Great demo - have just bought one for my GSX-S 1000. The paddock stand I used for my Street Triple required a huge amount of effort because of the difference in bobbin heights and I came close to dropping the new bike! The ABBA does exactly what you say - easy and totally stable.

So sorry to see your damage, however your previous videos of the stand and front lifter were excellent and I have just bought the set. Thanks and hope your repairs are successful and not tooooo expensive.

Completely agree about the strap being a fiddly feeding in through the back. Great that if you take off the rear wheel you can get the front really high though. Made removing my exhaust a breeze!

Great vid. Missed your original vid in December so I've just back & watched & liked that.
My GPZ500 has a centre stand but my next bike won't so it's nice to see a product like this is available as like you have highlighted, I have heard so many horror stories about paddock stands.
Nice to see both wheels can be off the ground, I currently have to pile x2 20kg + x1 15kg gym plate weights on the back of my bike when on centre stand if I want to do any work with front wheel in air which isn't the safest really!?!

I have this stand set too it's pretty good, I've been seeing those wheeled single pin stands recently which jack the bike up in one go there seems to be a few brands. The one I saw was 1jac at MCN show, it's pricey and doesn't support as many bikes but it's seriously fast to use.

This stand is it ideal for removal of both wheels so I can get my wheels powder coated?
Much better than a front paddock stand as you can't maneuver the from wheel with one of those.

I've got a cbr650r looking at buying one of these stands with the front lift for cleaning and winter storage in the garage with both wheels off the floor would you recommend it for a couple of the months with both wheels off the floor? Cheers

I do like the abbastand. Had mine for years, but unfortunately the front lift arm isn't compatible with the wider version of the stand they make (or used to make) for my bike. Pity, because it is a cracking idea.

Have to say also that this complete kit will cost around £160 with postage included..
the company which just happens to be just a few miles away in Essex also has a comprehensive Range of toolery and all sorts . .
worth every penny.. .

Tried my new stand out today and got a say its a major pain to get the front wheel lifted if your backyard has a slope on it, will give it another go tomorrow with the bike facing the other way, as will be pissed as hell if it won't do what itsays, at £150 as there not cheap
