I've got a question. This new drone you speak of that can deploy from an officers house... According to the FAA all drones must be within like of sight with a spotter. How do you plan for that to happen if the officer is sitting in his living room flying to the scene which could be a couple miles away? And not only that the article that was written about this deployable from home drone says that it could be used for 200 300 miles away. Again against FAA regulation. As well as the battery is only good for 41 mins and it doesn't have video or radio signal past about 4.35 miles. Which again is still against FAA regulation. So just how effective can this drone be over the current drone when according to the FAA the pilot must be within line of sight with a spotter?
