- By far the best pub fish and chips i have ever tasted. The Sun Inn Tenerife, if it's home made food you are looking for this is some of the best I have tasted. In Torviscas, adeje The Sun Inn is off the charts. From fish & chips, home baked pies on the premises and amazing chilli.
Do you have chip butties when you have chips? When the chips are homemade it is rude not to have a chip butty.

Seeing a Londoner making a chip butty always brings a smile on my face. Up North we say that "anything that tastes good tastes even better between 2 slices of bread".
Love chips. Love bread. Just cannot put them together. No guessing which part of the country I'm from.

Hi Darren , I bet it was a bit humid there. Sunshine 1 side impending storm the other ! Always tricky to choose what to eat in that weather , I usually end up with salad & fish. Light & tasty. Lol M

DJ first went into the Sun Inn about 30 years ago the foood has always been good. We was last the about 6 months ago and the place is jammed packed

We go to sunset Bay twice a year for 3 weeks each time and go in the sun Inn every night the ribs are to die for. The spirit measures are massive and all brandid makes at a decent price but you can purchase local if you wish.

I'm in Tenerife in early May & even though I'm at an all inclusive hotel, the Sun Inn food does look superb. Agree with another poster that the chilli looked a bit pale & needed some more seasoning, but if that was a small portion, the full monty must be massive! That fish & chips looked fab & I remember the pies looked superb last time! You know your nosh fella!🙂

For one horrible minute, I thought you were going to make that Chip Butty with both slices of bread. Inexcusable!! One slice folded over is the PROPER way. And that Fish looked Off The Charts before you even tucked into it. I'm not a great Chilli lover so I can't comment on that. Great Vid as usual, Darren. Keep 'em coming.

Fish and chips looked good. Chill Con Carne perhaps needed some more tomato in it, a touch anemic I thought. However all looked tasty at a decent price. I would have to give it a 9, you sure enjoyed it Darren.

A well well run family Geordie bar. The staff including owners all work very hard from morning to night. Their seems to be a great friendly atmosphere which only feeds down to the customers. Hats off to them from a Mackem

Fish looked amazing. Great to see home made chips, although they looked a bit soft for my taste👍 Love the fact they have really wide pavements so pedestrians and mobility scooters can live together. Enjoy the break DJ...although by 5he time we see this you are probably back in Blighty. Bloomin heck...smaller portion of rice and chili...that would have finished me😳😎

Wonderful Darren ate there quite a few times, stayed opposite the Sun Inn rented a villa think it was called Torviscas. Loved the pies and pork chops were amazing and so reasonable. Love to go back one day, your vlog has brought back great memories especially the walk to the Sun Inn as we did that many times😊
