In case someone else didn't tell you the AR part you found that was round with the slot in it is the bolt carrier group. Don't show the numbers on the lowers, it's the part that has to be registered. I don't even know why you admitted finding them. And turn the badge in, you don't want to be caught with it. Clean it good with denatured alcohol first and mail it to them, unless you want to sit in an interrogation room for several hours. Also, probably lose everything you just found and not be compensated for it.

Some frown on those because they don’t bear a serial number unless you add it yourself. I’ll take that armorers kit for 40 bucks. I just bought one for 200. Enjoyed the video.
The best way to deal with that badge is to put on gloves clean with window cleaners to remove prints stick in mailing box that you only touch with gloves send back to the police station he worked at...not legal to keep unless they release it to you...if you take in then they will want to know what else you found..claim everything bought with stollen money and confiscate..happened to me...remember no good deed goes unpunished!!

If those lowers are 80% lowers you can sell them as long as they have not been milled once you mill them out they cannot be sold because they have no serial number. If you finish then you can keep the fire arm but you cannot sell them. And an 80% lower goes for about 60 -80 bucks. FYI the lower receiver is the only part considered a firearm and HAS TO HAVE A SERIAL NUMBER TO SELL IF COMPLETED.
