As soon as you started moving those "appliances", I just *knew* the property owner would be out crying about your "destroying his stuff"... Well handled, sir!
So store employees can physically remove people for not donning face coverings, but a homeowner can't confront a repo man and ask him what he's doing on said homeowner's property? Why do you respect big businesses like Menard's more than you do private homes? I can ask people to leave. I can ask the repo man to leave my home. And if he doesn't I'll use my firearm on him. Derek Chauvin also did his job, but we all saw how that worked out for him. "Just doing your job" won't work when you're trespassing on my property.
The military did not teach him to keep his yard and home in such a disarray. They also taught him to respect people. I knew as soon as he refused to help move the junk, he was going to complain about you handling it. Bet he complained to the company. I live in a 2 thousand dollar mobile home in a mobile home park, but my yard and home is neat and clean. Cleanliness is free.
Too many assholes play I'm a vet card and think that means they can be a shit person to everyone else.I know a lot of vet's that don't say it every 5 minutes. Like can I get a coffee ? I'm a vet. I'd like to order a sandwich do you have a discount? I'm a vet. Can I go in front of you in line? I'm a vet. Fine whatever if you weren't in Vietnam or Korea shut up you signed up for that shit.
Dude, you handled this situation so beautifully. The confrontation went from very heated back down to professional / respectful within 5-10 minutes. I honestly believe that most people in your position wouldn't have had the poise to stay cool and relaxed, the confrontation would have likely kept getting more and more heated until something stupid went down. And kudos to the veteran for actually realizing that he was in the wrong, you could tell by the change in his tone of voice that he felt foolish for acting out like that. Not all men have the self confidence to freely acknowledge when they're in the wrong, so I will say that was pretty big of him. And in the end you guys even started to become buds, lmao.. I'm seriously so impressed with your professionalism bro. Good work. Please stay safe out there.
That was a pretty nice washing machine he had there. If he gets it fixed, I would like to offer him a few bucks for it. Give me his phone number so I can get in touch with him. .
I run into people like him all the time. They know everything but cant do nothing except blame others for their problems. " Don't try to educate me". Obvious that no one has been able to teach that man anything,
Same here, I do mainly residential construction and deal with customers and tenants all the time like this who knew for months that things needed to be moved and then proceed to leave mountains of literal garbage in my way. It's always the same people who sit around all day and could have easily moved it themselves many weeks beforehand but didn't, and some act like it my responsibility even though it was discussed in detail prior, others want me to work around their garbage, in any case they are unhappy because they are secretly embarrassed of themselves.
I was in law enforcement for over two decades and I agree with you partner. Sometimes getting law enforcement involved does more harm than good. Especially with old school, backwards thinking hothead individuals like this guy. I’m not going comment on the state of the property, it is what is, not surprising why your there and why the guy has the attitude like he does. I agree 100%. with your assessment on the dog situation and it’s a shame the poor dog has to live in the condition like he does. He doesn’t get to choose to live like that. I certainly would like to give you a shout-out and five ⭐️ stars for the way you handled yourself. You held your ground and didn’t back down from a bully while still not condescending, nor escalating the situation and you set out to accomplish what you needed to get done. I was very impressed.
You agree with him even though he was breaching the peace and trespassing on the guy's property? Once you're asked to leave a home, you do so regardless of reason. By continuing to stay, the repo man committed criminal trespass. Why do you respect big businesses like Walmart more than you do private homes? If Walmart can ask a customer to leave, then a homeowner can order a repo man to leave. If the repo man refuses, the castle doctrine can be invoked.
@@SpectrumRob I was hoping the homeowner invoked the castle doctrine. Repo men are not law enforcement. They can't trespass on people's property. Who's going to show up at their funeral? Or name a highway after them? Nobody. My sister bought one and paid over a thousand for it. She said it was a really good price.

I was blown away the first time I saw him work that mule. Now I'm hooked on his vids. He's a nice guy and treats folks with respect.
Was hoping he called animal control on him once he left.
Well said
You agree with him even though he was breaching the peace and trespassing on the guy's property? Once you're asked to leave a home, you do so regardless of reason. By continuing to stay, the repo man committed criminal trespass. Why do you respect big businesses like Walmart more than you do private homes? If Walmart can ask a customer to leave, then a homeowner can order a repo man to leave. If the repo man refuses, the castle doctrine can be invoked.
@@SpectrumRob I was hoping the homeowner invoked the castle doctrine. Repo men are not law enforcement. They can't trespass on people's property. Who's going to show up at their funeral? Or name a highway after them? Nobody. If someone can be trespassed from a public library for not donning a face covering, then I can invoke the castle doctrine on a repo man if he doesn't leave within twenty seconds of being asked.

I was thinking the same thing. When he said, "I'm a retired carpenter!" I was thinking, too bad your not a retired dentist. Then maybe you could fix those baked beans you have for teeth. He said he could buy the materials to build the shed for $1,100 less than the shed cost him. Does he think Mary Poppins sings a tune and the shed puts itself together?
