A fantastic mod that I've been getting a lot out of. It's particularly fun on the Grayflag server, using CTLD and dropping off troops/supplies to capture points. You can input MGRS/Lat Long into the GPS at any time, and home in on it, as well as create flight plans and return courses. The APR-39 'Speak and Spell' voice is a nice touch, and the helo comes with Chaff and Flare. IR CM is not yet implemented. As for Door Gunners, the coding for that is sadly behind the SDK, so unlikely to be added - but I know the developer is considering implementing forward-fixed miniguns (the door guns stowed forward and wired up for Pilot trigger) as a possible future feature. You were also correct, the AHRU was the small strip at the front - like the Harrier, due to it being a combined-GPS system, it aligns very quickly.
The AHRS is the AN/ASN-142 Attitude Heading Reference System. During start-up all you have to look for is the "AHRS" indicator light which is on the panel to check for alignment. Once its aligned, you just have to check for the "SLAVE" indicator.
1:37 How do you move the camera like this, with the mouse? I cannot find the option and I really need it so my neck doesn't hurt :'3 And thank you for this guide, I'm using it to learn the heli.
First double press middle mouse button to get into mouse look and then you should find that you can press and hold middle mouse button the shift your view around.

It's a great community mod that's been out for a while. Surprised it took you this long to put a spotlight on it.

to use this mod we have to buy any helicopter in dcs?
No, it's a completely stand alone module. All you need is the base DCS World game.
