  • Beginners guide to cook Seeraga Samba Rice.
    This is a basic recipe for beginners to start your journey with Seeraga Samba Rice.
    Based on the collective questions and issues of my workshop participants and Instagram followers, I had tried to give solutions to various issues faced while cooking Seeraga samba rice.
    Tips are given to avoid
    Seeraga samba rice not getting into pongal consistency
    Rice not getting burnt
    Seeraga samba rice not getting dried.
    We are cooking Seeraga samba rice in open pot method.
    I am using very minimal spices for you to understand the entire cooking process.
    This recipe will be successful for a beginner only if proper measuring cups, gas measurements and tawa requirements are followed.
