right, in diesel vehicles because of torque generated it's more powered. In petrol that's not the case. So you are able to maneuver even in a uphill road with bumper to bumper conditions just thru use of brake and upon release your vehicle moves forward without need to accelerate/accelerate much. Because here what happens is uphill vehicle movement forward is hampered due to uphill and use of acceleration with brake is not that easy as on a plain surfaced road. Auto mate India Pune device not at all helpful in above conditions and number of correspondence with them didn't yield result. Would like to hear from any of users in India their experience especially Hyderabad, and the company's response to their problems.
@@kmshastri1965what I think is, this is only helpful when there's slight or no incline, if there's heavy traffic on the slope, it's better to switch it off, it might also burn the clutch

Hello sir , how is your cityclutch working it’s been a year I guess any issues till date? We have a venue and planning for it😅
Only minor issue is that I feel it's a bit slow to release the clutch in 1st gear. It's fine for bumper to bumper traffic but on clear roads when the lights change it takes a while to let go so I can change up to 2nd. On low traffic conditions I switch off the system.
Its dose not do 4800 dpi as stared on the box, check your photos you have scanned you will find it 300 0r 600 dpi not 4800 as advertised
Hey, what about the warranty in official service centre of the car? Does it get void? Since they are touching the wiring I'm a bit concerned. Any mistakes here, the car could potentially catch fire. How confident are you about these things!?
I've given the car to Hyundai for servicing after getting this installed. I told them what it is and not to mess with it. They had no issues since anyway I was out of warranty. City clutch folks told me it won't impact your warranty but best to speak with them.
Calling this a blootooth speaker is sily .
After using milage wise it is improved or decreased? After installing how many KMs you have driven? Pls revert
I've done a couple of things to my car incl ECU remap, upsized the tires so not really paid attention to milage. I don't think i can attribute much of a difference to the City clutch system.
How does half clutch work?
It's speed dependant. If you are below a threshold then it stays on half clutch. Once you increase speed it does a full clutch release.
For me the AniMe isn't even an option that shows up in Armoury crate. Why not? I have the 2023 version of the G14. I have everything up to date. Why can I not even use what's on the back of my laptop?

Hello I am kind of confused it's a long story so.. See I had been using grand i10 magna petrol till 2022 due to low milege and high fuel prices I thought of shifting to hybrid or CNG But due to hybrid cost very high I was going for aura CNG but then brezza CNG came my age is around 54 but the condition was I wanted automatic car cauz my left leg hurts now due to aging of grand i10 (2016) and pressure from my kids of new car made me purchase the 2023 brezza CNG now after 1 year elevate CNG gas came up with automatic transmission . Should I sell my brezza CNG had done modifications worth 1L in LXI variant or these days city clutch like imt cobersion kit has come so should I install that in my car ? What are your thoughts 🤔
Since your car is just a year old, selling it for the Elevate mau be a bit extreme. Perhaps speak to the city clutch guys. The install is around 25k so may be cheaper to just go for that but best to speak to them to arrange a trial or something.
Saw your video today for the first time after 9 months of its release hence it's now time for you to make a second review video of your 9 months experience
Good point, okay let me do that.
@@procongrey8833hey please tell me how the kit doing
Thank you very much, it worked for me. First I tried update drivers and unistall soundbars but it didn't work If you can't find it - it's a gray cube, right above the battery on the right side. If you use a screwdriver or your fingernail to press gently, you don't need to remove the battery.
Support this man😢
what to do if 2 or 3 Dots on back panel of Anime Matrix dont work
If you are sure it doesn't work and its within warranty, best to take it to Asus. If it's out of warranty then take a call if you can live with it.
Are you guys provide services in Navi Mumbai ?
Hahaha, I'm a customer. You should reach out to CityClutch (details in the video description). I'm sure they can do Navi Mumbai though.
I just have 1 doubt. I had test driven the demo vehicle from City Clutch last year. I see that they weld a speed sensor plate onto the rear wheel hub or somewhere nearby to get the speed data. Could you confirm me if the same has been done in your case too?
I don't recall them installing any speed sensor. The wiring set-up seemed pretty simple and it all was limited to the driver side - seat and where the OBD port is. I don't think they use the OBD port as I'm using that for my Jio motive. Best to contact City Clutch and ask.
@@procongrey8833 I have seen the demo vehicle and also got this confirmed from the vendor that they will weld a small plate at the rear wheel axle near the hub to get the wheel rotation count (functions just like the circular slotted plate for ABS in 2-wheelers). This is mandatory and the speed data cannot be logged without this.
Hi sir...is ur city clutch working well till date 🌹
Yes it's working fine. I do notice that driving for over 30 min in really bad traffic the clutch/brake fluid overheats causing the car to get sluggish while on 1st gear. It's back to normal after a cooldown. My guess is because there could be some water trapped in the fluid which boils causing that reduction in clutch bite on 1st gear. During those times i just switch off the system and drive it like normal.
@@procongrey8833 thanks for ur valuable feedback sir...🙂🙏

what is the image size that you get on x-real while watching a movie
It's a bit difficult to describe. Technically it's like having a 100 inch screen about 7 feet away or a 32 inch monitor at say 3 feet away. You can zoom or out of the screen with the Nebula software to get as much as a 200 inch screen but you'll have to move your head around a lot to see what's going on.

There is another company Automate from Bangalore, who provide a similar system.. did u consider it too..
Yes but from what I read online the CityClutch system seems smoother. I think the Automate system uses rpm to actuate the clutch pedal while CityClutch uses vehicle speed. For the most part CityClutch has been smooth except when I want to accelerate hard (on 1st gear) and then it gets bogged down a bit as there's a delay in clutch release on 1st gear.
Sir, till today how its work?? I want your feedback
It works well, I'm happy with it especially in traffic. The one issue I noticed (which could be an issue with my car and not the CityClutch system) is that driving in heavy traffic for over an hour and my clutch release on 1st gear seems down on power because the brake - clutch fluid has over heated. After this has cooled the car goes back to normal.

Same here :-\ So how are you tackling with the issue? Also, the half clutch settings which work on a plain road does not seem to work on an inclined ramp. My car crawls back when I slowly remove my foot from brake pedal.

Thanks for the review. I'm considering getting this done in my wife's Eon. She's new to driving and finds it a bit difficult to modulate the clutch pedal. Also, I don't want her to spend on a new automatic car considering the cost of new cars these days.
Makes sense. As the system controls the clutch release, new drivers won't get that jerk at the clutch bite point. More importantly new drivers can't stall the car by releasing the clutch too early as that is controlled by the system. A big benefit I've found is when on stop and go traffic on a flyover. New drivers would struggle with balancing the clutch, brake and accelerator. With this system it's so easy.
I have the xreal air glasses and oculus quest 1, i mostly use to watch movies and i have to say that xreal air glasses has an amazing image quality compared to quest 2 ( i test my nephew quest 2 to watch a movie) but now with quest 3 out with some updates on pictures quality it got my attention, also i thought the xreal was having a big problem with color saturation because it looks so red on the images and contrast very high but the problem was samsung dex on my cellphone so i test the hdmi adapter with a fire tv and the picture was close to perfect, amazing videos great for watching content on the go
I've not noticed any image issues when using Dex. Perhaps try using a plain black wallpaper (these get rendered as transparent on the Xreal Air). I've been really happy with the image quality even for reading text (at least for short durations)
Gear knob looking very unesthetic
I agree. The black tape over the touch sensor was supposed to be a temporary solution but I never got around to removing it. Plus it's only on the driver side so passengers don't see the tape.
@@procongrey8833They can find better color, quality tapes like 3M or any other higher industrial use ones with glue which doesn't run in heat etc..good to touch may be light texture.Cut a neat piece of right size and do a decent job of sticking it depending on the shape of a gaer knob. These people should pay attention to such details when they are selling a 55 k product and is going to be the main visual deterrent if not handled well.
@procongrey8833 you can also get a silicone one or a nice sofa leather one made with a small window / hole neatly finished over the sensor area.
I prefered the design of the rokid air that had no frame at the bottom but I had to send mine back because they cheaped out on the usbc port which became faulty in under a month. The xreal lenses are much nicer for my long sighted eyes.
The Rokid air looks cool but a bit too 'sci-fi' to pass for regular glasses don't you think? The display is supposed to be a bit larger than Xreal's. Did you notice a difference? I have no complaints with the Xreal build though adjusting the arms seem stiff and I feel I may break them if I keep doing that.
