Yeah it’s a notorious faeh trap to give you something you want in the middle of nowhere completely untouched. Total trap and for knows what demons spawn she is pregnant with 😯😱
It was the talisman that didn't let Fatima open the door in colony house! I just rewached that scene, and you can clearly see that the other lady talking with Fatima, can easily open the door when she leaves Fatima (eating rotten crops) !! Either Fatima is turning into a monster, or her baby is a monster, all I know is the talisman didn't let Fatima open the door. 👀
Very well could be she couldn't open the door or she smelled the rotten food. Pregnant women crave what their body needs, and it's sometimes odd things.I can't wait to find out
She did open the door, a crack, then went for the rotten vegies. As she turns away from the door you can see the door strike plate. Poor girl, it doesent look good
Something worth mentioning, Ethan mentions to Jim how he believes that Thomas is on his own quest. This could be a foreshadow perhaps that he was meant to die to do something and is now calling Jim, assuming it is him. Most likely could be a cruel trick.
I've had a theory since episode 1 that the boy in white is Thomas and there's some sort of time loop/supernatural shenanigans. But that's more like an "on the spot " theory.
pica is an eating disorder where individuals crave and consume non-food items such as dirt, chalk, paper, or hair. This condition is often associated with nutritional deficiencies, developmental disorders, pregnancy, or psychological issues.
Idk if somebody's already pointed out the fact that the creatures like to break open the victims' ribcage and take out the organs. We know the creatures like to torture their victims by skinning them, like what we saw with Tien Chen, but we never actually saw them taking out the upper body organs for whatever reason. I wouldn't want to see it either for the victims, but I find it suspicious that the writer hasn't shown them doing it. Obviously the creatures don't need/like to eat human flesh so why would they bother taking the organs rather than skinning the victims until they die from blood loss? If this is already explained, let me know. Otherwise, I wanna see an explanation this season as to why they would do that.
I haven’t had time to flesh out my thoughts, but the best I can put it is that the town is sort of a Mirror-verse of our world. Or at least the creatures are. In our world Life is the motivating force, the agent of change, natural. For us, the Undead are unnatural/supernatural. In the town, it is Death that is the motivating force, the agent of change, the natural status. The Creatures, then aren’t living, dead, or undead. They’re “Unalive”, and their goal is to make the Living- our townsfolk- conform to the nature of that world, inside and out. TL;DR- the monsters may remove the organs simply because that’s how people “ought” to look in a world where death and chaos reign.
The baby thing was a lie. It's just so she doesn't freak out that she is turning into a monster. The lost tooth is the proof. also the old lady that told her she was knocked up is very sus, there is something going on there.
Ellis had the blood transfusion which passed the monsters to Fatima. And someone else mentioned the Japanese kimono ghost is a common demon take steals children. So maybe she is pregnant. But hell idk
The Water Mother:(kimono lady) A woman lived with her mother-in-law and daughter; though she was dutiful, her mother-in-law hated her. One day, she decreed that they could not buy water from water-carriers, but her daughter-in-law would have to carry it from the well. The work was too hard for her, but she was beaten when she failed. One day, she thought of drowning herself in the well. An old woman told her not to, and gave her a stick, which, when used to strike the pail, would fill it with water. She was to tell no one of the stick's power, and to never strike the pail twice.
I think people are taking the bracelet thing wrong. Victor's mother drew all of these things before ending up in the town. Elgin knew about the place before getting there. The thing people are reading wrong is thar time travel bit with the bracelet. It's entirely possible and more likely that the only significance is that it was something the town influenced her to make. Could've influenced Victor's mother to make hers. Could've only made Tabitha make hers because Victor's mother had one like it. Something in the town calling to people outside the town opens up a whole new possibility there. Victor's mom drew the boy in white before seeing him so presumably, Tabitha is dealing with the same entity that knew her.
There are so many hints of reincarnation and also hints that the town is a collector of lost things. The bracelet that was lost was somehow in the town when Jim and Tabitha arrived and everyone is lost on their way because they get stuck behind the tree and cant find a way out. So im wondering if its a place for lost things.
Notice how everyone was on the “road” when they entered the town? The carousel, the looping road, they are stuck. Where? Stuck in the wheel of karma. Trauma generates karma, karma is guilt. The town is actually there to help them heal from the trauma. Remember the Matthews lost a child, so to heal they must save a child. So now you can see how the monsters are helping Boyd. Boyd can't save everyone, that's his trauma, when he realizes that he is free. That's why the tree appeared leading him to Martin, if he kills martin (like martin asked) he heals his trauma. Now you can basically map out every character's trauma and solution to that trauma. The phone? The call from Thomas, Jim is ready to heal, so the boy in white and his tree will appear soon, and give him the chance to heal.
I am loving this show so far but I'm getting an eerie feeling....maybe it's just because I used to watch Lost. that scene in season 3 episode 2 where they're all at the church mourning the death of Kenny's mother, it is very similar to some scenes in the end of Lost
I’m begging them to not make this “Lost, but a horror show.” I’m terrified that the boy in white is Jacob and we’re just missing the smoke monster’s human form….
Skip to 21:23 for the actual analysis and theories. Again I have no idea how channels like these have 1 mil plus subs when all they do is watch an episode of something and then talk about the episode without showing anything good. ahhhh I'm just jealous I guess. I wish I thought I that instead of working at this stupid hospital. I mean sure I get to watch people get better and be with their families again but I get no joy in that I just want to watch episodes of stuff and then half ass explain it with images while really providing nothing at all.
I think instead of going down the rabbit hole, it is safe to say those things feed of fear not hope. Why they do things in a manner that just make people be in constant fear for the lives. Now as for the hope part i think boyd is the only one with it, everyone else follow its lead so maybe why those things dont touch him cause they know that.
There's been some answers and alot of inference. We know where the symbol originated from (not why or how). We know that the people are being observed. The monsters are being commanded by something. They know things they shouldn't know (like the 'you won't break me'). We know they don't eat people, so they must be taking the organs to a place or thing. We know the boy in white is multidimensional. We know Fromville defies laws of physics. The thing is, there's no central antagonist at this point. It's as if thr Place itself is the antagonist.
The boy in white wants Henry so he can use him to break Victor. That’s why Victor stopped seeing the boy in white; the boy couldn’t feed on Victor’s pain. like when Randall wasn't scared, and the nightmare creatures walked off.

Back in s1 when Jade first enters the bar and has his tantrum, throwing darts everywhere, the bartender guy teleports when we get a close up on jades face during his monologuing, then as he ramps up to start tossing the darts the extras are just... creepy. One is staring intently at jade and the bartenders intense exchange while the woman across from him casually chats at him, and the other extras at the other table also casually ignore the commotion.
Boyd really messed up he could have just found the animals later just like they did in the beginning. Tian-Chen was such a big part of the group she was holding it down with food distribution and other items in the restaurant. Boyd should not have asked her to go out with him to get the animals. I also think that Fatima baby rotted all the food so she could eat it because she can not eat regular food anymore, which tells us something evil is growing inside Fatima and in all honesty how crazy like insane they both are for having a baby in the town I mean monsters, food scarcity, people killing each other, ghosts, other entities and creatures no medical supply ect.
They were starving to death and the meat from the animals was.the only thing keeping the town together. Plus I don't think they have any more animals coming in just like the crops are gone
Another boring af episode. I almost fell asleep 30 minutes in. Tabitha was the only one actually doing something. 80 percent of the episode was just drama and people being mad at each other.
Maybe all the crops have been eliminated not to punish the people but to ensure the baby of Fatima has plenty to eat.

I find it odd as well, especially since upon being cut open, the monsters are dry and shriveled up

Fatima’s pregnancy is weirdly giving me Twilight nostalgia. 😭
