I can’t get mine to look so smooth. For some reason there’s an obvious spot where my lines meet & it’s emphasized when I add the shadows. Ugh. Great tutorial tho - Thank you!

Thanks for your message ! You have to change the settings of the monoline brush (it's at the beginning of the video) to get smoother lines. And in this case, and because we are filling outside the shapes, it doesn't matter if the lines go a little bit out when meeting. Hope it helps !

For some reason I can’t get mine to overlap like yours. No clue what I’m doin wrong.

Do you follow exactly the steps ? It might be the position of the layers. Check it and tell me.

@@LiliAlisa_Art yes, it was the position of the shapes - I kept at it & managed to get the hang of it. Thank you for this great tutorial!

Fascinating tutorial, and straight to the point.
Though I would hve one bit of advice, if you allow. You need better thumbnails for your videos, and a more cozy looking desktop setting. I know it shouldn't matter what your desk looks like, but this is UA-cam, and people click on nice nice thumbnails far quicker than they would on a plain looking one.

Hello, thanks a lot for your message, and thank you very much for your advice. Thumbnails are indeed important you are totally right, but I saw some of that type on UA-cam and really liked them. Not sure it gave me the will to click, but I liked the aesthetic of it. Could you give me an example of what you suggest ?
