It would. I'm a dreamgrid enthusiast and all through this video I was thinking I'm about to log in and build Fromville. I will either give away the oar files when I'm done or set up a hypergrid option so Fromily can come hang out. It'd also make a hella fun roleplay sim as well. Course it'll probably be canceled or over with by the time I got it done but it'd still be a fun game and roleplay sim regardless.
I don't actually know if it would. It would be a cool scene for sure. You go out and forage during the day, and hunker down in your home at night. But you just simply don't open the doors in the evening so really no risk or reason to tempt. During the day you really have no threats in the town.. idk? I feel they would have to create a gameplay loop that would differ too much from the shows setting so they could add danger and tasks, etc. I don't think it would actually work at all.
@@Rev_Antoine I'm talking about the tree that's blocking the road all they have to do is remove that tree I would at least try to do that and see what happens if you take that road

Ellis, Fatima and Victor all live in the attic, which has been partitioned into rooms. The Star Magic Motel sign might have been broken when that truck crashed into it and flipped into the pool. The Forest has the Talisman cave/shrine, two Bottle Trees, several Farway Trees, the ruins of the dungeon where Martin was held, a large clearing where the trailer to the truck full of peaches that Victor made into his den is and of course the cabins by the lake they just discovered with the scarecrows or totems. Near the cabins are at least two large red rocks which match both the cave painting from the monsters tunnels as well as the white rocks between Colony House where the Choosing Ceremony took place. We don't know what they're doing out in the deep forest, but the monsters were seen walking through the forest with purpose on the night Boyd met Martin. The monsters didn't seem to be looking for anyone though. The Lighthouse is NOT in Fromville- or at least not within twenty miles of town or people would see the light- particularly from Colony House which is on the hill and three stories tall. No one sees the mountains behind the Lighthouse either.. those should definitely be visible from town! We know there are twelve unique Talismans and I think there's twelve building in Fromville (with the tour bus taking the place of the Matthews house). I think the Talismans do more than protect a place. Maybe they program the Farway Trees to go to a particular place and time. Boyd had the Talisman when he went through the Farway Tree and ended up with Martin in the past. Sarah didn't have one and popped up in the church basement. Or so she says, anyway.
There are several maps. In Colony House on the wall behind Julie's bed is a tapestry presumably painted by Ellis and gifted to Julie when she moved there. It's in Victor's style, though, and shows the town with 2 roads that are tire tread patterns like when you brake and skid to try not to have a wreck. The center of the town shows Ellis and Fatima nude which is what everyone focuses on instead of the fact there's a map, which means either Victor drew the map and has knowledge of the town enough to make a map, and gifted the tapestry to Ellis and Fatima who in turn gave it to Julie and passed it off as Ellis' work, or Ellis copied Victor's style and made it and doesn't seem to realize it's a map. In the show's opening credits the tapestry is shown only as a segment up close, featuring the two tire tread roads and Ellis & Fatima. Victor's drawings all over his walls are a map. Victor also has at least 2 larger drawings that are a map. In the truck, Victor hung up a multi page map in brown paper. Takeaway......Victor knows where it all is enough to make a map...and 3 seasons in zero of the inhabitants figured that out or made an official map they could use.

The fact that there is "The Box" well before there is ever need for it is concerning. Especially considering the initial main threat is monsters killing residents, rather residents hurting each other. Of all things about the town, the messed up car sticking out of the dry pool with the fence and no hotel but still a sign is really the perfect symbol of Fromville.
Not really the box may have been created by Boyd for instances like what happened with his wife. They obviously had other instances where people did stupid stuff that got others killed. People trying to steal food or livestock. Look how when the food got scarce they were ready to eat the animals they had left w/o a plan. That stuff has to be governed . Some people need to know they will be penalized for jeopardizing the safety of the community.
So, as far as "complete map," anyone else circled back to the Cromenockle storyline? IMO, Victor is the "Lonely Dragon," as he was the sole survivor of the previous town massacre and lived alone ["lonely"] in the town for "a very long time" (years, decades?). IMO, while others have said the "Lonely Dragon's Cave" is the back room of the diner, or Victor's Bedroom, I think it's **actually** Victor's box truck "lair" / "escape room" which he has stated he's come to "whenever things got too loud" [I suspect autism or sensory issues, given his self-soothing behaviors in certain scenes; but, that's neither here nor there]... Victor keeps many drawings and important items there... IMO, the "map" that the Cromenockle gets from the "Lonely Dragon's Cave" is a **literal** map ... Miranda's map of the town and surrounding area ... which is hanging somehow un-noticed on the back wall of the box truck (seen when Elgin takes refuge there after running into the forest on his first night after arriving, and I think when Victor and his dad go there after retrieving the ventriloquist's dummy Jasper from the caves). Wouldn't surprise me if Victor gives the map to Jade or someone at some point in order to help decode stuff or "find their way home," etc. Possibly Tabitha, since she's the current "chosen one" (after Miranda and Abby?)...

What I don’t understand is that the cave didn’t have a door yet the talismans worked… was it because all of them were together and formed a strong enough barrier or is like the creatures said and they don’t truly understand how they work. Being separated and together may have different effects
I'm concerned that Boyd's hereditary Parkinson's comes into full effect whenever he's judging someone (exhibit A: Sarah in season 1, exhibit B the newly arrived Cop who accidentally shot Nicky). My reason for thinking this? Oh I don't know, mostly the way he acts like what his wife did wasn't a far worse ... Accident.
