Sure makes me feel more confident in my freeze dried food storage.
I am a Campbell’s kid ! My mother believed in Campbell’s soup I ate it for lunch every single day until I was in school I ate it almost every dinner as she made every casserole that came down the line ! And even today I eat it and I base every soup I taste to Campbell’s! Spam , salmon , Charlie tuna and imperial margine ! Cocoa wheats ! My childhood food ! Oh pop tarts on the weekend!
Don't you get bored of that soup?
Doesn't eating it everyday makes you kinda bored of it?
@@shiningeditedmoon they have literally dozens and dozens of flavors of soup
Imagine that I never get possibility in my 24- life to try that.
@@shiningeditedmoon as stated it would take a very long time too eat every kind so nope I’ll never get bored . I mean really … cream of chicken cream of mushroom cream of celery cream of tomato soup we cook with so we have at least 5 cans of each . Lipton onion soup mix is another staple cooking seasoning it makes a great meatloaf!!!
@@shiningeditedmoon dud I read your comment with contempt because I literally ate Maruchan noodles as a kid since primary school trough midschool and even first year highschool
I can smell the house through my screen...
Looks like it smells like warm bread and hot soup.
1:26 Oh cool, The memorabilias are superb!
ayyy Josh Macuga, been watching this dude on Collider and the Josh Macuga show for yeeeeeeears!
Campbell's was ahead of it's time.
You have to wonder how they get into these hobbies
The Merlin you have a ton of free time when you are retired
You should look Josh Macuga up. You'll get the answer to your question.
Yeah I just thought about that right now!
absolutely AWESOME video!!! thanks for posting it!
Awesome! I never knew Campbell's made freeze dried soup.
Would have been great if they had a modern condensed equivalent to compare with the 55yr old freeze dried soup!
Ms. Kline is like "These two men are going to die on my house... That can't be good for my mortgage"
This guy was reincarnated in this life from his past life of being the inventor and founder of Campbells Soup.
You guys don't know freeze dried foods were made to last forever ? And you just proved that - which is awesome.
Cant wait for the next episode I love this because I love history so much I think this show is great
I’m not sure if my taste buds changed, as I got older, but Campbell’s soup use to taste so much better, back in the 60’s & 70’s. Did they change the recipe or add a new spice? It just has a bit of a funky taste, like that fake garlic, taste. If so, they should come back with the original recipe and market it, as such. It may attract a lot of consumers. Loved this vid!!
Love this show. More please!!!!!♥♥♥♥
Eating Campbell's minute soup rn, very interesting thing to see!
I've been eating a lot of 5-10 year old canned food lately
😆 me to
For real?? You can eat canned food that old?
You won’t get sick if you eat old canned food??? 🤯
@@lando3761 As long as the soup was processed correctly and the seal holds, it can theoretically last forever. The problem is the quality degrades. The self life of canned soup is set based on quality deterioration rather than food safety. I have tried canned soup only a few days after it was processed and it can have a vastly improved flavor compared to canned soup produced even only a few months ago.
It's awesome to see The Wildman on his own show.
It’s funny that y’all eat this old food , lol most these shows would just go and see this collection you guys 1 upped em😂
1:30 wow! Vintage cars!! I love that!
Just found out about you all. Thanks for the content. Great stuff. Wonder how some 50 yr old bacon bits would taste in there.
Good to see you Josh
Holy moly! Good stuff!
I wonder what they did with the rest of the soup. Literally eating history.. just wow 🤩 ❤
I just found this show on UA-cam. In 2003, my friends and I drank a 20 year old 6 pack of Billy Beer. That might be a good idea for an episode. It’s still easy enough to find.
That was awesome !!!
What an amazing collection nothing like the good ole days what happen💔
Who else is watching this while eating a can of beans on lockdown?
Cold beans straight from the can
UFOz NoJoke mushroom soup. Campbell’s at that .
Tamcore Mc DjTMc LoL 😂 too funny 😂
@@maranatha8768 I was nearly sick when they ate the soup, i was unwell watching. That man's poor toilet the elderly couple were in astonishment
Quality content. Only here at the history channel
They need to hire Steve1989mreinfo they put his idea on cable
is old smokey under the witness protection program?? lol he even intro's himself as smokey
Good show yo
I was more interested in testing the condensed soup. It's not surprising that dehydrated food would still be good enough for survival purposes.
We would have loved to try one of his older cans but he wasn't willing to part with any.
Some butter, cheese, sour cream!!!!
Smokey reminds me of Vinny Paul.
I wish this show would teach a little more about expired foods we eat today.
From foods in paper, bottles, cans or in plastic packaging.
Such as what ingredients are in the foods to preserve them. And are they harmful after a period of time?
As well does the packaging leach out anything once past the expiration date, like cans or plastic?
It's always been a big name in the UK too, 2nd only to Heinz I believe.
They should put Stevemre on here
Josh is the man!!
Of all things to collect...
6:17 Sassy Old Broad.
Ahh I just ate an expired soup last night....seems like they're okay even though they ate a 55 y.o soup, so there's nothing to worry about.
This is just a joke xD
Why, still even in 2022, can't I buy a Campbell's canned curry? Why aren't there at least 4 varieties? Heat it up, pour over rice, and bam, instant multi million dollar industry.
Canned curries. I'm telling you Campbell, this is the way of the future. Free advice from a consumer.
That was great lol mmgood
I love soup
As long as you don't have any rust in the can right!
Surprised at how early the company started
I forgot to watch this last night
Everyone forgot
Good soup
Josh Macuga is the best!!!
Wildberries!!!
listen to that hiss...Nice
The old woman probably think they’re gross lol
Can’t believe you opened that can.
Here for super star Josh Macuga
Hi I’m Smokey hahaha what a clown
Cambells soup is good lol
Campbell's soup has everything except a racecar
I thought it was going to be funky. It wasn't freak me out eh.
so thats why there is a run on toilet paper ...."ive been eating canned food for a few days and forgot to check the expiration date," comes out looking the same way it went in !?
Hi
I have one question. WHY?
Poor old couple, i hope they got paid well to let them waltz up in their house and insult them like that.
0:34 are they sad for eat the soup ?
funny he needed to take a picture when there's a camera crew there making a video. lol...
With a pocket digital camera. Old people are funny, always use 15 years outdated technology. My dad at 71 just now started using Facebook.
They couldn't even watch the show because they don't have cabel unfortunately. So they wanted pictures to remember the occasion. Super nice folks.
I don’t think they know that there preppers lol
I hope y’all paid that man
If they drop the big one the only things to survive are roaches, Twinkies, and Red Kettle soup.
tastes good but they did not take another sip ? xD
We finished it. That's just the way it's edited. We didn't let any go to waste.
@@Oldsmokey1 oh, well i was about to type it may have been edited out.
ofcourse you finished it, would be sad to waste 55 year old food thats still good.
@@sveinungj
No doubt. I definitely don't waste food. It's just not in my nature.
Red Ketttle took too long to make vs. other Campbell soups.
Freeze dried foods lasts for years and years
Are you sure it's the right house?
Let's get smokey out onto a tray...nice! Mmmkay!
Nice hiss!
@@tonealadef nice gusset
Freeze dried soup was probably expensive to make, even in the 1960s.
Eating "vintage food" seems a bad idea to me. These guys could get very sick, very quickly. Food has an expiry date on it for a reason, some of it could become deadly.
who seen the ad in history TV and came here
Macuga's Instagram brought me here
Well of course the freeze dried will last longer! I want to see ya eat the regular can
Macugaaaaaa!
Nice hiss
🤔
Vono is better, too bad they shut it down.
Gaaahhh...it’s not even great when it’s within expiry date 😯
Should have used milk from the 60’s aswell
how about the the the BC era? eveb better mmhmm
2 girls one cup history channel version
the bearded dude is a charisma vacuum...
That's Old Smokey. I've been following his youtube channel for a couple years.
No soul at all
That would explain why all their products are so rotten. It ALL looks 55 years old.
WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY MMM MMM GOOD !
the Sassy old Broad did
You do know there is an expectation date on it right ? Lord Have Mercy ! Yuck 🤢!!!

Kyle Gardley. You lot are like Maggots!
This better be fake
that was a let down..its powder i thought you were going to eat a can of 50 year old soupe ....booooooo
Anything that has been freeze-dried would still be good duh
Host looks chopped
They changed there ingredients ...i dont buy anymore. 💩
This is cursed
The same formula as so many supposed reality show. They always have the one expert give a soliloquy about the history of the product. The formula is very stale, not watchable anymore.
New England Wildlife And More youtube channel is way better than these bozos
These two guys talk too much drama just eat the Soup and tell us
