I think this whole park is underrated. It has an awesome atmosphere especially in the mid section and near River King Mine Train. Love the video as always
"Six flags over Georgia has Daholonnngagggga" LOL Im dying over here. LOL Im 49 and I still cant pronounce that name. Now we just call it the DeAngelo mine train.
ngl i’m 6’1” and ninja still hurts me with its quirkiness, great list tho - i love the positivity and also ranking by fun instead of superiority. great video, very enjoyable
We live in st louis and have season passes this year (just went yesterday with my daughter after work). My personal favorite is Batman. It was my first upside-down coaster experience back in '97 and it still holds up for me. Great video!
My ranking of SFStL’s coasters are very similar to yours except that Screamin Eagle is my favorite coaster there. I’m a giant classic woodie fan, and that coaster is so pretty and carries really good speed, and night rides on it are amazing since it’s tucked away in the back.
Here's my rankings: 10: Boss (Among the worst coasters ever for me. In the back, it was atrocious and beat the ever living crap out of me. Gave me back pain and bruised my leg badly. It wasn't as terrible in the front, but I still hated it. Please RMC it) 9: Boomerang (Boomerands have always been bad rides IMO I've never liked them. But since this one has arrow trains I REALLY Don't like it.) 8: Ninja (Not quite as bad as its reputation makes it out to be. But it still has really bad transitions and that sidewinder is pretty brutal) 7: Screamin Eagle (I sadly got a wheel seat on this ride. So while the airtime was good. The laterals were very painful and the potholes I got were BRUTAL. Please Re-Track this) 6: River King Mine Train (Fun Mine Train with a cool terrain and funny final drop) 5: Rookie Racer (GREAT theming for a Six Flags coaster. It's such a cute ride.) 4: Pandemonium (I got an unbalanced ride on this so I ended up loving it. It spins so freaking much. Very wonky but awesome coaster.) 3: American Thunder (I'm not sure why Airtime Thrills thinks this is a top tier GCI but it isn't. It's no where near Gold Striker, Thunderhead or even Apocalypse. Still a very fun woodie though and is easily the best one here) 2: Batman (I loved the one at SFMM and I love this one too. It's so intense. A front row ride on this was on par with Flight Deck at CGA. Which, is a good thing. Because that's a top tier B&M Invert) 1: Mr. Freeze (AWESOME COASTER. That launch is absolutely incredible and the hangtime and laterals you get are bonkers. It's easily my 2nd favorite Steel Coaster in Missouri, only behind Time Traveler)
This is a great list and I agree with most things you say. The only thing I have a lot higher in my rankings is Screamin’ Eagle. It’s my number one in the park but it does have its flaws and admittedly I have a soft spot for PTC’s.
Screaming Eagle hurt like hell. The Boss did not. I don't understand why I get a different experience from everyone else. Also, I am a sucker for Mine Train rides. That final dive into the tunnel is awesome. True mine train stuff.
Great video! Still been meaning to go here, always wanted to ride Mr. Freeze. Also, opportunity missed for not using the Freezeezy Peak world music when talking about Mr. Freeze 🤣
I have always thought that both Boomerang and Pandemonium (what used to be called Tony Hawk's Big Spin when it debuted) were redundant for Six Flags St. Louis' and for the state of Missouri since Worlds of Fun, located in Kansas City, Missouri, is four hours west by car. Boomerang at Worlds of Fun was added 13 years prior in 2000. (Who knows where Cedar Fair got the Boomerang for Worlds of Fun? I doubt it was brand new.) Worlds of Fun then debuted Spinning Dragons in the 2004 with Tony Hawk's Big Spin debuting three years later in 2007. Spinning Dragons and Pandemonium are mirror images of each other with slight differences. When I go to Six Flags St. Louis I do feel kind of jipped on roller coaster experiences because of what is at Worlds of Fun.
Seems like you caught Boss at a bad time. At its best potential it’s the best ride in the park. Fright Fest rain night rides in the front row are really difficult to beat
All of these rides are amazing especially at night, last year my mom and I went in October when they have all there Halloween stuff out and now we are going to try and go every year in October and it’s the closest park to us,about three hours away, the only park Tennessee has is DollyWood and that’s 6 hours from where I live in Memphis.
My friend,....can I call you my friend? I'm doing it! You were a friend during the pandemic :) 8 months ago I didn't know a helix from a twister or even what the hell a 'double out back' was; nor did I honestly care. But I somehow stumbled across your channel ( really! I have no idea, I'm more of a true crime girl) and I'm sure glad I did! I stayed because you're HILAROUS and then I started to learn things and now I guess I'm a coaster enthusiast too :D Canada's Wonderland just opened here post-pandemic; I can't wait to impress (more likely annoy) my bestie with my knowledge. Keep up the good work!
one note i feel like i have to make about boss: literally just kill the trains. sure the track isn’t incredibly well maintained, but the trains… eek. they feel like they’re bouncing on the track constantly. idc how true this is, but with the gerst trains they feel like they’re super light and don’t pressure the track into smoothness submission, while ptc trains do. idk just food for thought ig
do you have tips on ranking coasters? i’m not making a video or anything but i have a little over 50 credits and it would give me satisfaction to have a certain answer when someone (usually myself) asks me what my favorite coaster is.
Complicated question, but don’t be one of those enthusiasts that cares too much about fitting in. My number two is Orion right now and that’s a combination of airtime, speed, theme, and the awesome rain rides I got on it. I was also having a really good day that day and even that plays a factor. So yeah, be chill about it, and tbh some people don’t have a favorite.
Great music choices and great list! Personally Boss is my number one due to some night rides I got on it, but I totally understand why you put it so low.
Not hard to see why Six Flags doesn't think highly of their audience at this park. They are Cardinals fans. Six Flags will give them a mirrored clone of Boomerang next and they won't know the difference.
Such an underrated park. Personally I like ninja because I'm too tall to get much headbanging. With a great stand out roller coaster six flags St. Louis would be much more popular.
I really wish their next coaster addition is good enough to make it a destination park. As much as I love freeze, most people wouldn’t travel specifically for that ride.
I agree with personal fun levels 👍 I don't go around riding kiddie coasters just for the "creds"- seems insane. I want to have fun & ride the craziest stuff possible, yeah I'm down for a good family coaster from time to time but you won't see me on The Great Pumpkin Coaster anytime soon (unless it's with my son, a 4 year old CHILD 🤣👍)
I do prefer the station theming on Batman the ride in sfsl over Sfgam. But I’ll always prefer the ride at Sfgam because of the trees. Also I heard rumors the park is going to add a bat mobile in the queue line at sfsl (they’ve already been revamping the queue line so it makes sense). Final note; I’m surprised I didn’t hear you mention the Mr. Freeze animatronic
Yeah, one side was railblazer with the stand up train, the other side was still river king mine train. Extremely bizarre. A stand up train on an Arrow mine train sounds terrible.
@@ZeroCreditsRemaining They look good is an understatement. God every time I pass them on the ground at Great America with their inch thick layer of dust I experience physical pain

Fun fact it is possible for the the boss to run PTC trains. It actually did so on opening day I saw in old photos on a blog
Nice touch with the thps music on in the background pandemonium.

I've been to this park 5 or 6 times and have never once gotten a ride on Mr. Freeze because it was shut down every time I went. 😭
You described my literal nightmare. I’m so sorry. 😭
that’s insanely unlucky, it’s actually pretty reliable
@@ConceptualCoasters based on my experiences I thought it was par for the course. Turns out I'm just insanely unlucky, aaaaack!
I know it isn't a roller coaster, but I am excited about Cat Woman Whip that's right in front of Screamn' Eagle.

I wasn’t expecting the Ska interlude. Top top tier.
I think these rankings are accurate. I've never been but I think these make sense.
Also I just wanted to say this is a great and funny channel.
Superman by goldfinger is an awesome song lol
I’m more of a No Cigar by Millencolin person, but Superman is so damn good ah.
Possibly the best part of the video.
BOSS in the front seat: 2/10
BOSS in the back seat: 9/10

This is sadly true, and this is coming from a Cardinals fan. We suck ngl
what coaster would add here?
Mr Freeze really does look pretty dope.
I live in st Louis and i really love the batman and mr freeze could never get old 😂
same! lol my two favorite i’m in saint louis too and going october 17th i cant wait

pandemonium at six flags st louis was my first coaster

Ngl, the Batman at SFGam is running super fast this year. I actually greyed out on it
I’m pretty sure our mr freeze is the original because it is built on an island unlike texas’ which is on flat land so Texas has the mirrored cloned
That’s a good observation and makes sense to me
