That was Red's game to lose. He shouldn't of gotten into a road war when he had already wasted 5 roads on the other side of the board. On this board he isn't going to win with that strategy. He had the wheat port so he should of stopped at the 4 and built more wheat. On this game I find that the person that gets the 5/5 spot will win about 80% of the time unless they mess up or have a rare game that the 5 doesn't roll.
Hi guys , i dont fully understand , what i can unlock if i buy 400 gold and buy catan base game . I can get multiplayer , singeplayer , game for 4 players and i will have each map different ? Or is there something more or less. Thanks for answering
After watching the video again, I understand your point but I believe I built cities over dev cards due to time. I don't think there were enough rounds to catch up on knights and secure a contested largest army. It is also one of my biggest weaknesses currently of when to build cities versus when to get dev cards. Trying to improve on this matter and I lean more towards cities, but am hoping to get better at it! Thanks for the advice!
I generaly agree with you Ink but I think 31:37 is a big mistake to go 4 a city instead of 2 dev cards there is no way for you to get another V-point on board so your only win condition are dev cards anyway if you draw 2 knights you have a chance to win in 2 turns and if you draw a victory point you can just go for the last city... if you build the city here you just lose tempo

You kept upgrading to useless cities producing only wood, instead of heading for army and victory points.
