Been shooting air rifles since i was a kid. Got my son into it too. We have a bit of a collection going now and on the list for the local club. Hopefully should get in, in January. If i could get a FAC I don’t think i would keep any real guns at home tbh. It makes you a bit of a target. Only just found your channel so looking forward to going through your content. 👍
Really interesting video mate thanks for posting. That shottie looks like a right bitta kit. I've only ever seen standsrd shottiies so single, double barrelled and over and under etc. When i first saw your shotgun it looked kinda like a barrett but I dont know anything about guns so to a casulas eye yeah the end gave off 50 cal vibes. Thanks for posting and take care and keep safe m8 from the uk
that green one ☝️ so sick…. Only just found your channel. Hope we get to see it in action. Tired of watching our 🇺🇸 cousins with all their cool guns and all we have is air rifles. Which mine cost the same as a decent AR15 in the 🇺🇸🤷♂️ we’ve been blagged 😂
@ yeah mate thats sick. Will be checking out the videos. Sent them to my 11 yo son. He loves shooting. Got him a PCP for his birthday and he sites there for hours sniping away at little wooden beads. Got him a Glock 17 as one of his xmas presents for variety(co2). Hopefully when the admission open in the NY we can join the local club and progress further. He saw your guns and he was like what we can have guns like that in the UK?! Yeah son, maybe… we’ll see… 😉 Such a cool sport, a lot of ppl don’t get it. Media programming i guess.
I left the UK to and live in US because the UK government came and took my guns away. now I Have any gun I want and carry My Sig 365 or Glock 17 for self-defense. Also have AR15s and a Benelli combat shot gun for home defense. I'm sorry that you don't have the freedom to own what you want.
Genuinely been considering this as well with moving from uk to Tx. As a engineer making the move I hope wouldn’t be too hard. Not sure how their immigration skill point system works
It all depends on your own circumstances and requirements for firearms, mental health, criminal record, club membership etc, just be honest and dont dare attempt to lie, you will get caught out and NEVER get licensed.
Hi What is the law like in your country now Regarding weapons without a permit until what year ?? Can you carry such a weapon with you and defend yourself with it ?? Can athletes carry handguns e.g. Colt 1911 or not ?? Is it hard to get a permit for personal protection in the UK in 2024 ?? Describe step by step how it looks... !! Regards Artur Poland Warsaw
In the UK we have to undergo very strict criminal and mental health checks before we can even apply for a licence and then to own firearms you have to prove good reason for ownership. We are not allowed to carry firearms for self defence, we are only allowed to use them for sporting purposes on permitted land and at gun clubs.
Weapons without a permit: until 1939, as long as it is chambered for a calibre deemed 'obsolete'; Can you carry such a weapon: No, it isn't legal to carry any firearm unless you have a good reason such as transporting it. You can carry an unloaded shotgun without a reason, though. You can't generally carry a weapon for self defence. Can you defend yourself with such a weapon: generally it is accepted that the legislation means we cannot fire these antique guns without putting them on a licence, so even though you could defend yourself with it legally if the situation was so grave that it would be considered reasonable force, you would probably be subject to other charges relating to carrying the firearm, and owning ammunition for it, and owning it with the purpose of firing it. It is not like poland: antique guns need to actually be originals and cannot be reproductions, carrying black powder weapons is legally not different to carrying normal ones. Can athletes carry handguns: As said before, nobody without special authority can carry a firearm for defence. Athletes can't really own handguns in GB, either. People can own muzzle-loading handguns under licence, and can own normal handguns of historic interest as part of a collection, but not for sport. It is very hard to get a permit for personal protection, because it needs direct authority. Essentially impossible for the average person. The situation is different in NI to GB.
@@островитянин-г4т Hi You can carry a weapon for personal protection With you?? What criteria must be met to carry such a weapon in Great Britain?? Every how many years do you have to have a head test?? With us, you have to prove a threat to life and health. It is very difficult to get such a permit, but it is possible to obtain it. The police issue it for 3 pieces max. You have to have the tests every 5 years !! Best regards Artur Warsaw Poland
As long as you do not have severe mental health issues and you have good reason to own the air rifle then you should not have any issue getting an FAC. Having said that, then you may as well shoot .22LR. The laws are there for a reason, which is why the UK is home to the most trustworthy firearms owners in the world.
Even non shooters in the U.K cant believe we are allowed firearms as shown in my collection, they are quite shocked 😅
@@JBinthesticks Im not trying to shock anyone, its just an informative video for other nations and new would-be shooters.

Im so glad i live in the US, and i can own real guns and not
in generally: piatols are banned, blank “guns” are banned. guns that could shoot only rubber bullets = banned too.

Why should I as an ADULT who has no criminal record have to put in for a firearm ticket for an air rifle over 12ftlbs , Weak laws
