I know a lot of People would agree with me that the 60's and 70's Music was the Best Music in a General sense as the Song writing back then was so Elegant and relatable to us Teens growing up! Joni Mitchell wrote the song, when she was 23 years old. Yet the thoughtful song's life wisdom has made it stand the test of time.
According to her, she wrote it after reading a book by Sol Blue, while she was on the plane. "I was reading 'Henderson the Rain King,'" she told the Los Angeles Times, "and the hero was on the plane, and I was on the plane too.
He looks down and sees clouds and I also looked down and saw clouds. I put the book down and started writing the song right away."

It’s been covered by others, but you know that nobody can hold a candle to you as far as I’m concerned. My little songbird, you always just go straight into my heart, and touch my soul. No other musician in my lifetime has had that effect on me.
