Dorthy gets taken to a different place after an event (tree in the road/ tornado). In the story she meets characters that are looking for something they already have. One looking for courage (Kenny), one looking for a heart, one a brain, and she just wants to go back home. She can go back home anytime. @cqwinton very interesting. We know that Elgins vision was sent to him by the boy in white. I wonder if the boy in white was also sending these visions to Miranda as well
@@JeremyIceAndFire33 and how do we know his vision was sent to him by the boy in white? i just rewatched season 2. there wasn't a single thing about that. we dont even really know what he saw. something to do with the water. and just generally it being bad.
@ge2719 in the season 2 finale Elgin finally remembers his dream & specifically mentions that it was the boy in white who gave him the message & told him the nursery rhyme
why does everybody perceive it, like Boyd got other people killed or risked lives? The only one who can have beef with him is jade, because he snatched the talisman and ran outside, Victor and Tein see the situation, and they pick to come outside and try to help.. Boyd even told Tein go, She said we do it together.. Boyd never called for help. He did not really get her killed. They way it's been presented so far the monsters should be able to leave a room if the talisman is on the wall, Boyd put one in the barn they are already inside, after they kill people of course, they seem to knock them to the ground when they leave, also colony house they killed and they could leave. So it seems like if they hang or if they or on the floor, monsters can leave but maybe not enter.
It’s not so much about Tien Chen coming outside, what makes Boyd probably feel responsible is the fact that they tortured her in front of him solely to try and break him. In that sense it is kind of his responsibility for what happened. If the monsters weren’t trying to break Boyd, they probably never would’ve let the animals out in the first place
Boyd isn't responsible for what happened to Tian Chen, as when he was trying to herd the cow in he told her to go back to the house and she insisted on helping him.
Looking at the scene as a whole, Tien Chen coming outside in isolation isn't Boyds fault i agree, but all of the other surrounding circumstances are because of Boyd. They killed Tien Chen solely for the purpose of breaking Boyd. This whole ambush was all about hurting someone Boyd cares about, the monsters only let the animals out of their pen in the first place to set this trap for Boyd. Every time I see the crows flying around, I think of the movie, The Endless. The birds were flying in a way that conveyed a border to a strange place. It would be a great movie to show during your horror movie run, the movie is From adjacent. I feel the movie about a dummy, Magic, would be adjacent to From too!
Great breakdown and theories, the man in yellow stuff is sick. Trapping the creatures with booby traps would be pretty easy if they didn’t seemingly see and hear everything. Hopefully the talisman idea can work if they lure them into an enclosed space and put it on the outside but I have a feeling it will be harder than that.
I think the talisman can't keep the monsters locked up... remember the time Kenny's mom and boyd locked the ban with the talisman to protect them from the monsters... but unfortunately they were already inside, so I think the talisman can't keep the monsters locked inside coz how did the monsters leave the next morning jade arrived??....
@SandraMwambenu the monsters were able to leave because the talismans don't work if the monsters are already inside, but if someone managed to get a monster inside the barn or another enclosed space & hang a talismans up on the outside wall where they can't reach it, that could potentially be worth trying.
I wonder if there is a direct link with drugs and these visions. Henry said he and their mom were hippies and did drugs one last time, then she starts having these visions. We know Jade likes to do different recreational drugs, even before getting to the town. Maybe it creates an opening certain entities can take advantage of.
YES! We were discussing this exact topic in the Discord, it seems like an altered state of consciousness is definitely playing some kind of role in inducing some of these visions ppl are having. Miranda, Tabitha, Jade, Ethan, Elgin, Khatri, all were in some kind of altered state of consciousness upon entering FROMVILLE, either high or asleep, & they've all seen or heard weird things since. We're starting to notice a pattern

The man in yellow could be Henry. He wears very yellowish clothing, the couch is the same pattern and shades, and even his home is a lot of heavy yellows. This could be a trick to lead him back to Victor. Hide in plain sight. These people are all pawns in a larger deal. It all seems controlled. Victor never mentions his father if I recall, just his Mom and sister.
First time commenting, is the bear trap put by Boyd and meant to catch one of the monsters, yet it caught Kristi ?😅 Or is it set up by " Eloise" who I think is still in Fromville ? Just my thoughts
Did anyone else notice Fatima before she eats the rotten food she tried going inside the house but the door doesn’t open and that other girl walks right in afterwards. Bcuz of the talisman Fatima is turning into a monster
She didn’t even attempt to turn the handle, I think ppl are over analyzing that scene a bit. Looked more like she was about to go inside then she stopped cause she smelled the rotten food and was drawn to it. I could be wrong but I doubt we’ll ever see any reference to that door scene again.
Not necessarily, the talisman didn't work in the barn because the monsters were already on the inside with it, they easily could've just knocked it off the wall like they usually do when they get inside a space. But if they were to get a monster in the barn or another enclosed space & hang the talisman up on the outside wall where the monsters wouldn't be able to just knock it down, that might potentially work
I think the boy in white is the good entity. The man in yellow is the evil entity. Who’s pulling all the strings. I think we are going to finally see him. At the end of this season.
Two Boys In White Theory, one could be impersonating the good one. The one who talks to Tabitha and the one who telepathically cominicates with Sara seem different.
Trapping the monster (pitfall) makes sense for me. But not that they know everything that happens in the day time they may decide to reverse engineer it and trick Their ass again 😂
Notice how everyone was on the “road” when they entered the town? The carousel, the looping road, they are stuck. Where? Stuck in the wheel of karma. Trauma generates karma, karma is guilt. The town is actually there to help them heal from the trauma. Remember the Matthews lost a child, so to heal they must save a child. So now you can see how the monsters are helping Boyd. Boyd can't save everyone, that's his trauma, when he realizes that he is free. That's why the tree appeared leading him to Martin, if he kills martin (like martin asked) he heals his trauma. Now you can basically map out every character's trauma and solution to that trauma. The phone? The call from Thomas, Jim is ready to heal, so the boy in white and his tree will appear soon, and give him the chance to heal.
waynefishing9324 stated that "The man in yellow is the Ventriloquist." That got me thinking that the man is yellow is the voice that Jim heard on the radio when Tabitha was digging in the basement, and now the phone call... from Thomas. A ventriloquist is defined as a performer who can make their voice seem to come from a different place. Also, this makes me believe the man in yellow also controls other forms of radio waves in "Fromville," possibly the Jukebox in the diner as well.
love your theory about the man in yellow it sounds like you’re bang on. i think it is definitely Jade or Tabitha who is the chosen one. looking forward to your video on the paintings. 😊
Yellow def plays a huge role in this series. The diner lights look like faerie lites to me. EtHan and his yellow jacket. I think anyone who wears yellow could be an NPC.. .Also the curtains are always tied up a way they resemble the symbol.
I still believe we saw Thomas on the porch in season 1. But, we know the being can show up as different characters like the smoke monster in Lost. The entity in From is likely representing the same thing as the smoke monster in Lost, the shadow self.
Jade may be the chosen because one of my theories is that Chris was the good guy and trying to stop Miranda from foolishly freeing the ghoulish kids. I think Tabby will free the kids in the final season and they will be the big endgame threat. However it is necessary so they can be defeated forever. Yes like LOST.
Your theory about Jade being chosen seems sound. He arrived at the same time as Tabitha, so what if two chosen ones came into town at once?. Victor said bad things happen when two vehicles arrive together. But only human error has caused the bad situations. Did Tabitha leaving do something to the town? Is it possible she will return in that ambulance after the crash she has with Henry?
Apparently wherever the small huts are, they’re immune to whatever is happening in the town. There’s no sign of snow when they find the growing crops, meanwhile the town is getting blanketed
I appreciate your calm voice, so many from videos are excitable, but I feel bad. Hearing you live vs now, you sound tired❤️🩹 it would make sense if you were. There was so much to review to structure this video. Thank you so much for the effort. Please remember to pace yourself. We have the rest of the season ahead of us. Organize efforts, take breaks & time to recharge. You are an appreciated resource!💛
Yea I dunno why but the King in Yellow was the first thing that popped into my mind when seeing that man in yellow painting. And then when you think about all the insane similarities between the king in yellow & Carcosa & FROM.
@@JeremyIceAndFire33 absolutely! I was just saying u see similarities in the story lines more the deeper we get into season 3. That’s all. From’s approach just seems to have more a dark magic approach to the story than true detective did.
@lorenzoserna3961 I totally agree, there's tons of similarities. My reply about The King in yellow being older than True Detective was directed at the other person in the comments, not yours. Yours I 100% agree with.
Thomas is dead yes. But that’s what makes the scene so weird, was it really their dead son reaching out from beyond or just Fromville playing a trick on jim
Yes…it could be the monsters playing with Jim or it could be supernatural in some way. Time travel also? A Thomas from an alternative universe where he didn’t die?
He can’t trap them with the Tailsman… if they could be trapped it would have been in the barn when he placed the talisman on the barn door they still managed to leave by daylight…. And when the monster scratched him he should have said “ blood of my blood!” I think that would’ve killed it….
Is Fatima actually pregnant? It might be that she's actually being turned into a monster. Either way this show has captivated me. I hope we get at least 7 seasons with an amazing ending!!
I guess I'm just trying to take what the show is actually giving us, if we see any sign of him being some kind of abusive parent id be the first to call it out, I know personally the kind of effect that can have on a family. But so far we haven't seen any sign of him being anything other than a grieving parent who lost his family.
As far as the phone call goes I think it is manipulation of the place where they are. I think just like it wasn’t Thomas it also wasn’t Tabitha’s Mother on the phone when she called her. It’s all some type of recordings used by the people controlling the circumstances.
I don’t mean an actual recording of the real person/voice. I feel that it is whomever is trying to break or control the person they are speaking to. Voices can probably be duplicated. Just a crazy guess.
I’m to the point where I would be making as many explosive devices and gathering as much burning fuel as possible and go out in the biggest wtf just happened explosion the monsters had never known or expected in fromville history. Id crater that whole damn hillside/forest. Oh and make it rain once all the water from those lakes come back down.
I think too much is being read into that painting of the guy in yellow. I think its just a shout out to admitted FROM fan Stephen King...a nod to his short story Low Men in Yellow Coats. Indeed the entire show seems to be loosely inspired by his Dark Tower book series. You know...that whole idea of an eternal cycle of death and suffering that is doomed to repeat until someone discovers the key to finally end it.
Well when we look at the rest of the paintings in that basement, just about all of them are things we've seen in the show. It's more likely the painting of the man in yellow is a character we just haven't seen on the show yet. Remember, Miranda was painting everything that she was seeing in Fromville. It's unlikely that this is the only one that isn't in the show.

How did the monsters get out of the barn after the demise of Kenny’s mom Boyd put the talisman up when they ran in.
The talismans are for keeping them out.
GIVE KENNY A FUKIN AWARD 🥇
@Jay-xg8lz for real!! Ricky He put on a master class in acting in this ep. Harold Perrineau too.
Pediatric nurse wouldn't be around pregnancy, a neonatal nurse would
R.I.P empty Creelman's Cola bottle on Boyd's desk. Looks like the janitor finally came.
when thta girl was in the tree with the arrow nobody cared to think this is what they do until they do it to boyd
Apparently wherever the small huts are, they’re immune to whatever is happening in the town. There’s no sign of snow when they find the growing crops, meanwhile the town is getting blanketed
thats just how snow works. snow can fall in one place, and not in others.
You are an appreciated resource!💛
boy in white pic is surrounded by trees, while the yellow guy surrounded by red maybe he s the big bad red from the tunnels drawings
The man in grow in boyd, he’s wearing yellow the whole show almost everyday
I think they will find out about Fatima and notice she is changing
I’m glad you are pointing this out! This is the vibes I have been getting. I recently watched true detective season 1
Yea I dunno why but the King in Yellow was the first thing that popped into my mind when seeing that man in yellow painting. And then when you think about all the insane similarities between the king in yellow & Carcosa & FROM.
@@JeremyIceAndFire33But True Detective never reveals it’s supernatural hand. 🤷♀️
@wildmarjoramdieselpunk6396 the story of the King in Yellow is far older than True Detective & is very much a supernatural story.
It can’t be Thomas. I thought they said he was a smaller child. Didn’t he fall off the bed or something
He felt when he was a baby, Jim was changing his diaper, the phone rang , Jim got distracted amd Thomas fell and died.
Thomas is dead yes. But that’s what makes the scene so weird, was it really their dead son reaching out from beyond or just Fromville playing a trick on jim
@@smilingknight8603 yea I believe that
@@josuegentilcunhaneto780 yesss Okayy I thought so thanks for that
Yes…it could be the monsters playing with Jim or it could be supernatural in some way. Time travel also? A Thomas from an alternative universe where he didn’t die?
I think Elgin's the chosen one!
He can’t trap them with the Tailsman… if they could be trapped it would have been in the barn when he placed the talisman on the barn door they still managed to leave by daylight…. And when the monster scratched him he should have said “ blood of my blood!” I think that would’ve killed it….
I assume Boyd will never tell us what they did with Mrs Liu’s innards. Did they eat them? Take them? Would be good info to figure them out.
Jade was on psychedelics when he entered from just like miranda
Let's see if they mention the picture
Is Fatima actually pregnant? It might be that she's actually being turned into a monster. Either way this show has captivated me. I hope we get at least 7 seasons with an amazing ending!!
Ah yes "Hastur aka The King in Yellow".....I was wondering if anyone else would catch the Lovecraft reference, leave it to the ASOIAF fans 😂
Why is no one in the town surprised or commenting on the weather?
Tons of changes are happening. Victor commented last season that the leaves were changing
I think you are getting ahead of yourself with Victor's father. Notice he never asked about his wife or daughter.
I guess I'm just trying to take what the show is actually giving us, if we see any sign of him being some kind of abusive parent id be the first to call it out, I know personally the kind of effect that can have on a family. But so far we haven't seen any sign of him being anything other than a grieving parent who lost his family.
kenny basically is The Glenn of From
That's a quote from Hebrews 10:31.
Yellow Suit Guy looks like Randle.
How many dam talismans do they have left?!
They have 12 talismans according to the writers.
@@JeremyIceAndFire33 is that including the barn one?
I gotta go …. Man somebody say or explain something real quick!
All characters are not sharing what they saw hence making it difficult to grasp 😮
As far as the phone call goes I think it is manipulation of the place where they are. I think just like it wasn’t Thomas it also wasn’t Tabitha’s Mother on the phone when she called her. It’s all some type of recordings used by the people controlling the circumstances.
it cant be a recording of Thomas because he died as a infant
I don’t mean an actual recording of the real person/voice. I feel that it is whomever is trying to break or control the person they are speaking to. Voices can probably be duplicated. Just a crazy guess.
I’m to the point where I would be making as many explosive devices and gathering as much burning fuel as possible and go out in the biggest wtf just happened explosion the monsters had never known or expected in fromville history. Id crater that whole damn hillside/forest. Oh and make it rain once all the water from those lakes come back down.
13:00 reminds me of lost
Boyd usually wears yellow
Am i the only one who thinks the man in yellow is randal ?
That's clearly Obama in his tan suit
I can't stand Donna she is always negative
Mate she's seen some shit though and she was the one to collect all the body pieces of colony house after the massacre...
It's going to be judgement day in that cave next episode... 🔥🔥🔥🛢️
